Happy New Year! Hope everyone has had a great start to 2015! (:
I'm in England visiting my family for Christmas/New Year right now still. Just had a really lovely few days staying with and !! They are so lovely! I had a great time.

Unfortunately I got a really terrible cold/flu thing. Oh man I just never ever can get just a slight cold. It's all or nothing. I am just so ill right now it's unbelievable LOLLL GODDDD. I feel like I've run a marathon or something. FIGHTING IT THOUGH. GET OUTTA HERE, SICKS. Shit. LOL.

Other than that, I've been working through my commission waiting list and hope I can open up more slots on FA sometime soon (maybe in a few weeks or next month). In the meantime I've been posting more of my art (commissions, adopts etc) on Twitter and sometimes accepting new commissions there. <3 So do follow me there if you'd like to see those! http://twitter.com/mirikun Drop me a message on there if you want a small-medium commission and I might be able to spontaneously do lil commissions. Hope you're all well! I've been doing great, but also super busy with work! I've had quite a few commission inquiries and I apologise for not having replied recently. I don't want to say no, but I'm also just not ready to work on commissions right now! Just another update. I've pretty much finished moving in, FINALLY. Phew, moving countries is tiring! Haha!
So yeah, loads of stuff has been going on and I've been mega busy. Still haven't really managed to get back into art properly arghhh! But I'm working on it! Working hard to draw every day and get back on track. Sorry for delays!

Also, I have shipped out all traditional commissions. I've had a lot of messages asking about them as they haven't arrived yet waa. ;__; I'm really sorry about this! I don't know why it's taking so long. This batch seems to be taking ages. Thanks all for your patience, and hopefully all will arrive soon!

Next to that, I've been working at my job at the orchestra. Spent last week teaching beginners cello to groups of 7 year olds and jesus christ it's a hella nightmare. Young boys are insane. LOL. But all in all, it's been really good. My work place is really clean and amazing, really.

Hello everyone!

I'm almost done moving! Had an extreme Ikea run yesterday and spent the day building a ton of furniture! I have a bed YES!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a bunch of really awesome stuff and my apartment is amaaazing! Can't wait for everything to be properly moved in and ready eee! On Friday, I'm finally getting internet again so I'll be good to get working again then!

I also got a job! Still working on art most of the time but I'm part time working at a school with an orchestra. I get to photocopy 800 cello and viola parts and write fingering into all of the younger kids'/beginners' parts LOL. Honestly, it's been super great though. I've been enjoying it so much. I'm so happy I've find something that I'm completely qualified for and feel able to do well. With this I'll be able to pay most of my bills, so I can be more relaxed/faster/etc with commissions. I'm really excited!

ALSO LOOKING FOR LOCAL FRIENDS OOOOOO I'm living near Frankfurt if anyone wants to meet up and hang out!!

Then unfortunately I have some bad news too. For the second time, my Cintiq Companion's battery has died. I already got a replacement for my first one that had the same issue. Dang! So frustrating! However, hopefully I'll quickly get a replacement super soon so I can get on digital art again. x__x Until then, lots of traditional! It's a fantastic machine and I wouldn't trade it for anything but shit, I so wish they would fix that dumb battery issue LOL. So, I'm afraid all digital art is delayed until this is fixed. If you'd like your commissions done traditionally instead so it gets done sooner, do let me know and we can totally arrange something. (:

On Wednesday I'm finally off to Germany permanently. All my stuff was shipped over a few weeks ago, so I'm finally following haha! I've been hit with a slight art block thingy. I've been drawing every day, but damn I haven't been able to get anything proper out!! GRRRR. Doing a bunch of sketches trying to get back into it so I can resume doing full colour things asap. Damn.

I had a FANTASTIC final night at EF.

I'm in the process of booking a flight to Berlin. I was gonna take the train but FLYING IS CHEAPER. WHAT THE HELL LOL (I'm travelling from Frankfurt).

I'm afraid there will be a bit of a delay of my shipping of traditional artwork. My family have been visiting for a while and I'm going back to Germany with them for a little while. Thought we were leaving next week, but turns out it's tomorrow. Ahh! I will be returning in September when I can ship everything out. So sorry for the trouble!

As some of you know, I finished university recently and now things are going to change. Time to put my degree to use (lol). No more student discounts. DANG. NO MORE FREE CHEESEBURGERS AT MCD'S. LOL. I am going to be moving quite a long way away, but am going to need some help to get there! I'm moving to Kyoto with a friend to work at the international school and take a few more courses to add to my qualifications.

Before I go, I need to save a bit of money to start me off. I'm very lucky to have got myself through university without a student loan (endless commission work haha!), but I do have my student overdraft to pay off.
