I'm sorry for staying under the radar at the moment but I'm going through some creative problems at the moment... ok... for the past 2 1/2 months by now....

My mental health is... okayish but something seems to be lurking below. I can't remember the last time I've been SO slow with getting art realted things done...
I really WANT to draw but whatever I start seems to take forever and it never quite looks like. The longer this goes on the more it's starting to freak me out.

It almost feels like I'm losing the ability to draw. Sounds silly but that's what it feels like right now.

I'm trying to find a balance between rest and pushing myself to try but it's hard ><
The fact that I have to figure it all out without my therapist is making things even more complicated.

I have some days off this week and I'm trying to give myself a chance to "just draw stuff". Maybe it's just some kind of weird art block... I don't know. I truely don't know!

I've been sick since last Friday and it hit me pretty hard.

It's not Corona but I still feel pretty bad with headache, coughing and freezing, no matter what. I tried to get things done but I'm too exhausted to draw or do anything productive, and after throwing up last night, I decided to do the reasonable thing and take a break for the rest of the week.

Since Eurofurence is cancelled this year and the online version isn't an alternative for me, I decided to hold a small raffle.

Hope you're all ok out there!

The past week has been kinda exhausting for me. I've had trouble with asthma and bronchitis my whole life long and it takes forever for a cough to get better. -_-
I caught a cold after NFC and over the weeks it got worse. Nothing to worry, just a lot of coughing, followed by headache and pain in my ears, leaving me rather exhausted every day :P

Yesterday I started to feel better and at least the pain has stopped. Today I finally started to get back at my commissions, notes, etc.

At least the social distancing feels great when it comes to my mental health! ;)

So sorry for the slow pace at the moment. I'll do my best to make more progress soon!

I just finished the last paid art I had to do and now it's time for me to take some time off!
January will be a month for me to spend time for myself. Taking a break between the end of the Christmas madness at work and the start of the convention season.
I'm still going to draw but it's going to be my own stuff. A good friend is supporting this plan by threatening to break my fingers if I should draw anything work related... so I'll probably outsource my Patreon rewards to my rats ;)

I'm back from my Disneyland-and-larp-week and after sorting out some real life stuff, I'm finally back, drawing stuff!

I had a great time with  Dolphiana,  dodger,  Shungi and another friend, spending three days in Disneyland Paris. It was a good thing to do after the rough year and now I have some more good memories to get me through the depressive days.
Also I got some new pieces for my Scar collection and some adorable Ratatouille goodies.

After that I joined  ronuk and  calystam for a larp-weekend. Due to my anxieties it wasn't an easy event for me but it was fun to chase players as a witch or undead ;)
Collected some bruises and it took some days until my muscles stopped aching, but that's part of the fun!
Now I'm looking forward to our own larp in twoo weeks.

Besides all this, I'm happy to be back because now I finally have time to draw again! :D

Hey there!

Just felt like writing a little update on things.

Since around the middle of May, my mental stability has been rather unstable. A lot of things were going on in my real life and especially having to deal with the loss of Finny and her previous sickness messed me up a lot.
I still managed to get along quite well and even beat a strong impulse to hurt myself again (Yays me! Almost a year without self-harm!!!) but I've still been very unstable. A random mood every day and mostly it was anxiety. :P

Today I finally made some important progress during therapy (at least I hope so) and we set up some rules for me. I need rules as orientation and to give me stability so I really hope this will help me to set up my routines.

Also I'm sorry for being so slow with the commissions. ><
My stupid mind came up with the idea to start working on everything at the same time because of the missing structures and now I'm trying to work out everything.
Please bear with me, I'm trying to get back on track.

After finishing this list I'll have to go back to a strictly limited amount of commissions at a time so I'm not tempted to burden myself with more than I can manage in a timely manner.

Spent the last few days at my parents home becuase they took care of my ratties and now I'm FINALLY back home! It's nice to have your own bed and some quiet time again.

Conventions always fuel my motivation and creativity... so it's kinda sad that there won't be another one before Confuzzled 2020 ._. Well, the title already says a lot.

I really would like to get some art of my characters to cheer me up when I'm not feeling well.

"You draw a lot of stuff, so draw them yourself!"
Well, good argument, but some of you may know that my head's kinda messed up and I start feeling bad when I spend too much time on art for myself. It's way to complicated to explain it now but it's a serious problem for me.

"There are many artists out there, offering commissions. Ask them!"
That's another complicated thing... my favorite artists either don't do commissions at all, don't like to draw wht I'm looking for or I simply can't afford their art ^^;
I keep looking up the same artists with the same frustrating results, so I'm writing this journal to see if anybody can point me towards some artists I haven't discovered yet. (on FA or elsewhere)

What I'm looking for:
- artists who like to draw male, human characters
- artists willing to draw gore (no candy gore please ><)
- should be open for commissions/trades/whatever every now and then

.... well... that's basically already it. ._.
Looking at it, it sounds so easy but somehow I fail to find someone to draw my messed up characters.
