I will be streaming this thursday as well as probably opening for some sketches or something. Figuring that part out for a moment.

BUT in the mean time I'm gonna dump some art pieces I've been meaning to share. This last year was very.. very weird! A lot happened, and a lot of it I've wanted to talk about publicly, but it was kinda personal. Kind of sensitive. I'd been in a very fragile place and anything I found myself writing to share with people would have just been over sharing. My personal problems effect my workflow, but they're not a concern to any of my clients and I never want to use it as an excuse.

Life is just, really, really hard sometimes.

Death in the family. Had boyfriend problems, I guess? We still talk, he visits, and we love one another to bits. I opened up to a lot of friends that have helped me feel better. I cut my hair short and then started speaking my mind and being more forward with people and feel a lot better about drawing again and getting thru owed work.

I felt weird seeing the first page of my entire gallery being almost nothing but sketch pages so I hope you enjoyed the upload dump. I'll post more later in the month. I swear I've been making art, I'm just weird about what/when to post.

Some commissions I do I don't feel really *fit* my art, if that makes sense? It's not like they're shameful necessarily, but not always what I want my work associated with exactly. So I've become a little pickier about what I end up sharing.
- the quality isn't that great (anatomy, lighting, etc, but the client was happy with it).
- the theme is something I don't want to necessarily become specifically known for, but I have no problems drawing on occasion. (Macros/giants kinda fall into that. They're fun, but I don't want it to be my *thing*)
- the theme is something I actually didn't like drawing, but I have a "if it doesn't gross me out immediately, I'll draw anything once to see if it's too uncomfortable" personal rule.

Or it's just like, I forget lol. I'd rather be posting better work vs every little scribble and stuff.

Sometimes I've considered just entirely rebranding for better anonymity. Maybe a catchier name? But I still kinda *like* Mongrelist, but maybe if I could just make it something.. shorter? Snappier? Idfk

I guess I realize my general art is.. well kinda general? I get commissioned varied themes, so. But I kind of feel like FA sorta has that whole "everything goes" kinda feeling to it. But I guess-guess that I'd kinda like to shift any "really weird" stuff to another alias so if it's reposted at least it's like slightly an extra step to associate directly.

The only real reason I'm even bothering is that I was dumb enough to be very honest to family that I do art and that this is my general alias(i'd get put on the spot and I'm a bad liar). The generally know that I do fantasy art involving animals and creatures; as well as pet portraits/etc. Most wouldn't go so far to look on FA(or even know it exists) but I just.. don't like the idea of them finding out their daughter/cousin/whatever draws weird art of animal characters getting eaten time to time.

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter that much, if they found it too weird to talk to me anymore then I wouldn't want to associate with that sorta judgemental people anyway. ;b
