Hello Everybody! Monte is still alive- sorry for the long hiatus, life's just been utter shit and my Mojo for digital medium art/porn suffered from it. I am getting better however, so worry not. :>



I need help with regards to the FA folder formats! The Submission management tab does not show my new Folders I made while in the Folder Management tab, why cant I see these new folders in Submission management? Even when I click on a individual submission and edit the piece from its Edit Submission Information the new Folders are NOT visible. Whats going on, did I miss a step here?

Like always, any assistance is MUCH appreciated- you guys are Aces. ;3

Long story short, Found out I cant use Blizzard credits I just bought to make a Blizz-con purchase and fucked myself over, so, I now have a $60 digital balance for their store, mounts, cosmetics, pets ect. Heya Guys n Gals, I hope you are all doing well and good, I just wanted to post about how the first quarter of 2015 has been going!


Late January saw me come down with my first real case of the Flu in years, was out of work for 5 days while on some medication that REALLY dropped your body temperature- was fatigued and bed ridden for the first 2 1/2 days before slowly coming back to life- I really needed 4 1/2 days of it!

-Art Wise: I continue to sketch and doodle, but in notepads and sketch books, continuing to flesh out new ideas to hopefully take to PaintToolSAI and then post!

February, I beat the flu in time to go with some Co-workers to Disneyland for two days and it would not have been possible without my Tax Returns which I got less back this year, strange my job cut hours sharply when the Pay Increase hit California... Sprained both my wrists lightly on two rides on the Tea Cups and bought myself all the Stitch Pins I could find- also discovered PIN TRADING <3 When I got back home I found my PC cut itself off halfway through a wow raid my first night home, but it booted back so I just ignored it.

-Art Wise: RPing over messengers has helped take my mind off my troubles and I continue to draw and enjoy practicing my styles. RPs and Doodles keep me happy!

March rolls in, Every other day my PC will boot up and run for maybe a hour or so and then will power down, NOW this has my attention fully, I ask around for PC insights and many suggest it is the Power Supply, and probably dusty (Never took a can of air to it since I got it LAST MARCH) I need to get my PC diagnosed because I no longer have a back up clunker of a LAPTOP to fall back on for digital art and my video games and with all my tech pals currently busy starting relationships or families I have to look towards big box companies in my area which means I need that stack to afford a 'professional' diagnostic and then take care of the problems, oh and I blew through my yearly allowance of $1,000 for paid dental coverage by getting 4 small cavities filled, so much for getting my wisdom teeth removed this year- gonna work through the on again off again HOMYGAWD DIS PAIN IN MAH LOWER JAWAH DADDY WARBUCKS FUCKKIN SHOOT ME, NO ME GUSTA pains.
Another year I failed to buy a Cintiq again. Crap.

Other than that, I am doing okay and I am happy to have something to post albeit sporadic, I really want to have the time to post non stop, but I am time and tech strapped, but I will keep going forward! If you made it this far down the journal then Thanks for reading this long! XD

Heya folks, Monte here just to talk a little about some issues I will be dealing with in the months to come and how they might effect my artwork and thus my posting. (Nobody is dead)

So as some might remember, I was PC-less for about a year after the one a friend had built got water damaged and I was on a backup laptop until last Year. I took some Tax refunds and purchased the cheapest PC I could get off NewEgg since the Laptop in question was rundown and could not handle both World of Warcraft and storing all my doodles.

That money was supposed to go into FINALLY getting me a touch screen drawing tablet that I have been after for 3 years, I told myself this year I would pour any returns I scraped up to finally get one and really push to get my digital artwork up to the same level as my 2D pencil skills- something I have been DYING to synchronize.

Jump to this morning, I get up and set up my headset and tablet into my front two USB Ports in their usual ports, my tablet light comes on and turn on Skype so I can chat while I work, I notice I do not hear the familiar Skype dial sounds while it tires to connect the call, I stop skype and turn on Youtube and click a vid, no sound.
I pull the headset cord from the USB and switch it to the port my tablet had been on, instant sound! confused, I look to the back of my tower, where 4 other ports are around, since my headset cord is longer I try each of the available ports to try and get sound from them, NONE are receptive aside from one giving a light connection sound when I pulled it out of the port.

So, I am currently 1/6 ports active on my PC, I like to have music playing while I doodle, and since I am in a apartment I cant blast music at night when most magic happens. (I have speakers, loud babies.)
Now I am going to have to look into getting these ports fixed as I would Hulk out if I lost the last one.

Hopefully the problem is only the USB ports themselves, but if its the sign of something bigger I might have to dip into this years refunds which would hurt me deeply.

I know it has many drawbacks, but it was good for the price I could afford. I dont trust sending the desktop to IBP for repairs so I will look around the hometown if I cant find parts or a friend to come by and look at it.

Hey guys,

Sorry about the no art posts last week, I had some late shifts and had planned to get everyone's commissions caught up today when suddenly my new manager mucked up my schedule and did not inform me the schedule posted Friday had changed for (insert reason here) and I was scheduled a 8 hour shift I just got home from. Couple that with my future scheduling- which has for the past 2 years had a verbal agreement (i know its weak) about my off days not being tampered with now in jeopardy without a doctors note to back up why I had it set up in the first place (stress), I need to hold talks with my union tomorrow before work to keep my balance.

I will be off on Wednesday and then, if I am not doctor note hunting, I will resume work on all your sketches, again I am super sorry to you guys and I thank you for your patience.
