I logged in for the first time in months and I don't understand how people still keep managing to find my stuff on this site, taking the effort to favourite and comment on them. I wonder if they realise I'm not using this account anymore?

Like the dying year this account is effectively dead, the stinking corpse has been dormant too long anyway. I don't really want to draw furries and what else I draw I can put elsewhere.

These days something bad happened. I'm still upset about it. So I gave up on many things, throw them away and lose them forever.

Seeing some of the hate and accusations of having to see MLP on the banner here got me thinking.

Didn't furries essentially spawn out of, and still are very much about, an affinity for funny talking cartoon animals? Not implying that degrades them necessarily.

When people say it's for kids, I always imagine all those other groups who label comics, animation and video games as such, it doesn't strike me as a very good argument against it.

Considering there's probably a lot of fans among the community who contribute to the site and through such creative efforts here and elsewhere have made themselves heard, for better or for worse, is it REALLY a surprise something like this happened?

That's what has happened.

I will probably be without a scanner until at least September, it remains to be seen, so if you don't see me posting drawings it's not because I've given up, it's just I'm unable to. Hopefully I'll stockpile a bunch of art for when I get back.

Next time I see a sufficiently dirty car window I'm going to draw Rarity saying "filthy disgusting dirt". Much more elegant than a crude "clean me".

Recently saw this episode, I never thought I'd be humming a song about ponies making dresses for each other.

I'm driven deep beneath the waves of real life and I got a lot of folks to meet, but in a week I'll be back on that magic swirlin ship and wandering. More vague traces of art then, for certain.
