General | Posted 13 years agoYeah I know I always come out against this sort of thing but I figure it must help a bit because people keep doing it so here goes.
My heart is a jerk.
So I'm currently interested (by interested I mean becoming increasingly emotionally attached to and not always by choice) to a few indeviduals. Now most of the time this isn't an issue. What makes it so are a couple factors in both my own and their lives. My issue being that I've been single for a while and have begun to feel lonely. (This on its own is strange given that I exist paradoxically as an emotionally distant and logical being who has this dependancy on affection, attention and company) but I digress. The real issue comes when we examine the three people that I pine for. The first in order of level of "pine" happens to be entirely un interested in my gender for any sort of emotional relationship beyond that of "friend". The second in the list happens to be happily mated and to my disadvantage to someone I happen to like! The third isn't so dramatic as the others, we just hardly get to talk so I'm not even sure he is fully aware of my feelings, not that I am all that certain of their levels myself.
In conclusion my heart is a sadistic asshole who enjoys toying with me.
And thus we come to the part where I ask: "Am I just a fool?"

General | Posted 13 years agoSo after much stressing out Arenanet got back to me within a day and I am quite happy about that. Still irritated that it was able to happen in the first place. Thankfully the only damage was my gold missing. In the grand scheme that is not such a big deal. Though another irritation arose when I tried to purchase some gems to replenish my gold supply and though my money was taken and confirmation email was recieved I was not delivered my gems. S all in all im not terribly thrilled with ArenaNet today.

Woke up this morning to an email from Arenanet stating that "Someone -hopefully you!- has requested to change the email address associated with your Guild Wars account." Well guess what? It -wasnt me!- Now I have to go through the lengthly proccess of putting in a support ticket to try and get my email changed back to what it should be.

General | Posted 13 years agoWell it was a bit earlier than expected but my time at my current residence is coming to an end. There were good time and bad but for the most part I enjoyed my time here. Almost three years. So now myself and my roommate Lash are looking for a new place near by. Hopefully a nice two bedroom with in unit washer/dryer. *fingers crossed* Unfortunately its a bit of a rush since my roommates had started looking before letting the rest of us know they had decided to move. Besides that small bit our relationship remains good. I will miss them and though I may wish that our time would have lasted longer I can respect their need to be on their own. Now on to the arduous task of slimming down my possessions and searching for a new and smaller apartment.

General | Posted 14 years agoSo it has recently come to my attention that certain schools within the MCPS (my home school system) in Maryland have been not only allowing but defending the distribution of 'ex-gay' propoganda which encourages students to 'seek reparative therapy and “transition out of a homosexual identity.” ' A good friend of mine has organized against this great social back-step.
