Start small, think grand.

So, was talking with friends about Zelda, and how Zelda 2 was one of my favorites. After the flamewar, I thought on it, and figured that, when I get the time to, I'm gonna do some covers of the soundtrack for practice.

Might not be the greatest, warning beforehand, but hey, gave you guys the heads-up

Thought about it, and when I get the time, I think I'm gonna tackle some tracks from Killer Instinct 1 and 2. Not sure how, some'll prolly be rearranged covers, some'll be personal revisions of the original tracks, and some will be remixes.

I still want to tackle a redux of the "Obligatory Megaman Megamix" I did a few years back as well ( - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1783344/ - ), pretty much in the same manner; all around, this should be fun, or really horrible lol

For fun on the side, was wondering what you guys'd like heard remixed. People here like video game remixes, so I figured hey, VG remixes can be fun!

I'll prolly do a couple, so throw out some possible leads and I'll try my hand at remixing. Can be from the NES, PlayStation, DDR, Final Fatassy, etc., etc., whatev

Thinkin on going back and redoing some of the older tracks in the Gallery/Scraps. Any of my stuff come to mind that you'd like to hear redone/expanded/remixed?

Yanno, the lil whoooosh's that you hear in Dance/Trance/House tracks, great for fillers, openers, buildups, peaks/climaxes (giggity) etc.

Simple white noise, seriously.

If ya know about filtering, try running a band pass filter along a strip of simple noise. If you want a bit more color to the sound, add more resonance to the filter. Automate or hand-knob to what you want, also try things like sidechaining and gating for varied effects. Also try running a reverb filter or a delay (or both) for a "dreamier" effect.
