How have I been doing?
I'll repeat - No major changes. As before, there has been some S&Box updates, the game engine is still being worked on. There are unofficial WIP posts of the 'official' sandbox game mode being developed by Garry on S&Box. That's about it. I tracked Director's Cut, the "lone developer (and supposedly team)", KiwifruitDev, still working on Director's Cut. He's still trying to work on it. Some of his recent discord group posts included "making Director's Cut functional for keyframing animations over its visual appearance". Working everyday kinda helps time go by faster waiting on all this.

I've tried taking the time to update the source code to my online (island) home. It's very time expensive to do since I work a lot. I still have my ways to continue long term maintenance of my online existence in one way or another. The existing code base I have is still solid enough to last many years. That's the main thing. Never will I use idiotic art sites such as Deviantart ever again as long as I'm a green pony. That's always been something very well embedded. If the time comes, the source code gets too old, and my online home has to be re-built from scratch, then that is what I will do in the future. The thought planning has come across to me to attempt building my own art booru from scratch. Maybe that will materialize at some point.

That aside, currently I have 3148+ selectable arts/webms plus the 200+ art commission collection of mine which continues to keep growing!

How have I been doing?
Merry (late) Christmas and Happy New Year!
No major changes. As before, there has been some S&Box updates, the game engine is still being worked on. I tracked Director's Cut, the "lone developer (and supposedly team)", KiwifruitDev, was very evasive on any direct development progression on the source filmmaker animation tool extension for source 1 mods. I don't expect anything different after dealing with the old gmod/sfm community for a decade honestly. Valve also hasn't "official blessed the project" so it's just another 'fan game'situation. I know, it's pretty bad right now for anything old source filmmaker related at this point in time. How many years has it been to "waiting on S&Box", almost five? I have been incubating my S&Box key since 2021 as I previously mentioned.

It is what it is right now, I have to let the 'fandom machine' I call it these days run its course and watch as cartoon pony blender artists do the art for me for a little while. I don't like it, but maybe that's what I had coming for some of my decade old internet choices I once made. I just sit here and watch deviantart turn into an "AI" slop fest. I have still thought about giving that page one more "haha you still can't catch me idiots!" comment on another alt, but this helps to hold the peace as long as it exists so there isn't a point.

I have my path for creating decent animations in S&Box set. I don't go around being a "keyboard warrior" like I "might have" once a decade ago. If people like Inverted Shadow (who pinged me over bluesky in recent times) and other old gmod/sfm (g4 mlp cartoon pony) community people don't want to go outside, touch grass, get a job that's on them. I'll continue doing what I enjoy when the time comes in one way or another.

Bluesky - I might have some other plans for it at some point, but I doubt they will ever materialize. It's like saying "I know, let's open up another epickitty discord group!" - very funny and cute.

How have I been doing?
There has been some S&Box updates, the game engine is still being worked on. Nothing new to note right now. I still have my S&Box key, incubating since 2021. I have yet to see the various "S&Box Filmmaker" modules in the game editor materialize. Graph editor anyone?

This will be a short rant about my recent counter strike 2 source 2 filmmaker animation I released. It's pretty dead I'll be straight up. I can see it isn't ponified enough, and/or the source filmmaker is badly aged, or I got old, or some of all the above. I get the vibe few pony people care anymore. I also have found out a good amount of the population remains infected in the ways of "deviantart 2013 era". "oh no it's HIM he has a BAD history!" Honestly, grow up. I already grew up in the form of, 'go through and cleanse the "infection"' through code. Come to me (or my online presence) like any other ordinary pony, or face the consequences. It is that simple. I think eventually - there should be no people at all, but the art itself. That is what The Official EpicKitty54/Mod_24 Website strives to be honestly. It aims to eliminate all social interaction, and have nothing left but the art itself. The true solution to all the problems.

