That personality thing everyone is doing.
General | Posted 14 years agoOh fine. Here's that Personality thing that everyone has been doing. BUT! With added commentary from me! 8D Anything added by me is noted with a + in front of it.
Unsettled
-You may be comfortable on your home turf, but you have a tendency to be self-conscious in an unfamiliar environment. While you're usually at ease with your friends, you can be a little skittish around strangers.
-You usually don't feel at home in unfamiliar settings or with new people. When you get rattled, you don't necessarily recover instantly.
+Too true. >_<
Self-Contained
-You like to stick to your own business and leave the power struggles to others; you know who you are and what you believe in, but you don't see any reason to impose your values on everyone else.
-You generally don't get involved in organizing or motivating people, and you don't feel the need to always be seen as a big public decision-maker.
+USUALLY true, but not always.
Cooperative
-You enjoy teamwork, play well with others, and prefer getting along to winning.
-You're not compelled to win every contest nor to be right all the time.
+Haha. I hate teamwork. I like to get shit done by myself. Usually. For things like L4D(2) and stuff along those lines, I make an exception.
Passionate
-You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
-You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
+Yuppers. Sounds about right... Kinda sorta.
Reserved
-You are somewhat shy, or at least unwilling to spend all your time socializing. With you it's true that "still waters run deep," which is why many of your acquaintances never get to know you well.
-You are not always ready to talk at the drop of a hat. Whether you're in the office or at a party, you're not likely to be found gabbing away in the middle of a group of people.
+Yeah. Sounds right to me.
Acquiescent
-You are comfortable in your own skin and don't need to throw your weight around. You'll often choose to be the one who is told what to do rather than the one who's doing the telling, and you sometimes avoid confrontations even if it means that you won't get your way.
-You aren't interested in making others bend to your will or in always dishing out criticism. You're not a pushy person, and you like it that way.
+Half true. Sometimes it's good to have people bend to your will.
Laid Back
-You prefer to do your own thing, in your own way, rather than attempt to force your will, or your ego, on a group. You're happy working on your own, taking your sweet time, and focusing on the job at hand.
-You're not pushy. You're not interested in imposing your will on others, taking charge of every situation, being the first to raise your hand in class, or insisting on being the winner of every argument.
+Yuppers. 8D I love to take my dear sweet time. :3
Inefficient
-You like to live your life without plans, and when you do have a plan you're happy to ignore it. While you're not necessarily opposed to getting work done, you're very good at finding other ways to spend your time.
-You are not anal, or even particularly well organized. You don't enjoy sticking to your plans, and don't mind when you don't finish on time.
+One hell of a personality, ain't it? :3 Inefficient, lazy arse. That's me~!
Slapdash
-You believe things will turn out fine even if they don't go precisely according to plan. As far as you're concerned, it's not the end of the world if a project falls short of perfection.
-You don't feel compelled to dot every "i" and cross every "t."
+RIGHTO! Stuff doesn't need to be OCD perfect ALL THE TIME... But sometimes it does. o3o
Distracted
-You have a lot going on in your life, which means you don't always get to things when you'd like to. You mean well, but sometimes you lose track of what you're doing, and it can take a while to find your place. The good news is that you can usually summon the will to keep going until the job is done.
-You don't always start a job with the utmost enthusiasm, lock in immediately on what's important, do a great job, or finish quickly.
+Huh? What? Did you say something?

General | Posted 14 years ago3:00pm: Wake up to dad yelling at me to mow the lawn. (Didn't do it. 8D )
4:15: Get ready for work.
5:00: Leave for work.
5:08: Return home to grab forgotten phone.
5:15: Sit in Taco Bell/Pizza Hut drive thru for 10 minutes waiting forever.
5:30: Go to clock in.
5:30-7:35: Constant stream of rude, annoying, assholish customers.
7:50: Break time. Yay. The one good time at work.
8:10: Return from break (a little late, but oh well. 8D ) to find a jackass customer from earlier waiting at my counter.
-- First thing out of his mouth when I get back: "Put the money back on my card." No politeness of any kind about it. Turns out the show he'd gone to had sound errors and went silent for about 10 minutes or so. He was just the first of the large group coming out to get refunds/free passes.
8:45: All of the refunds and passes are taken care of. Got yelled at for asking a manager to bring some pens out to box when he had some time available. (Was later apologized to at least for that.) About half of these customers had been rude assholes, so he was in a bit of a bad mood.
9-10:05: Continue serving annoying customers.
10:20: Close up, start helping clean up concessions, because OF COURSE, Deb wouldn't let them get to cleaning until 10. =.=
10:50: Leave. Thank fucking god. The customers today can go die in a fire.

