I keep telling myself I'll update here. I start out on the right foot, then I fall back into forgetting about this place and uploading artwork here.
If you haven't been following either of my twitter accounts (@misorarae/@thatdumbdragon), then you've missed out on a lot that's happened since my last update here. Long story short, I moved into a new house 3x bigger than my last one... and 2020 sucks. Obviously, there's more that's happened, but meh. Now that I'm in my new house, it's taken a little while to settle in and get everything unpacked. There is tons more space to spread out and not feel so cramped! I even have an office all to myself again! Hopefully once I get my office straightened up and organized I can start getting back into art full time.

Been thinking about purging my gallery and starting over, but at the same time I'm wanting to leave them because I'll loose all those lovely comments people have left one them. If anything, I will at least be going back and giving each image an overhaul. Files need updated, descriptions are lack-luster, and I need to include my website information.
As for new artwork, I have a bit to upload here, but I'm not sure when I'll get to uploading it. I keep saying I'll try to update it here on a timely basis, but it's not a matter of -try-. It's a -need-. With the pandemic raging across the US at an alarming rate, my artwork and sales from my website have become rather vital. Without people seeing my artwork, it does nothing for me. So, I need to get it uploaded as soon as possible. My office is still a huge mess and getting it cleaned off and organized is priority right now (so I can work on art), but uploading new stuff will come.
In the mean time, be sure to check out my Twitter accounts for the latest. I tend to post there every couple of days, even if it's a small sketch or something along those lines.

It's been a year now since I've updated anything here. I do apologize for that. To be honest, I have fallen out of touch with all of my online galleries, especially updating any new artwork to them. I have been posting to my Twitter, but that is about it, so if you aren't following me there, it looks like I've just been dead.
I still have yet to properly update anything here, but hopefully I can concentrate on getting things back where they need to be soon. For now, most of my art is posted to Twitter.

- I know I may end up going to Kura during the con at some point, but I dunno other than that.

It's been a year now since I've updated anything here. I do apologize for that. To be honest, I have fallen out of touch with all of my online galleries, especially updating any new artwork to them. I have been posting to my Twitter, but that is about it, so if you aren't following me there, it looks like I've just been dead.
I want to be able to reverse this before MFF this year. I have plans on entering several pieces into the art show there, so that means I really need to get things updated. I am going to try and keep it to no more than two or three pictures a day until I'm caught up so I'm not overwhelming anyone's inbox. I'm dreading the upload process, but I'm honestly looking forward to finally being able to show off my art to everyone again!

I've been rather quiet here on my FA for the last 6 months, and I apologize about it. I have really been focusing my attention of getting my deviantART gallery updated, which is taking quite a while. I've got 19 years (1999) of artwork to go through and update. Thankfully, as I am progressing through the years of art to the most recent, it's becoming easier, but it still takes a lot of time out of my day. Hopefully, once I'm done there, I'll move onto my FurAffinity and other art galleries. For now, the best place to see my most recent artwork is via my Twitter or my art Facebook page. I will link those below.

WildNights 2018

Looks like I'll be attending WildNights this year. For those unfamiliar with WildNights, it is an outdoor Furry convention held in Robber's Cave State Park. It's enjoyable, if you like the outdoors and nature. It's held the last weekend of April, which is beautiful time since everything is in bloom and the temperature is mild.
I've already got plans to primarily set up in the "Artist Alley" (if you could call it that) and sell as much as I can and cross my fingers it's not a muddy mess like it has been for the last couple of years. I've got plenty of goodies to sell this year, along with my usual convention badge slots. I might possibly fursuit, just depends on if the weather permits. If not, my butt is going to be drawing the entire con. :D

Posted 8 years agoHey guys! TFF is coming up soon so I figured I'd post some info about it. This year is going to be special because not only will it be a new hotel, but I will also be co-hosting a fat/inflation/round fur art panel with Kobalt and Zaf! It's going to be an 18+ panel because there will be a lot of adult elements, including me being a model and showing some skin since I do have a belly IRL. It looks to be most likely happening late Friday night, but the schedule is subject to change. The conbook will have a definitive time slot! I really hope to see you guys there and get to meet some new folks and see old friends again! One thing I ask is please be courteous and respectful to everyone at the panel including myself and the co-hosts. I will be extremely nervous as this is my first time to be a model for anything like this.
In addition to helping host the panel, this will be my first year, EVER, having my artwork in an art show! I am honored to give TFF my first showing as it is a con a hold close to heart. I am still trying to decide what pieces I'm going to be showing there, but be sure to stop by the art show and check out my booth if you are going! It would make my world!

Arriving Thursday afternoon, leaving -hopefully- Monday morning depending on how plans unfold

A big indication will be my walking speed. The faster I'm walking, the more of a hurry I'm in. If I'm not in a hurry and just don't want to be bothered, my nose will most likely be plastered in my sketchbook or 3DS.

Posted 8 years agoSo, I'm leaving to go out of town tomorrow and will not be back until Monday evening. I'll be without net access the entire time, so I'll be missing my Kickstarter campaign coming to an end.
This means, this is the last promotion I'll be making for this. It has almost reached it's first stretch goal, so I am really hoping that it does! I'd love to see the purple coloration get made!

Regarding FA and Where To Find Me
Posted 9 years agoI have a lot of mixed thoughts about what has happened with FA this past few weeks. Instead of writing out a lengthy journal about why FA is an utter mess, I'm going to be writing about why I'm staying up, even with everything going on.
FA has been my primary go-to art gallery for quite some time now. It was not my first. My first home was deviantART. Over time, I just didn't feel at home there anymore. That's when I migrated over here. Do I still use my dA? Yes, I do. However, it is not my primary gallery anymore. And this is what is now happening with me and FA. Back in March of 2015 when FA was bought by IMVU, I bailed and made my move over to Weasyl. People were asking me to come back to FA because they missed seeing me and my art there, so I uploaded my gallery again and made this place another deviantART. Weasyl is my home. Even though I see FA ultimately becoming like SheezyArt, I'm still here. I still have an audience here, just like I do other places.

I know there are many people that do know him that are unable to attend his service today, so I will be hosting a stream of his service for those that can't make it. The stream will start at about 5:50PM CST. The service does not actually begin until 6, but this will give people time to come in and have everything loaded when it does start.
The chat is enabled to everyone that joins, but I do ask of everyone please keep things respectful. Everyone joining this stream may not be a Furry.
