Planning on drawing an amateur comic
Posted 13 years agoThis comic is about athena having sex with pegasus and her pet warrior dog(lets just assume she has one for herself, er hem.....)from peeping them got jealous and plans to betray her by pledging himself to Hades and kill pegasus and get Athena for himself.
Pegasus actually escaped from hercules's training to visit athena.
Dog's name: Adrian (the dark one) and honestly thats my name.
Note: Zeus has alot of children of different species so they look kinda mixed species.
One of the things to fill my incoming 3 months holiday.
i think hercules needs to go for the 12 labour so pegasus is under her care and they secretly fall in love. ooouuuhhhhh
Chapter 1: Submission

A lesson learnt
Posted 13 years agoI learnt that it is best only to observe how others draw to improvise your picture and try it your way. If you try to be that artist, you end up drawing shitty pictures and thats the whole trouble i am in since two days ago. Confusing my way of drawings and ended up dissatisfied.
Draw not for the sake of drawing or putting the picture on paper., draw slowly and draw when you have idea of what to draw.
Think before you draw and dont worry what comes next .However, think the physics in the art as accurate as possible to get an accurate piece of picture.
Think simple, think 3D and draw neat and PATIENCE!!!
i always want to finish my pictures fast therefore ended up like the submissions last month, shaky lines and crappy alignment. thats not a good start. "Never be satisfied with your picture...."-quoted
Never ever do that. Finish slowly and draw correctly with focus and patience.!!!

Great plans
Posted 13 years agoI plan to redraw most of my old drawing drawn in A4 papers, years and years ago.
Missed those days of drawing, it's in those bags and drawers somewhere in my tiny room.

how are you satisfied with your drawing or when you know its good? is it an instinct or experience?
Oh that's easy...the answer to that is I'm NEVER satisfied with my work. I always go back and look at it, wondering what I could have done differently...that line...that color....that arm....that accessory...how could I have made this image better? How would another artist have handled the same image? What should I have done to push this thing over the edge from merely "good" to "holy shit that's AWESOME!".
In my experience the only time I know an image is "done" is when I literally can't see any other changes to make to the image. This doesn't mean the image is "perfect", but it does mean that I've reached the edge of my current knowledge, and that I need more in order to see what I've done wrong. Will I gain that knowledge by sitting there and staring at the same image for hours? Hell no. I'll gain it by moving on and working on another piece. That's when you an image is "as good as you can currently make it".
No artist should ever, ever, EVER be satisfied with their work. Because a satisfied artist is a bored, unhappy, unproductive one. Michaelangelo said, on his own death bed- "Ancora Imparo...", which translates to "I am still learning". This act I believe was a message to every artist that would follow him that they should never stop learning, no matter how "great" they become.

Inconsistensies in my picture.
Posted 13 years agoHonestly, i hate the inconsistensies in my drawing style. I need to bring a balance to it otherwise its all messed up.
Need to keep with one style.
Sometimes when i looked back at the older pictures, i just forgot how i even drew that. Maybe i was like drawing in trance. LOL
Today, i draw like this and tomorrow its all different and i totally dislike it.
need to find the balance.
