Status Update
Posted 6 years agoOkay so I feel like I should let you guys know where I've been. Basically I've not been in a great mental state, and have been feeling extremely drained and demotivated. This was a combination of things both physical and psychological.
I'm currently working to get out of it and a potential solution is a little change of scenery. However, I need to raise some funds for the travel expenses, so I will be opening commissions again in a few days, keep an eye out for that!

Posted 7 years agoMaybe you shouldn't create a meme of intentionally annoying the leader of your platform by breaking one of their rules. Other websites implemented algorithms and ban-bots to handle that sort of thing. Don't want Twitter to go the way of Tumblr and Youtube? Maybe stop bastardizing their brand.

October Status Update
Posted 7 years agoAlright so I owe you guys an update. Basically I was sick with some severe stomach issues, and it took a while to get a proper diagnosis. Then I spent a period recovering with a specific diet, and wasn't really connected to the internet for a while.
Nevertheless, I was still drawing and have quite the backlog of stuff to post so expect a lot from me coming up. I've got it scheduled to post a few each day to hopefully not overload you guys with content. Sorry I've been gone for so long...

Let's Talk, Not Fight
Posted 9 years agoThis journal is from the perspective of an American-Floridian-Orlando Citizen.
Alright so another ripe election has come to pass and while the outcome is not what I personally wanted (I really didn't want either since they've both got a shady history and are impossible to actually trust on anything they say), it is what I expected us to get given how the internet has been acting, and one can think of the internet as the "Sub-Conscious" of everyone. Trends on it tend to influence our lives, and as it gets more prominent it'll only get more-so.
So blame the internet right? Not necessarily, the internet is a tool, it can do three things, build something, destroy something, or inflict great pain when misused. We've done beautiful, inspirational things with the internet and horrible destructive things with it.
What makes so now different? Well the key to a healthy system of anything is communication. As an ex-mute I can attest to how painful it is to be unable to have your voice heard. The early internet was pretty great at this, with Forums, generally one could ask a question, or start a conversation without much trolling, and abuse, there'd be some occasionally but there was far less circlejerking -spirals of abuse to get likes and popularity among a group- and "us vs them" sentiments I feel.
It's probably one of the main reasons I left the LCF, I thought it was just there that people were scared to talk about issues. Maybe I'm an alien but as a TF artist I adored the idea of new perspectives, and talking to people to see how they feel about things. Now if I try it's often seen as starting trouble, or I get no response since people are either too scared to voice their opinion, or don't want to offend me and "destroy a friendship".
This kind of sentiment is exactly how someone like Trump can get elected, complete social clique isolation, and bubbles of like-minded people prepare their militias because everyone in the world is a werewolf out to devour their sheep. The paranoia eventually turns the village against each other, and only the snake-oil salesman preaching of werewolves comes out on top.
No one involved is really a nazi, or a monster, or an idiot, they're all just groups acting out of confusion and fear of what "They" will do to "Us". It's incredibly unhealthy and leaves us all monsters in the end.
The solution is simple, talk not fight. You can still be friends with someone you disagree with, Hell the odds that you're just like your friends is slim to none, so unless you want to bide time until a tiny disagreement tears everyone apart you better learn to compromise.
Since people tend to have trouble doing it though here are some simple Guidelines.
1. You are not the media you consume. If someone doesn't like your favorite movie, it's not a personal attack. Think of it like food, not everyone's going to like olives on their pizza pie. Does that make them bad people? No. So not liking Star Wars, or Undertale, or (Insert Anime here) doesn't make them a bad person either. It's just tastes it has nothing to do with intelligence.
2. Opinions do not make an argument invalid. It's another disturbing trend, just watch an episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, and just about any criticism will be passed off as "Well that's just his opinion, I think the foods great" This is an issue because a good discussion you listen to their opinion, consider the perspective and see if your reality is really that correct. You don't have to please everyone obviously, but you should consider every criticism, sometimes people might notice things you don't think of it as debugging you can't find every bug, but you can decide which bugs should be features.
3. Don't block people you disagree with, unless they're legitimately going out of your way to attack you. A good friend recently ran into someone who legitimately needed a block since all the person did was spam nazi propaganda to get a shocked response, THAT is trolling. If someone leaves a criticism, that probably isn't and sometimes the people sending bitter comments are just so starved for conversation any response will do. I've met some great people just trying to get a real conversation from furries looking to "RP".
To sum it all up guys, try to talk to people more, keeping it in is slowly killing everyone.

