As the title says, meakitty is getting dangerously close to the 1k views mark and is giving art away to the visitor that hits that mark. So go have a look. Who knows, you might be the winner and get some awesome free art out of it! :)

Won't be needing it anymore. Many thanks to Meaeshana for her tremendous help getting the video card replaced. As well as those of you who got commissions.

So here's the story. The magic blue smoke is starting to escape from my video card,resulting in the cooling fan to seize up. This, as would be expected, causes it to overheat extremely easily. I am able to limp it along, for the moment, but often have to open the case and flick-start the thing. the side effect of this, is that it is only barely able to to keep it within acceptable temperatures at idle (hovers around 40c) as such, anything that requires heavy use of the card, such as games, or even arting though only rarely, can cause the temps to spike and the card to fail.

Because of this, I am opening up several slots for 3D pinup commissions. with the hope of getting it replaced. I do already have the new card picked out, for those who might be interested.

Pricing is as follows:

Single character with a simple backdrop (nude or clothed) - $30: [SAMPLE] [SAMPLE] (NUDE)

Single character with a detailed background (nude or clothed) - $45: [SAMPLE] [SAMPLE] [SAMPLE] [SAMPLE]

Extra characters will be an additional $10 per characters.
Additionally, there will be a $15 charge for particularity elaborate characters, outfits, backgrounds, and special effects. Feel free to ask though, I'm happy to negotiate. :)
(It should be noted that, because I work with DAZ Studio/Poser, additional elements might need to be purchased to complete your image, at the commissioners cost. If necessary, I will put together an invoice to show what I will be getting, and the cost.)

My monitors have been dying slowly over the past few months. I started out with 3, now I'm down to the last one. As they were all purchased at the same time, I don't know how much longer this one will last. So I'm open for desperation commissions so that I can get a replacement/s before the last one goes. $200 USD will be enough to purchase the replacement.

Though I am /very/ limited in what I can do, I'll take what I can get. I can do pinups of human females and, to a lesser extent, males, nude or clothed (as long as the clothes aren't too complex). Tattoos/other skin markings can be added as well, as long as a good reference is included. Unfortunately I can't really do actual 'furry' images, but if you have a human character, I will do my best to to duplicate them. Please see my gallery for examples.

I have an idea. Who would like to be involved in a Community project called "Art Hour". Once a day, for an hour, mirage_dragon and I (meaeshana) are going to actually spend that whole one solid hour working on art. At the end of it we will post what we've done, ready or not, just to show our progress.

If other people would like to be involved I suggest we make it so that once you've posted you then go an constructively critique others daily art, so then we can all get feedback and help one another grow as artists. I also suggest that you FIND something to post for other people's works: One GOOD thing that you really love about the piece they've posted AND why you love it, and one thing that you see that needs IMPROVEMENT (not necessarily in a bad way, remember this is to help us get better and you know how crappy it makes you feel when someone tells you outright you've fucked up etc, so try not to do it to others. We're just looking for ways to improve our WORK IN PROGRESS pieces so that you improve the overall end result) along with a suggestion of HOW to improve said piece.

Critique doesn't have to be fancy or technical, we're not looking for a eye for detail, or an expert opinion... ultimately these works that we put so much effort into are for EVERYONE, so it's nice to get different view points and different ideas from unique individuals, so don't be afraid to not know how to FIX it, just suggest an improvement.

The artform doesn't matter, the outcome doesn't matter, only the progress, and the motivation, to do it, to get better, to share and to help one another. Be it traditional, digital, 3D, stories, poetry or whatever, anyone who would like to be in on this is welcome to join us.

Normally I wouldn't do this, but the situation warrants it.

They would, however be limited to the following:

Full human women only
Simple clothing please! (Nudes are perfectly fine)
Limited tattoos/skin markings/piercings and jewelry
And nothing too fancy for hair

I realize that's a hell of a constrictive list and I apologize if you lose interest in a commission from me because of it. And I won't be terribly fast at them, but I will try to get your image to you within a week.
