New Everything! What does that mean??
Posted 7 months agoI have doubled down on buying Clip Studio Paint!
What does that mean you may ask?
A learning curve where I will most likely take up some personal projects and some requests while figuring out my new drawing tablet and new drawing software! Woohoo!!
However! This will be done after my college semester since I have a lot going on still (；ＴДＴ) animating is a pain but damn do I love it
I promised some updates with my student capstone film too! I shall follow through ( ・`ω・´)
Im either gonna collage a bunch of my environment sketches in the scraps folder or I'll upload a walk cycle of our first modeled character. Maybe both? Granted I haven't made the walk cycle yet lmao
Love you all! How have you guys been? Any excited life updates you're comfortable sharing? (^ω^)
I for one am able to finally say my mental health has been amazing and consistent for a while now! I look back at my old art and I see some great ones and a fair amount that could be improved. I can especially tell which ones were the ones during my "haha who needs sleep? I haven't slept in 3 days and I feel GREAT" moments .............

I just wanted to seriously thank everyone who still watches me and the occasional likes I still get!
I know I'm not active here at all nowadays but my college has been needing my full attention with animation, essays, and projects. I really hope to get back into drawing more for you guys. I miss you all ( ｡ﾟДﾟ｡)
I have a better quality drawing tablet which I'll have to relearn how to use and I'm debating about getting a new drawing software too if anyone had any recommendations :) I know Clip studio paint has been popular but please feel free to leave a comment
And hey if you guys want me to share a little about my senior capstone film let me know! I'm in a group with 7 other students and the film will be done next year around May. I'm in charge of environment concepts, rigging/animation tester, and be a lead animator when the time comes.
I'm not sure how much specific detail I'll go in since I don't want my groups to find my account lmao but the story is based in 1920s New Orleans with rubber hose inspired designs and animation :))
I miss drawing furs and my art style has definitely changed throughout the course of various art classes I've taken. For the better I think lol

After my 2024 fall semester, I'll only have 8 more classes spread throughout 2025-2026 until I graduate. Super exciting yet exhausting all in one ( ＞Д＜；)

Sorry for leaving you all in the dark! Trigger warning for subjects related to suicide
I eventually tried to kill myself early august and failed. I called my friend and they called the police, but Im lucky to be alive. I want to thank everyone here for continuing to support me. I moved into my sisters apartment and am currently attending college again. Im working a part time job and have free time to draw now. Please be patient with me while I reteach myself how to work my drawing tablet.

I'm working on a commission, an art trade, and 2 of my personal art pieces (which can wait) rn

Got moving plans, looking for jobs, probably gonna need to work more than I want, got college planning, and still gotta make time to eat ◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗ ahhh and even more things going on

so life got a bit busy for me and I haven't touched any of my drawings yet. I should have some done in a few more days tho!
I'm starting the paperwork to move out into an apartment woo but it will take a loong time to get everything good to go. Fingers crossed I'll be at the new place before my college semester kicks in ٩(＾◡＾)۶
So far it seems like I'll have to crash on my sister's couch for a bit (－‸ ლ)

Posted 2 years agoI maay have finished the 13 seasons of One Piece on Netflix, and I figured I'd check to see if ya guys knew any good sites to watch the rest of the seasons!
and I'm not talking about subscription-based services, I am a proud broke college student.
I probably should have watched the movies between all those episodes come to think of it, but I didn't bother looking into the correct order until now rip ( ; ω ; )
so I got time before I jump back into the series
I used to use a site called Soap2day for EVERYTHING for the past 5ish years but they finally took it down (ಡ‸ಡ) those monsters!!

Granted I made two accounts already, so I could always use both...buuut that seems a bit excessive
especially since I'm not popular for either anyways lol
I'm thinking more towards the future ya know, so do you fluffs have a preference towards any of that and/or have an account with them already?
The only big difference for me would be the percentage tax, but it doesn't bother me much.

Work Speed Goals + Free Art Info
Posted 2 years agoHeyoo, I like making these journal posts. Anyways, I'm normally super slow when it comes to creating art, so my goal is to try tofinish one art piece a day , at the very most one in three days. Course that depends on life and how long I'm able to slouch over my drawing tablet, but I like setting goals for myself.
FREE ART ANNOUNCEMENT
When the week ends on June 3rd, I won't delete the post. I'll keep drawing your guys's ocs/sonas after the entries close, but I will ignore any other comment posted afterward. Keep on spewing your ideas in the meantime. FYI the more detailed the ref/idea (such as dislikes/likes, scenario, CLEAR reference sheet), the more likely I will draw them. I wanna make art geared towards personality, so I don't accidentally make a top a bottom or have someone doing anything that is out of character (especially with fetishes and kinks). Know what I mean? Feel free to reply to your old comments with more details if you want.

Posted 2 years agoIdk if it's just me or not but seeing people sell adopts for $70+ has my jaw dropping through Earth's crust. Don't get be wrong, the artwork and character design is phenomenal. The artist deserves every last bit! But just like...wow
