WARNING! There's been an increase in fraud
General | Posted a year agoDue to the increased incidence of fraud, I would like to warn you to be careful and not to fall for the tricks of people who want to deceive you.
Lets follow some rules to protect ourselves and avoid problems.
1 - I work alone from this page only. I don't have any assistants/managers, I don't participate in market accounts. When buying an art/YCH slot, I will only write to you from this page to arrange order details and payment methods.
2 - My methods of contact - mostly private messages (notes) on furaffinity.net
I can ask for your nickname on telegram / discord for convenience. But I will never write to you myself in another messenger, but only after a personal suggestion in correspondence here in the notes.
3 - About payment methods, I accept payment on Hypolink and Easystart. I always inform about it in the description of slots/YCH
4- If you have any questions, email me in the notes, I'll always answer you! I may not reply immediately, so you may have to wait a bit.
P.S. Public comments - even if not containing personal information, help set you up as targets because scammers now know you're interested in whatever is being offered - plus if you just plaster your contact info everywhere you'll likely be bothered more than someone who keeps it to private communications.
Also! IF you DO enter something - check first that the artist has posted the results - if not, click through to the profile [where its' safe to do so like FA] to double check that the person contacting you is who they claim to be. Some people will make accounts that steal the icon of someone and mimic the name - but the profile is blank or too new to be the artist in question. Even if the name looks 100% correct this could save you from a scam [Legit had it almost happen to be but I noticed one small oddity in the name, clicked through and sure enough it was NOT the artist in question.]
ALSO! Please message artists about accounts trying to impersonate them ESPECIALLY to scam people. I've seen a lot of bewares about artists where it was actually a scammer pretending to be them and the good name of the artist was harmed in the process because they had no idea someone was stealing their art and adopts to scam people while using a VERY similar name.
So example here would be like I'm "AkumaTheD34d" and they're "AkumπTheD34d" ... very similar but it's a special character [granted those don't always work for username creation but it makes the point].
