So yeah, pretty big update I guess, it's been a little quiet for a bit, yes. I was doing stuffs over spring break, otherwise I would have updated you all earlier. Wanted to let you all know we settled on a resort location for the game, as well as the player characters, for male and female.

There's a link to download a little preview of how the system works. It will feature actors, save/load screens, menus, looping threads, some basic info on the project, reactive naming, and such. Go ahead and try it out, the team and I will keep on working away!

I recently got my hands on some software used to make a date sim game! Now, what I want to pose is this.

Do you want your character in here? Do you want to help write this out? All sorts of glorious things!

What I'd be looking for is quite a few things.

1: Characters. I need people who want to be in it. I can think up characters myself, sure, but thinkin' up a bunch can be rather taxing. Personalities, styles of speaking, common actions, fashion sense, I'd need to think up that whole shiiiiibang, sadly. Helping out by submitting your character in on this would be a huge help!

2: Character Artist. I don't really have art skills, I'm more of an author myself. This could rather easily be just a text based adventure, sure, but things are always better with art. It would just have to be simple stuff, really, but....there is likely to be quite a few characters. I'm not gonna ask for donations and stuff, I'd rather just be descriptive with text, but anything that we'd be able to add would make it a lot better!

3: Co-author. Someone who will either help write scenes, keep me on track, and just generally be willing to assist in the project. They'd probably be handed a chapter or two, or if we go with routes on the project, then a route or two to work on. I'd set up a google drive area where we could share updated versions of the scripts and game itself.

4: Plot. This is the big thing, I've been bouncing a few ideas around.
-Spaceship crew
-College
-Human in an anthro village
-Mountain resort, snow storm snows everyone in
Furthermore, this pushes the envelope of should it just be a cutesy romantic game, or should there be the diddly nsfw? It could go either way, I'm (and hopefully others, if I can get more on for the project) am good at writing either or.

Input, anyone?

I want to do commissions and all that, but....blehk, it feels harder to do that as an author rather than an artist. There just seems to be a sort of intangibility to writing that just doesn't draw people in like art does, that it doesn't have the same impact. Even worse, people don't want to pay you...it's always the whole "I'll pay in publicity" kinda deal.

I barely even know where it would start though, like....writing a story to someone's pics? They give me their characters and I go from there? How much do I charge? Short or long story? Time?

I dunno.

I'm going to try to think of commissions prices. I'm gonna try to set this boat sailing.

Guys, gals, peoples, I plan to start working on a multipart series, featuring a rather unlucky Barioth girl. It's going to be more short chapters, at least until I can get more into the flow of writing it

BUT! This is where you all come in. If you want to be written into the story, you can send me a ref and description of your sona, and how you'd like to be written in, such as being converted into a wyvern from the Monster Hunter series, or as your character being a hunter or guild crew member. Make sure to include things like personality and all that, I'd rather make sure to get the character downpat.

Also, designate if you'd want them to be featured in the romantic (read as: frick frack) scenes and their sexuality.