9 things you may not have known about Nikolas Reese
General | Posted 15 years agoI got tagged by
Ainoko...
1. His first name is based off my name. I changed one letter and removed another to get his name from mine.
2. His last name randomly came to me, but has since gained a sort of silly reference. Reese is like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. His fur is brown and orangeish, and looks a bit like a Reese's.
3. First character with a piercing of any kind.
4. Is nearly identical in personality to me.
5. First character with glasses. I wear glasses too.
6. First character under 6 feet in height. He's closer to my height. ono I'm short.
7. First Bat character, created because I effin' love bats. :3
8. First character with an unnatural hair color. Blue. Yay blue!
9. He has a dick.
Tagging: Nobody, because I don't feel like it.

100 Watchers? O_o;
General | Posted 15 years agoWow. Uhm... I know I haven't said thanks for watching to a lot of you... So... THANKS FOR WATCHING! ^.^
I'm actually planning on writing some more and practicing drawing more, so maybe you'll see something new that's actually from ME some time, instead of commissions. Though, I still will be getting commissions. As soon as I get finished with my "Winners" list, I'mma slow down considerably. >.> Getting commissions is... addictive. >w<;;

Gentlemen and ladies, I present Kiuro's hats.
General | Posted 15 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1831361/
Please help a friend out. $13 or $14 gets you a nifty hat! :3 There's examples on his journal page of them.
Please at least consider looking, and pass the word on! He's got some bills that need paying.

General | Posted 16 years agoI'm bored to death tonight, so a journal update is in order.
Parts one through four of Cats and Wolves are completed and I'm working on part five at the moment, but progress is slow. I'm having a bit of a creative block. Don't worry though, I promise to complete it.
I would like to hear from some of my watchers, do they think I'm good? What do they think I need to improve on? What am I doing good on?
For those that don't know, I work at a movie theater. I'm a ticket seller, box office guy, whatever you want to call me. Anyways, today was a good day. First off, I finished book four of the Demonata series. It's called Bec. I recommend this series to people. They're actually pretty interesting. You'll have to choke your way through book three, but I thought one, two, and four were really good. Second, I didn't have to take the call of "Johnny Walker" today! Huzzah! More about him in a second. Third, I heard the funniest thing from my friend. I'll tell you that after I tell you about Johnny.
Okay, so Johnny. He is this really irritating guy that visits every week at our theater, usually on Friday or Saturday. The reason he's irritating is because he's one of those over-friendly, perverted old guys who have nobody to talk to. So what does he do? He calls the theater to talk to the employees. His favorite is Alexa, a girl who works there once in a while. Johnny's phonecalls are dreaded by every employee in our theater. We've told him numerous times that he can call the movie line, the automated thing to find out show times. Though he still calls, and calls, and calls... He's also very open about his opinions. He called and asked what was playing one week when I had the misfortune of answering the call. He asked for the new movies. This wasn't too long ago, so Land of the Lost had just come out. I listed that and he instantly said "Will Ferrel should be shot." Now, I just was like... "oookay..." And he went on some rant about why he should be shot. The problem is, he always says "Just say yes, you know it's true." If you try to disagree with him or sound iffy about it. Anyways... moving on. Johnny is called "Johnny Walker" because he does have a walker. He's actually really goofy looking. He wears a leather vest and usually a green tshirt. He sometimes has a hat I think, and he has this big bug-eyes. Though the most defining thing about him is his moustache. That thing is HILARIOUS! It's a thin little moustache that sticks straight out a couple of inches like little spikes. Trust me, it's hard not to laugh when you see it for the first time.
And the funny story now. My friend was working box some day like Wednesday or Thursday and this 70ish looking guy comes in with two little kids. My bud asks him what he's seeing, and the guy says "Megafuck." He realizes he's wrong and tries again, "Megatruck." My friend still doesn't have any idea what he's talking about. "Transmorphers or something like that, I dunno." Was what he ended up saying. The guy was trying to see Transformers 2. I wasn't working this day, but my friend told me about it and we were cracking up over it for a good while. Megafuck. How the hell do you get that name out of Transformers? My friend was thinking he might've meant to say something like Megatron since that's the only one in there with Mega- anything.
Anyways, I'm bored and feeling hopeful. Here's a wishlist that I know will never be filled, but I can have my hopes, can't I?
My wishlist:
Art from darkgoose.
Art from tictac.
Art of Alexander James Grant, the main character in Cats and Wolves.
Art of Brandon Valer, Alex's boyfriend in Cats and Wolves.
Art of Tricia Halmont, the original werewolf in Cats and Wolves.
Art of Jessica Tomson, a girlfriend of Alex's in Cats and Wolves.
One million dollars, not a penny more or less.
A 360 or PS3. I made a bad choice by wanting the Wii... :( At least there's Smash Bros.
A girlfriend/boyfriend.
Some more friends.
A new mother, preferrably a non-schizophrenic one. (Dead serious, she has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia.)
