Lots of things have happened so far here in Vicksburg, Mississippi. I've been in a Sonic while someone pulled out a gun and held up a register, I've been in a walmart while two people were fistfighting, I've seen a guy running a mile with me and have a seizure, landing on his face and shattering his nose. I've even had the opportunity to get drunk as hell and make an ass of myself. But yeah, shit's actually really fun down here.

Also I like whattaburger :3

It took me like 30 minutes to figure out how to write this journal. I do like new FA, though.

Also I support fat bunnies. But not katmomma. Her art is most of the time very bland, from what I've seen on dA.

Life has been treating me well

idk. I have a job again. Moving to Mississippi in August for a year. Don't really know what I want to do with my life still, which is causing me grief (well, I actually do technically at any given time, but it changes weekly). Haven't uploaded SHIT because I am dirt poor and can't afford processing. I have 2 rolls of 120mm back from the lab and in the shop I just need the $30+ to buy them. I also have 2 36exp rolls of slide film shot through my viv that I want to get processed, but I have no fucking money and don't want them to just sit in the shop for me to procrastinate buying them. So yeah I don't get to shoot with my lomo till all my processing is caught up FRUNZ ;;

Of course all will be cross processed in c-41 for outrageous color saturation and shifts and all that fun stuff :D

definitely going to be shooting with my holga and my rangefinder a lot more. they make a great team :D

Mmk, so, after the first rave glove photoshoot, I learned a few things.

-if you can't see the person using the gloves, it looks like one of those stupid colorful things people who can't draw make in photoshop or whatever

-keeping shit in focus is hard but a must

-120mm film sucks ass for shoots like this. 12 shots is not enough, and the larger format really doesn't do shit when the purpose of the shots is to make it smaller and post it on the web

-there needs to be something else in the shot other than the lights. Or just like previously stated, it looks like fake wanabe artist crap

-if you expose for anything longer than 4 seconds, there are so many damn streaks of color that shit looks clustered and lame

So, I picked up a roll of 36 shot 35mm slide, and am going to redo the photoshoot inside my friend Taylor's room, which has lots of cool neon delicacies. I'll be shooting with my Voigtlaander Vito CLR rangefinder, which should be a bit better at focusing in the dark, due to the rangefinder style of focusing. I still don't have a tripod, and have to set my camera on a chair or box or something and tilt it by cramming paper and stuff under it :( Oh well. Such is life~

Finally got those shots scanned. They didn't turn out AS COOL as I wanted, but they still kick ass :D
I bought a new Holga 120FN. Can't wait to put a couple rolls through it! And of cource post the shots here :3