Out of the Darkness comes rebirth,
Posted 9 years agoExcuse the cheesy title, I've been absent for quite a while, thinking mostly, and working on school, it's been a particularly difficult semester so I hope you all can excuse the slow progress on your art stuff, I'm working on getting it, been working on a lot of things.
A prompt from one of my classes got me thinking though, the topic was "Your own personal Superhero" and though I consider the superhero thing a bit childish myself, I came to the realization that my dream ability, superpower if you can call it that, would be to be a Renaissance Man.
Now before you get flashbacks to Star Trek Voyager, or that 90s movie, hear me out. Renaissance essentially means "Rebirth" and refers to the wonderful period in history when we started moving out of the dark ages. Such pioneers like DaVinci and Michelangelo are considered Renaissance men. In essence people who were able to be jacks of all trades and excel at whatever they tried, as a massive reaction against years of darkness and oppression.
I'd like to be one too, now I'm not saying I am one since that'd be a ridiculously pompous thing to claim but rather they're my superhero ideal. Someone who can endure incredible darkness and still bring a new era of enlightenment to the world.
You all probably figure I've been through a lot, and I'm not shy to talk about it so I figure if anyone can have their own personal Renaissance it's me, or at least it's something to strive for, without it feeling impossible like other things I've tried. I want to create, I want to bring my ideas to life, I'm sick of keeping them all locked away under silence and fear. No one else will do it for me so I might as well be my own hero and rescue them from the void. Heck video games and media in general seems to have fallen into a dark age as well so perhaps we all need a few more Renaissance men around to brighten things up.
What do you guys think?

Posted 9 years agoA sad truth of the matter, I've seen it happen before, "my cat has cancer plz donate $5 for her operation and you'll get a drawing" and that sort of thing get funded in literally a day, but an actual human, who could live far longer and impact more lives than any cute cat, or loyal canine.
But people have a screwed up perception of others. A sort of perceived guilt, or maybe misanthropy, Humans suck, they deserve what they get but animals are innocent they don't know what's going on. They're life is more valuable because it's our responsibility to keep them alive. It really irks me since animals are hardly innocent, eating their children, wallowing in their own feces, and having brutal territorial wars with members of their own species.
I've brought it up before but I'll say it again,
thechaossdragon is sick with cancer, one that could be cured if he had enough emotional and financial support. He's a kid at just age 19, who has all the potential in the world to live a full life. If you don't think 19 has potential, I just started drawing at age 19 before then I was mostly farting around doing nothing. If it was the end for me then, well Miss Miss, and all these pokemon Transformations, my role in the LCF, would have never happened.
There's so much at stake, and unlike those little charities whose funds go to many other things aside from actually helping those who need it, you could actually donate directly and help save an actual human life. Sure suffering comes with the human experience, but are we so apathetic that we'll turn a blind eye when we know we can directly prevent it? I know I wouldn't if I had something I could do and I am!
If that's not enough for you I'm offering my talents of drawing as extra initiative, so you wont only get the satisfaction of helping someone survive the big C, you'll get a drawing of anything you like, transformation, Icon, animation, even adult pics if that's what appeals to you, whatever would get you to support I'll draw, no prudence is worth a human life. You can even get rewarded for just spreading the word.
If it doesn't work out I might just retire from drawing myself since if I needed the help I'd be out of luck too...

Cleaining 2015's Plate (Halloween Missingno Prize)
Posted 10 years ago2015 was an active year for me so I'm still working to get a bit of the stuff I owe done and until I do so I wont be taking any more commissions. I owe a few one shots, a Transformation comic and some prizes for those who entered the draw your missingno comic. For those who entered said contest please be sure to read the rules and stipulations below.
Draw Your Missingno Prize Stipulations
-Transformation comics will be 5 panels
-No Gen 2-6 pokemon. Unofficial/not canonical pokemon from spinoffs are fine.
-No Character TFs, the transformations can be of species but not into specific characters, so a Koopa TF is fine but not bowser specifically.
-Nothing from the Undertale or My Little Pony Franchises
-No complex Characters. A dragon is pushing it, standard fare is a 4 limbed animal.
-No adult situations or specific requests in sexual related areas.
-No fetish content like inflation, foot infatuation, or otherwise I am a TF artist not a smut peddler.
-Repeats of Gen 1 pokemon already taken is frowned upon but otherwise acceptable.
**People who did more than 1 pokemon can have a comic per each or combine the prize for up to a fifteen panel comic.

Posted 10 years agoYou may be familiar with the term Aeolus well "Claire Zera" better known as MistressMissingno fits into that category. She's not a real person but due to the nature of my work and situation I can't be fully honest with you guys lest I risk severe consequences. The only features I share with Claire are hair color, the rest are based off the early concepts of the gen 1 female character that never reached the final product.
Now don't get me wrong that doesn't mean the opinions I express here aren't genuine, they're just under a mask for my own safety, it's also why I haven't shown "Artist Claire" like RainbowRaven and other members of the LCF on DA have, such a thing would not be a good idea in my situation.
I love all of you who interact with me and like my work though, when I first started I had no idea what would happen. Now after what feels like a few years I'm happy I made this decision! I hope you all understand and don't feel any animosity for some potential misunderstandings...

SoG: Missingnalia Holiday Deals
Posted 10 years agoHey I'm back to doing Gen 1 commissions, but this time a little Holiday Special, lasting only until Christmas, I will be doing $10 5 panel stocking stuffer comics similar to this one , a great gift for your friends who enjoy pokemon and transformations. Limited Time offer, Commissions will close Midnight Eastern Standard Time on December 24th. Limit of 1 comic per person unless its a gift to someone else.