How have I been doing?
There has been some S&Box updates, the game engine is still being worked on. There are some concerns that the "S&Box filmmaker" is being phased out. We don't know if that is true or not. All of these things are still WIP in development. I will repeat what I previously said. The "second coming" of valve gaming community machinima will not fully come to be until there is a S&Box filmmaker. Source 2 filmmaker is still limited to some capacity. All it does is run in 64-bit like it should have a decade ago, and that it can render audio and image sequences. S2FM is more manual, and more punishing to the average sfm animator/user if you make a mistake inside of it. You can only use the source 2 filmmaker if you are a true source filmmaker veteran and really know what you are doing inside of it.

For 2024, I have a bluesky. That link can be found on my website to my bluesky. Funny enough, I have already had some "infected" individuals try to ping me on the platform. My bluesky is automatically considered as "deviantart 2013 era restricted internet airpsace" If I am even approached in the incorrect way, questions will not be asked. This is 2024 now, not 2013. Either you will grow up and come to me like any other ordinary pony, or face the consequences. I do not care how "horsefamous" you might happen to be.

I continue to track S&Box on a daily basis, even when I have successfully got a port of my model of anthro rainbow dash into counter strike 2 source 2 filmmaker, that does not mean to rest. What happened to SFM production Mod_24?
I was processing what happened with  RoxasPlayerX aka RainbowBlurr. Nah jk I recovered pretty quick thanks to another friend. In reality, I'm living the lost magics of 2013 era as if it wasn't ever disrupted by the old gmod/sfm community. This does not mean any changes on the following: I still remain on defense for future potential 'unforeseen consequences' of that era. There are still those out there that might wish me harm; they must be dealt with if it ever flares up again for any 'reason' true or not. This is the exact reason why there will never be any direct social features on my island unless it's AI related. Even then, I'm a busy green pony. I maintain this island when I have the time to do so. This island represents peace from the old gmod/sfm community and its future. As long as it remains as it is and is not bothered, there will be peace.

This is a short announcement journal - due to a recent server migration that occurred with the pony side of the art/webm videos, .webM and .mp4 support has been added. If your mobile device does not play back video, do not fear, a downloadable .webM video format will be a selectable option for all videos powered by an art booru. Server migration results in the required re-indexing of videos. The mobile compatible .mp4 versions may not appear until a few days later from when this announcement was written. What happened to SFM production again I thought you were back Mod_24?
Sorry, going back to sleep mode again. In an "unexpected" turn of events,  RoxasPlayerX aka RainbowBlurr, decided to blindly up and leave. "It's not your fault" they said, but I don't really buy it. I've had about 10 years of this same loop again where people just eventually hit their expiration date and well, expire. It's a one way trip my friend, "it ain't your fault either" but that's life. If you're gonna tell me that "you'll always be there for me" then 2 years later you're suddenly not, may as well revive pinkflod768 while you're at it. The consequence, demotivation whoope! It's not bad enough that the old source filmmaker is in a bad state right now. Maybe if 15ai actually comes back online there could be a chance another source filmmaker animation gets done.

It's not all doom and gloom, where one falls, another one comes to take their place. I've been given a lot of support from another fan who has gotten me connected to another pony blender animator and modeler. I might still actually have a chance to have some proper models made for S&Box along with some other really special goodies coming soon as of when this was typed out.

Wasn't there a way to support you again so I can get animations?
Yes, but that got locked back down to "verified people only". No one can send me funds not even these verified individuals. In short - it was attacked. That's as far as I will ever say what happened. The peeps who attacked, you know who you are and why you did it. As for me, I quote: "I know that there is always a choice to drop ponies, get a new online name, animate what the general population actually wants to see. What is the fun in all that? I made my choices; the SFM community made their choices - live with it." Whatever was in question has been since removed off of public community boorus and isn't distributed on a wide scale or making any form of money any longer. Your demands are met and there isn't anymore discussion - Do NOT try that again on me. I honestly have no interest anymore talking with said communities. I'm actually not even sure where there are boundaries anymore. The thing about having your own place to go to, you forget there ever were these problems.

So ... what happens now?
Well for starters it's simple, I'm completely harmless leave me alone now. Whatever happened a decade ago now is expired motives. You cannot send me money as now I have approximately 860+ "followers" of who knows who's watching me. On top of that old SFM/pony sfm community - you won! You got me all cornered up on an island of an existence that you never hear or see from what more do you want?!?

