Hello again. Another journal so soon

So, a quick explanation into what’s going on at the moment, you all know from my last journal that my tablet packed in and I’m now waiting on a new one, I had to wear a pink trifle dress at a wedding on Saturday and for the ultimate piss-take my entire house has caught the lurgie.

Light hurts my eyes, and until I can at least see what I’m drawing, I can’t do any commissions, after that I can only do the traditional ones I have until my tablet has arrived and then we’ll be back to normal.

And what is normal?

So you can see, quite a long list. I’m going to have to ask the guys at the bottom of the list to be patient while I slog my way through college work and the rest of the list


So far your commissions have been helping me learn to fly gliders, from now on I’ll be updating you with what I’ve been getting up to, my progress and maybe a couple of videos as well. This week I’m applying for a bursary which can give me enough money to go solo in gliders. I’m also now on EMA/ALG with my college which gives me learning funds a week. That means <i>all</i> my commission money will be turned towards earning me a Private Pilot’s licence.
The goal is around £7,000. So far I’ve earned a total of £200 which has gone to gliding (and fixing my Tablet) so there is £35 left. I will update this progress bar as we go along. For now

It’s starting to become a little bit difficult to keep track of what I’ve got to do next and how much I’ve truly earned if I get someone sending me money for a commission that is 4 or 5 pieces down the line. And worst of all you will start to feel like I’ve nicked your money; it puts too much pressure on me to get pieces done when I can’t.

Got a concept for something you’d like visualised? Know the concept’s purpose but not how it looks? A building? A character? A vehicle? A monster? I can draw it and help you visualise it with a lined and shaded concept

Especially people who have commissioned me before, should the prices be different? I’ve had a couple of people tell me I should price higher but I don’t want to go out of anyone’s price range, which ultimately could mean less art

Commissions:
I’m learning to fly gliders, it costs me £3.75 for every winch launch I do, plus 17p for every minute I’m in the air (then after an hour it becomes free), during the winter time each £5 will earn me a winch launch when we’re not staying up in the air for very long. So any help is appreciated. Also my goal is to also earn £4000 to try and earn myself a Private Pilot's lisence

Extra Information
I make commissions in British pounds as it’s my currency

I can’t say for certain what I will and won’t draw (that’s legal at least), so always ask and you’ll probably get a yes. If you don’t get an outright yes, we’ll see what we can do as an alternative

Certain things may not be as clear cut. If you come to me and say ‘can you draw a character concept for me and can I use it as official artwork in my game?’ I may ask for a small percentage of any profits you make, or I may ask for an extra £1 or so or whatever we both deem as fair as it may require my artist’s signature to be removed. Who knows, I may even like your project enough to want to join!

I also would like to be able to show any piece I’m especially happy with and not confine it to a dark closet; this can help me immensely, so unless we’ve agreed something else, you will probably see the commissions on Deviant art or Fur Affinity

I’ll always keep you informed what’s going on and I’ll make sure you have a WIP before anything final’s put down if you want.
I’m happy to make amendments and changes halfway through that’s within reason. If there’s a big change needed, we’ll decide what to do

The commissioner has paid me to draw him or her a piece for them only, although it may be up on a public website, common courtesy still applies regardless of what ‘creative commons licences’ have to say about it, and we agree where it can and can’t be used, please don’t run off and post it elsewhere if either myself or the commissioner has said ‘no’
