i know i am note very active on here. given many things going on in life i have neglected to post journals. i fear that may continue. however as is i am doing as good as i can. i have been more active on other platforms such as secondlife or NeosVR.

ill try to remember to post more on here but if i dont just know i probably am being a bit neglectful of posting here.

first thing is a bummer. i have a bad cold.

now that that's out of the way id like to say that i for one would love the chance to go to another furry convention this year. But idk what local conventions run October through December in the Toronto area.
i did propose a local event for some friends and i to attend. suits optional of course as it is likely to be busy and is outdoors. as it is the event is a charity concert being hosted by the Canadian Pacific Railroad corporation with all proceeds and donations going to local charities. i had propesed fursuiting there as i thought it would be a good way to cheer up the younger members of the community and maybe get some decent photos and video.

i had thought of going to see the back to the future trilogy now that the theater near me is re-running it but im not sure yet if i will go or not.

anywho this dragon has stuff to do ill write again later ^.=.^

its about time i typed in this journal thingy again...

where to start?
oh yes . i had a blast at the Burlington fur walk with dakotah, conreaght and everyone else who showed up. me and dakotah had a "popular" bus ride to and from ... lots of children wanting to say hello whilst their parents try to get them seated. aside from that and the sunburnt head i got i would love to do that again.

on the 3rd of October I'll be going to the Hamilton comic con. 'nother first year for a new convention that looks to be a blast for ones bucks ~$46 for the whole weekend plus spending money.
later this month Sparky looks to be having another meet at Adventure Village in Burlington. i for one had fun at the last one despite us getting rained out. though id like it if this time we could go to hutch's for fish and chips instead of union burger.

also i am hoping to go to islington fur meet if i can get the time off of work... which should be easy as long as nothing else pops up.

anywho thats all i have to say for now. ill hopefully type out another journal sometime towards the end of this year.

Yaay less than five days till I go to my first con. Double yaay that I got Friday off of work too. I am hoping to meet a few fellow furries and dwaggies there and maybe check out the works of art and events. Also maybe a panel or two. BTW I am sure no one will recognize me as I don't have a suit yet!
I am hoping to save up money to have one made locally not in the u.s.. No offence but I prefer to buy locally made things as often it saves on shipping.

Finally I got my paws on what I must say is something like the swiss army knife of Android based gaming/(and with a bluetooth keyboard) productivity devices. Despite the poor ratings of this Nvidia shield. I find it very much suits my needs for on the go gaming and writing what with all the emulators and productivity apps available for download. This and my Bluetooth keyboard mean I can sit and write just about anywhere the two will fit. Plus I can remotely play most of my PC games too on my wifi at home. (BTW an Nvidia gtx650 or better is needed to remotely play games from PC)

Aside from what i got i also swapped shifts around at my real job. No more friday afternoons.
I also finally tried my luck at djing again which failed miserably due to my isp having issues with port throttling. Still i made some income on SL for the attempt and I hope next time goes way better.

Later today I will be going out to dinner with my sister... All a dragon can eat Chinese food buffet. (yaaaay \o/ ) too bad I gotta head to work after. No doubt I'll be stuffed, tired and possibly irritable over having to work after eating. Still I am seeing a good week ahead despite the cold weather.

One tool for gaming i have been using for ages is Teamspeak 3... lately though i have been wanting my own voice server for ts. Today i went to their web page finally and downloaded the software to run the at home windows x64 version of the ts3 voice server. After some hard work and getting nowhere i googled how to set it up (yaay for google). google was a very big help so much as a matter of fact that i had the server running in less than 15 minutes. After testing i discovered i had to port forward the necessary port on my router but that was a quick fix so YAAY! now its up and running.

I find lately that "work" for me has been a ripe pain in the ass cause of this years flu bug forcing every co-worker of mine to take time off (yes i dealt with the flu too) . That and the fact that my employer keeps losing managment staff due to maternity issues is running not just me ragged. I have applied for time off to attend Furnal Equinox and so i can play hard and relax... here's hoping it goes well.

Seems there are those few griefers on secondlife who are trying to haunt the one club i dj at on there. Well not any more lol i kicked their asses off the simulator and banned them for good... and yes i did report them to an administrator whom i hope bans them by their ip addresses.

Also if you plan on joining secondlife ... be warned there are extremist furry haters on SL some of which go to the extent of individually griefing a particular furry or scaly.