EpicKitty, what happened to SFM?
That's dead. There's always the 0.1% chance, but you're going to need an animation keyframe pipeline in S&Box in order to revive me. I live on my island now, that's what the old sfm community/pony sfm community wanted all along right?

How have I been doing?
Working, waiting for S&Box with a S&Box key that's well over a year old and still active as I log on the game everyday to see how its development is coming along. "Playtesting" continues.

Is good you should check it out if you haven't. My Derpibooru UI browser has now evolved with the ability to store basic local info (obviously not any of your own information. It's not sarcastic, there's never a form to fill out, if you're of the old sfm community/pony sfm community and still don't believe it just because it has epickitty54 on it, sucks to be you I guess that you didn't grow up). So what this means, it only stores a list of recently searched Derpi art/webms, if you had certain tabs open or not, etc.

I have a pretty sizable list of different artists who have drawn and/or rendered enough art for me to have their own art galleries. That list includes:
 Galaxxxart ,  OERN ,  OppaiOppaiOppai ,  Mod_24 , and  Omny87
A few other artists are included, but don't necessarily have their own section for one reason or another:  JustMeGabeNewell ,  WispysWorkshop ,  Strype and many more that I do not fully remember off the top of my head. So I still highly encourage you to go visit my site.

How have I been doing?
Working, waiting for S&Box to happen, same usual. S&Box "playtesting" continues. Go to my YouTube community tab to read about it in more detail.

My personal crown jewel of the epickitty web app has been getting better. Under "The Good Place" (the only tab I will update the most often until machinima becomes viable again), there are now over 460+ Derpibooru art pics you can choose from. That number will only continue to exponentially grow. I can manage up to 1,000,000+ arts with the design structure I have with it and it will still keep on rolling, insane! Oh,  oppaioppaioppai and yours truly  Mod_24 got an art gallery category filter on my website. Most of every artist that I commission fairly often, or draw/render art for my green pony/horse often enough will eventually get one. If you draw my green pony/horse for the heck of it, I'll probably grant you a free art gallery category filter.

Of course, Derpibooru has to keep their end of the bargain. For the hits I took in the sfm community/pony sfm community for being the wrong place, the wrong time on that wretched site of an existence, DeviantArt, back in 2013, I get to keep using their API freely. I follow all the rules of course, as a software developer, I take good care of my API access as if I actually owned the database myself. I wouldn't ever do anything to damage the database itself, I have no reason to and I never would. Do I still despise the sfm community, pony sfm community for the un necessary social damages done to me? Yes. I still cannot go to say, NexGen sfm community, or Aeridic Core's sfm community as myself and not be bothered by someone. I wouldn't be surprised if both of them have me banned anyways. On the other hand, touching a database such as e621, not ever with a 10 foot pole. Any other site, who knows if they got computer viruses ewwww.

My web app though has actually been helping me a lot in my coding exercises in real life. Of course, there are a few more design changes I could consider doing in the future, but very few even visit and I built the site mostly for myself. If I'm satisfied, then it's good and doesn't need major changes. If you do visit my website and have feedback, please do share in the comments. How have I been doing?
Another same as usual. I've been spending a lot more time developing my own website over animating in source filmmaker. I still need S&Box source 2 filmmaker. I still am actively tracking/"play testing" S&Box. That is how it has been everyday for the last 6+ months of me getting a coveted S&Box key and "maintaining it" the best I possibly can. I am aware that can evaporate on any given day. S&Box's development and me having "dev preview" access can change at anytime.

I listened to the feedback I was given since last journal:
-  Demonguy "Your new site should have separate folders for different types of artwork, such as flash animations." - My answer  Mod_24 "- flash is dead in web 3.0, all there is for animations are webM, mp4 videos, or gif images - Could actually be considered. Adding an additional filter for animations vs images. If it becomes more practical for the site's overall appearance, I might add that later." What actually was added: I added a Hide Arts Filter, and made sure the site loads the good place section with only the Derpibooru browser initially. An animation vs regular standard picture filter setting can be added later if there is enough animations and pics to go around. I honestly don't like the idea of my art commission collection being hidden on initial load time. There's a lot of good stuff in there that you wouldn't want to miss.

