Posted 11 years agoBecause a lot of people have actually been asking me lately what I will or will not do/what things cost/when things get done/ect.

This list may change as people ask me what I can and cannot do. I expect it to get longer.
Q: I want to commission you, have contacted you, but did not receive an estimate or your paypal. What does this mean?
A: I either forgot, or your commission has been declined. Try contacting again just to make sure I didn't forget. (Though that rarely happens.) You are also welcome to contact me on Twitter.
Q: How long does it usually take to receive work after payment?
A: This depends on my schedule at the time of ordering. I do work a full time job out in the real world so that will always take priority over commissions. The average wait varies based of what you order. The more detail work you need done, the longer it will take. Generally sketches and flats can be done in a matter of hours to days. Anything fully colored or with multiple characters could take up to 3 months. Just keep checking in and I'll give you a status update on your work.
Q: I commissioned you with a very specific description of the pose and mood I wanted and made sure to include LOTS of detail. Why doesn't the picture I ordered look EXACTLY like how I described?
A: Because sometimes the artist knows best. Believe it or not most of the ideas I have proposed to me are either physically impossible, or would require some sort of 5th dimensional plane for them to exist. Therefore, I WILL take artistic liberties to make the best quality image of ARTWORK for you while still retaining the overall effect of your request.
Q: Do you do comic style commissions?
A: No.
Q: May I commission a sexually explicit image with one of YOUR characters in it?
A: No.
Q: I don't have a reference yet for my character, can you still draw me art?
A: Yes of course! Just include a detailed description in your request note and we'll work something out.
Q: Are there any animals/characters you won't draw?
A: See "won't draw" list above. And while most characters I will do, there are some features that I struggle with (wings/intricate horns or antlers/non-traditional anatomy/scale differences between 2 characters), but that doesn't mean I won't try. :)
Q: I paid you without noting you first because I have your paypal from a previous transaction. Will you still do my commission even if it hasn't been approved yet?
A; NO. I will not do ANY commissions without them first being proposed and approved. Only upon acceptance after the initial sketch is provided should you pay me. If you pay me before your commission is accepted you will be barred from future commissions.
Q: Can I trade products/merchandise for art?
A: No.
Q: Do you do art trades?
A: Not at this time.
Q: Can I use another means of payment besides Paypal?
A: No. I am currently only equipped to use Paypal.
Q: But I don't have paypal, can I pay you with a gift card/money card?
A: No. Paypal or bust. (This is mostly to assure that you are 18 yrs or older. Distributing pornographic materials to minors is ILLEGAL)
Q: I want to use someone else's character in a 2-character commission, is that ok?
A: You may ONLY use someone else's character in your commission IF you have the consent/permission of the other character's owner! I MUST HAVE DIRECT PROOF. "He/She said its ok" is not enough.
Q: If I paid you extra would you do something on your "won't draw" list?
A. No.
Q: How can I get free art from you?
A: I occasionally have free art raffles. I post about them in my journals or on my Twitter. Keep an eye out.
Q: Can I see a sketch or line-art of my commission before it is complete?
A: ABSOLUTELY. I will always send a finished sketch before accepting payment. If your image is colored you will get a colored sample as well.
Q: Can I request that my commission be privately livestreamed?
A: No. My livestreams are public and I cannot restrict access to viewers, especially NSFW content. I can however, livestream the coloring process or line-art process of SFW pieces upon request but it will not be exclusive or private. Occasionally I will stream content on discord, but this is exceptionally rare and I will NOT be giving out my discord at this time.
Q: I'm a viewer who did NOT commission you but a a friend/dating someone IN a commission of yours and I do NOT like the artwork. Can you please remove it?
A: No. If you are not the commissioner, or a consenting owner of an OC in an image the artwork legally belongs to myself and/or the individuals it features. If you ARE in the image and did not consent, please DM me immediately.
Q: I really like your adoptable species. Can I make my own?
A: NO. ALL OF MY ADOPTABLES ARE CLOSED SPECIES. My prices are really low though, so purchasing a customized adoptable should be easy.
