Posted 14 years agoI just realized i did not let FA know that i was confirmed for the artist alley at ACen in Chicago! It's not until april, but i am really excited!!
are any furs going to be there? what should i bring?!
I want to get stickers made before the con, but i am not 100% sure what i should get made. any suggestions, or places to get them done would be AWESOME. I am likely going to have gothic/sweet lolita stickers as it IS an anime con, but if the interest is there for furry things i will get that as well!
SO, i still need to pay for my artist alley table and badge! so any commissions right now would be STELLAR since it would help me on my way for con stuff! any pimping out would be GREATLY appreciated!!! any and ALL commissions right now are going right back into paying for the con and art supplies for the con. I will be selling shtuff at SUGOICON this weekend in ft. mitchell, KY (just outside of cincinnatti). if you are going to be there, be sure to drop by the alley and say hey! mention this journal, get a free button, aw yeah.
and if at all possible i would love some takers on commissions or my iron artist challenge. I could really use the cash for gas/hotel costs while i am at the con... plus rent is due at the same time. ANY little bit helps tremendously!

i am so broke i decided to do a NAME YOUR PRICE version. see below to see what you could get for the price.
since the point of the challenge is to get as much done as you can, and trying to improve, i am also using this as an opportunity to experiment with colouring and inking and other techniques to improve. (which is why the prices are going to be so cheap, experimental!)

It has been.... Hum... Forever since I've been here. I'm sorry. I want to come back. I miss you demented kids <3
Before I start posting again I wanted to ask if I owed anyone here anything/if they ever got their halves of a trade. Last time I did anything through here I was still getting used to my apartment and I am pretty sure a bunch of my outgoing mail was stolen :c we had like 3 Netflix movies stolen, a couple of my friends never got their letters, and there were a couple things I sent to FA users, who I only contacted through the site. So after a year of not being here, I don't know if anyone got their stuff, lol. Let me know, I'll try to get things out soon.

As soon as I wasn't sick anymore I went back to work. I am a server so I only get paid when I work. I only get paid by tips. Since I missed a whole week of work I was/am reallllyyy broke so I picked up more shifts. So I've been working every chance I had since I got better AND working the longest shifts possible. So I haven't been home as much.
I haven't forgotten about anyone, but square one is getting bills paid and I need to work to do that. Money is very tight and I may even have to be (very) late on some bills because I simply don't have the money.

It's official! I have a 102 fever and the flu!
Posted 16 years agoYeah so I went to urgentcare today. Where I had a fever of 102 and showed positive test results for the flu. I may also have strep throat... They took cultures for it but didn't tell me if I had it or not... I think those tests take a while...
I can't go to work until Saturday maybe not even until next Tuesday. And that's if it doesn't get worse!! Lol awesome.
So I'm on my phone a lot... When I'm not sleeping haaah.

I would like to offer iPhone sketches/doodles as a commission to make a bit more money. I was wondering whats I should charge as I am not currently aware of anyone else doing this right now... So I don't know where to start for pricing. I am thinking 3-5$....

My Twitter for arts shall be updated nearly every night (early morning) with stylus drawn sketches, doodles and full on PIECES. so if you have a Twitter follow mokodraws ! Http://www.Twitter.com/mokodraws
I'm going to offer the first 3 people that comment WITH A REF a iPhone drawing of some kind so I can get some more practice in. Posted 16 years agodue to some financial hiccups i had my internet disconnected for a bit. i just got enough to pay for it again and get it re-connected. i'm sort of in the hole because of it. SO any commissions would be fantastic.

i actually had more stuff scanned, BUT THEN!
FOR NO GODDAMNED REASON.
my paintshop just shuts off. well... stops functioning. it's still open. and it sent me an error message. but not working.
i don't feel like messing with it today. i just got home from work not too long ago and i think i just want to lay down.
my netbook is also still un-responsive to the internet.
SIGH.
also: baby has been sick for like ... 12 days. been hindering the arting. i sorry.

Posted 16 years agopast two weeks been filled with sad things. been meaning to, and trying ot draw, but is not working so well.
past 4ish days been painfully sick, so. would rather sleep than draw.
computer still screwy. still working on fixing it.
commissions will be done shortly, i apologize for the wait. MOST SINCERE AND DEEPEST APOLOGIES.

COMPUTER ISSUES

SO
i accidentally got a virus last night on my netbook.
said virus has UNINSTALLED. ALL. MY. SHIT.
i can get it to turn on, and windows will boot up with my normal settings (wallpaper, resolution, etc), but nothing else will. i can click certain things... and they just won't load... or click things and a message saying "windows does not know who made this file."
it SUCKS. and i'm beyond pissed.
going to try some things to fix it. like. .... throwing firefox on a memory stick and hopefully loading it back on the compu to DL ...something to fix it... or loading windows on it and re-installing it. but i am not sure how that will all work since my netbook doesn't have a cd drive, and is designed to run on XP, and my desktop has vista.
HOPEFULLY. I CAN MAKE IT WORK.
IF NOT. well, i definately won't be online as much. (it's hard to do the desktop thing when has baby.)