Now that's my kind of follower right there :) Wouldn't it be great if the entire old sfm community actually just did the same thing? That they all just be happy, use what they are given instead of fighting each other all the time over who has the biggest tf2 fandom swag?

I did get some other off site feedback, so far everything I built seems satisfactory. I added some other new features such as an art modal for Derpibooru related arts and art commissions. Every one of those arts can now be seen in their full resolution glory just like DeviantArt. An old DA webcam feature that I brought back for myself with more recovered images from my old DeviantArt profile web archives now cycles through 10 different pony gifs. I remember when DA only let you have ONE webcam image. I'm running circles around these idiots while they still hold onto "my gravestone social nuke Chernobyl equivalent of a hate comic post". I still got half a mind to face this idiot who did that one last time. Just go over there on another one of the, what did they call it again? - plz accounts I don't remember fully anymore. Just go over to that post, type out a whole poetic scene of some sort "harr harr hurr durr look at what dropping social nukes on young sfm animators really does you scrub!". But then where does the loop really end? I just spent the last 3 - 4 months on and off with proof that every other single sfm animator out there really can't go up against me. I know it's a dumb read, but that's been my last decade for the most part. Always swimming upstream against that one event. In some places across NexGen community and probably AeridicCore's reVAmped community, I probably still am and always will be.

This website is built to ensure there is still an epickitty54. That the green pony never goes anywhere. That there is always a feeling of finally finding what the old sfm community has tried very hard to take away from me for a long time. I still sit here wondering myself where epickitty went sometimes. The animator who made this masterpiece: Yeah I'm still epickitty54 I made that and I'm aware of it. But where is S&Box and where is that true innovation of "the source 2 filmmaker"? A true sfm animator artist doesn't animate simple clickbait memes.

A true sfm animator breaks barriers and creates art whether people want it or not - only when the time is right for it. Now I go back to waiting for S&Box.

Same as usual. Source filmmaker production here has not really changed much and remains crap lazy valve time. I am still tracking S&Box and I am still very well aware that they skipped a dev blog update month. Their commit history and game development pace updates on a daily basis. I see that with my own pair or eyes. So far, the S&Box source 2 filmmaker is holding and planned to stay. The rest of S&Box itself needs to be fully developed before the source 2 filmmaker can be developed to fit the game. Be aware that can change at anytime.

How is my personal website doing? Click here to see. I introduced a new user interface to access the Derpibooru/Philomena system. If you visit "The Good Place" tab and confirm you are of age of course, you will now be greeted with my art commission collection AND an image/webM window from Derpibooru. How cool is that? It's like making the whole Deviantart 2013 drama art era look like it was completely insignificant. The best part, I built/continue to support the whole thing on my own. If a different image booru API was ever needed, it's possible to re-connect the fetch request url to that database. I do prefer the Derpibooru/Philomena back-end. Knock on wood things just stay afloat. As of this journal's writing, you have three options of browsing: move up one place in the search group, move down one place in the search group, or pick a randomly generated search link. I might add more links in the future. Be aware that webM support on mobile, some web browsers can be mixed. There is a source link where webM videos can be downloaded to watch.

How have I been doing?
I have been doing just fine, source filmmaker animation production has been as crap lazy valve time as it ever could be. I've still been tracking S&Box and its source 2 filmmaker, but let's be honest - the "S&Box source 2 filmmaker" as you seek is far better off re-built in the game as a sandbox variant game mode with an animation keyframing pipeline. You don't even need to have a render output, just git guud and use OBS, Fraps, whatever you use to record your screen. What are you waiting for? kitty0706 to rise from the grave? Point is, I'm still not going to take things seriously again until I know and can confirm things are stable enough to make a new sfm movie. At least 15ai has been showing more stability as of late for voice line generation. Let's hope that doesn't change.

