Make all the arguments you like over whether or not human being really can be naturally nocturnal, I just want to see numbers. See, I'm doin' a little study so please comment, shout or favorite the last piece I put up. Just please let you "night owl" self be known.

General | Posted 16 years ago I'm just all out of give-a-damn. I do not give a crap anymore. This shit is what it is and I'm so tired of beatin' that dead horse that I'm gonna have to find fresh road kill to kick around because I Am Done.
I'm not sure what that means. All I know is that Trying to do Anything is a total waste of time. It's not like I'm gonna quit drawin'. I'll be on that crutch 'til the day I die, for sure. It's tryin' be good at it and make it my life that ain't workin' out.
All the time, i see amazing artists go broke and unknown while hacks and liars soak up the rewards that should be going to those who actually give a shit.
I never wanted/expected to get rich or famous, but I see folks all the time who should be.
Damn,damn,damn,damn,damn.......shoot.

Interesting.....
General | Posted 16 years ago I was browsing around here and I came across a page that really made me think. The young lady whom the page belonged to was very clearly vocal about how she considered herself a human being. This made me wonder...how many folks out there really Don't consider themselves a "people"? How many folks identify with a creature so much that they no longer feel like they are a part of the human race?
I don't really think it would be a bad thing to think of one's self as being fox or cat-like. There have been cultures throughout time in which religious figures took on animal spirits or qualities. My question is; Are there folks here who really believe themselves to Be animals? At home are you a cat? At the grocery store, are you a cat? At the doctor's office, are you a cat?
I had just never really thought about it before...
I really do hope that my questions do not come off as insulting. I'm really just curious and have no preconceived notion of how I think or feel about someone who think that they are, in fact, an animal.
The idea is very new to me.

Wow!
General | Posted 16 years ago I can't thank everyone enough for the kind welcome to this site! I really wasn't expecting any specific reaction, but I am surprised at how nice and how enthusiastic everyone is.
I'm a pretty silly chick so you know I've had a tough go with the art world from the start (almost ten years ago).
Thank you so much for being so warm and friendly. Despite the stigma that can follow this subculture, I can honestly say that I've never seen a more tight-knit and welcoming community.
Thank you again.

General | Posted 16 years ago Hi, I'm new here.
I don't know you, you don't know me...So here's the deal; I love to draw and I love to paint and color and all that. I also grew up around wildlife biologists and exotic animals so you know I have a love for all things non-human (and humans too...sometimes).
I also went to school for fine arts and 2D animation....now where could I go to make use of these traits.....Hhmmmmm. Where are there folks who love critters with personality and nice drawings.......hhhhhmmmm
Oh Wait! Right here!
(It's late and I'm silly)
I'm glad to have found a place with so much art fun going on and I hope that folks out there like what I do and might like a few commissions.
I work fast, cheep, and ideas that aren't mine! well...mine too.
