It‘s an advice i‘d like to give in general though. Please talk to people first, before you believe any rumors spread by people who dislike them !

…from furry at the moment
I‘m not sure if it‘s just a down or if there‘s something changing in me in general. I‘ve noticed how i’ve become slower and slower with art and i‘m just not as motivated as i used to be a while ago. It‘s always just short periods of boost and ideas and then i‘m kinda worn out again.

Maybe it‘s because my job has been increasingly exhausting as the personell situation has been especially harsh this year. Or it‘s because my life goals are starting to shift (thinking more and more about starting my own family and all). Maybe because art isn‘t my only hobby anymore. Maybe because i‘m not really truly belonging anywhere in the furry space, which i learned to be ok with, i‘m free but i also don‘t have no chains holding me back.
Maybe it‘s the season or just a combination of all these things.

I kinda wish i could suit, dance and have fun being a silly furry creature like i did last time in september but there isn‘t really a nearby event i know of. Maybe an evening like that could connect me back

Idk what i‘ll do with commissions next year tbh. Maybe i‘ll limit them to a minimal amount or just offer ych in the future. Right now it kinda doesn‘t give me the same good feelings as they used to and realising and accepting this is so hard… i worked so hard to be where i am right now and i‘ve gained so many wonderful friends and supporters and it‘s such an amazing feeling to know i‘d still have a second income option in case anything is happening to my main job - in the current times nothing unusual.

But i also feel like it‘s so unfair to my wonderful clients to not pour all my passion into their projects … i don‘t want to have their money if i can‘t give 100% back. I don‘t want to become one of these artist who start to become lazy or impersonal (is that a word) like a brand or company. i‘m lucky enough i don‘t need to too.

It‘s conflicting feelings inside me and maybe this will become stupid in a few weeks or months and all i needed was a break and a new clear vision of what i truly want and expect of myself in the community

just deactivated my Bluesky Account (as that's possible, otherwise i'd just have deleted it immediately) as i'm sadly still struggling with using (scroll-based) social media platforms.

even though i tried my best to only follow people i like and i always saw nice stuff on my feed - my body or soul seems to have developed some sort of allergy against the whole concept of social media platforms like this. i just always feel so bad after being online there. x_x

the only place i truly feel comfortable is telegram, altough without premium it became much more annoying with all the bots and spam accounts sadly :c
the internet truly became a less and less enjoyable space in the last 10-15 years. it's sad, but i guess i'm alright. i know my weaknesses and i broke out of the addictive systems the big companies are trying to get everyone into as much as i can.

i can promise though, as long as i enjoy furry, doing furry art and i have time, my telegram channel + my discussion channel will live! even if that means having to kick 10 bots manually every single day!

I really didn‘t know ya‘ll like sharks so much. The shark melon grip ych i did for my friend hene was supposed to be just a silly little thing but so many people were interested in it??
Even my own oc vanya seems to be liked already !

I never knew big buff shark women are so loved around here and well… i‘m super happy about that fact 😂 we all need more big buff furry (scaly?) women in our lives. Especially in macro settings…. Which i currently enjoy drawing and thinking about so much.

The most ideas i actually get from YOU , the idea with the melon grip was born in my telegram discussion group. Without it vanya wouldn‘t exist and without it i wouldn‘t have figured out that that‘s what you like too 😄

People are so much more than what they decide to show online. i could never tell anyone what to do and what not to do. Even if we disagree with certain topics - and believe me, we will, i will never cancel anyone solely because of that.

Whooo! Thanks to all of your comments to my last journal i realised that there ARE still plenty of people left who do actually care and look at what i upload here!
THANK YOU ALL for your feedback, thanks to them i was able to make the decision that i'll keep uploading here x3

some of you pointed out that the gallery system on sites like this is just superiour to fast-living social media sites like x, instagram and similar. that's why i finally took my time to properly sort my artwork in folders , as this is definitely a nice feature i should make use of better !!! this way it should be easier to find specific artworks and link them to your friends. something that's almost impossible on other sites :'(

oh and i wondered if you think it'd be good to make additional folders for trope related artworks like macro/micro, paws, pooltoy, transformation,..? these are my personal favourites but it's not like i draw them thaaat often. what do you think, is it worth it?

i will probably keep it same as i have the last few months and only upload the more polished artwork over here. you should still definitely check out my telegram channel if you don't want to miss out on everything else. i sometimes share exclusive ych ,raffle or request posts over there, it's much easier to get in contact with me (there's a fun little discussion channel too) and sometimes i also share some more IRL-related stuff via channel-storys :-3

Asking because the thought of abandoning fA came to my mind because i don‘t use it super much myself and i wonder if it‘s worth the work!

Is there someone who only follows me here and would be sad seeing me go? Remember that i‘m most active on my telegram channel, this is also the place i wanna center my attention on most. I also have bluesky, which i‘m unsure yet how to handle.

I‘ve been using furaffinity for almost 10 years now so this definitely wouldn‘t be an easy decision but i always try to be as efficient with me having to spend time in online spaces as possible. I know for the sake of getting seen it‘s not smart to reduce my online presence to only 1 place but beeing seen is not my number 1 priority anymore.

I still don‘t want to make anyone who enjoys my work and doesnt have access to telegram sad. So please let me know down below or via dm if you would be sad (be honest pls!)