As for my website, the replacement for what was once the demon of the social nuclear disaster of epickitty on that crummy site you call DeviantArt, it's been improving. If you check out my site, there are four buttons on the bottom: Video Animations, Bio, Timeline Art Gallery, and The Good Place. Video Animations takes you to a list of my best source filmmaker machinima animations. Bio is an about epickitty section. This was once part of an epickitty wikia page an anon of the internet contributed. I salvaged and re-built the text through web archives. Timeline Art Gallery is the old epickitty 2013 era DeviantArt art gallery, a time that once was but never forgotten. Finally, The Good Place, the website section with a NSFW gate containing my art commission collection. In this section, you have a choice of five art filters. I might add other art filters if it is ever requested. I usually don't get any feedback so I build the site according to how I want to build it, along with a few friends.

My Thoughts:

So, where to begin with 15.ai as far as online pony voice syntheses goes. It's very good. It's so good, it is bound to become another mess and disaster of itself. The policy of 15.ai: you are not allowed to use other voice syntheses technology with the program. The end result: you get to use this online pony voice syntheses once every 5 million years. Yes, you should be patient, and if 15.ai was the ONLY way you could use voice AI for anthro ponies I'd stay in the loop I was once involved in for 15.ai beta test links. I also have written code myself, I know what it takes to write an entire back-end server situation to keep voice AI generation online. Here's the catch for the single arrogant developer of 15.ai (15): Uberduck.ai. Uberduck.ai is not as good as 15.ai, but it is always available. Uberduck.ai has been available for much longer than 15.ai publicly. Uberduck.ai has fewer pony voices than 15.ai, but the pony voices available are there for you all the time.

So, how long is this going to go on? I've gotten so sick of 15.ai's inconsistency to stay online, I purposely threw myself out of 15.ai test link access. Sooner or later, 15.ai will lose and Uberduck.ai will be my number one choice for pony voice AI generation, if it hasn't happened already. I'd rather have worse quality voices than absolutely nothing at all because of a single developer's arrogance.

As far as what is happening here at Mod_24, it's slow. I am trying to get the motivation (or free time) to finish another full animation. Gimme S&Box s2fm

So far,  RoxasPlayerX has proven to actually be a decent person and I actually like him enough where I as an sfm artist, will listen to him to an extent. You get what you give in this world. I know that works both ways, but that's the times we live in. I will also add,  RoxasPlayerX represents a lot of my motivation to even get ANYTHING done. So please do give him some respect.

Download has been "fixed" finally, we're keeping the derpibooru download link as a secondary backup in case somehow TinyUrl gets added to this site's spam filter for no reason. I still personally am baffled as to why Mega was blocked, it's for very little reason since many legitimate animation downloads are provided this way. You already won't add webM support for this website so what gives?

S&Box unofficial update 2 in relation to the Source 2 Filmmaker:

First, view this post.
In this post, the S&Box Source 2 Filmmaker is reported to retain most of the features from the 2007 standalone sfm. There will no longer be the Gmod/SFM line, S&Box IS the entire second coming of the Source 2 engine, sandbox game, and Source 2 Filmmaker + Valve toolset. So far, this is still all legal as Valve gave the Garry of Facepunch the entire Half Life Alyx repo to work with.

Please Note: I am still not in any way "friends" with the Facepunch crew or the sfm community. I am making these posts because I understand the high as heck priority level of this entire game. This game/dev kit is gonna be the potential future of this entire channel. I do hope things will remain peaceful despite our extreme differences in "the cancer" vs "non-cancer" sections of the internet space. My only intention, is extending the machinima dream I once started 9 years ago, to see another action movie with Rainbow Dash, or Applejack, or whatever pony (maybe better nsfw content too for here on FA). I do not guarantee anything also as I am older now. I am making these posts because I still stand here, patiently waiting for what is true. I have been patiently waiting for Source 2 to become viable for a true extension of what I made this channel to be today.

I know, it's been a very long road for this youtube channel, and FA profile - I haven't made a real production since 2018 with Blue Turbulence: Inferno Agent. This has been the reason why though, It has taken this many years for the valve gaming community (and really Valve themselves) as a whole to finally make the Source 2 engine viable. Blender is no fun, I have also trained for the past 8 years to learn the workflow of the source filmmaker.

I hope it will be soon to gain public access, and start making some posts with ponies. Reading is very boring, but to re-iterate, this is the future of this channel.
