Looking for suggestions on good people to commission for partial fursuits. I do have a limited budget to work with, but I want quality work done that won't fall apart if I'm romping around in it with my friends. Say if I go to the park or the wood and climb on or jump from things, it won't just tear or fall apart from movement.

Specifically I am interested in a couple commissions:
~Bear arms for my fiancé. Yes for a cheesy joke.
~Paws/arms/tail/head for myself. For personal use.

We'll probably get the bear arms first since we're trying to save most of our money for our wedding coming up in July. But it'll still be good to have some suittailors in mind for when I'm able to get around to getting mine done.

I'm super excited. After all the trouble I went through to get where I'm at, things are finally falling into place. I'm really happy right now. And now that I'm settling into my new apartment, hopefully I'll be able to post new art soon. I'm actually in the middle of working on a digital drawing of my 'sona & a close friend's 'sona together. Not sure if I'm really happy with how the lineart looks just yet, because the lines for the characters are different thicknesses. I might be able to make it work, we'll just have to wait and see what happens I suppose.
I don't know if anyone pays attention to my journals, but I figured I'd toss up a little update anyway so everyone knows I'm still alive~

Update of some sort:
So, I finally got a job. I'm a hostess at IHOP again. It's only on the weekends though, so I might be looking for a second job after awhile. For now though, I'd like to focus on getting used to having one job again before I try for a second one. As far as my living situation, things are great so far living with Exulen. People often say to never be roommates with your best friend, because you'll end up hating each other. But we haven't had many problems at all. And as soon as our third party gets a job, we'll all be moving into an apartment or something together. Honestly I thought I'd be more nervous about this. But I'm not. I feel really great about how things are going, and I'm glad I've got such amazing people to start my life with. It really does feel like a fresh start, and that's really good.

So I'm gonna be trying out some new "stone" colors of clay in the next few days. Just making flower necklaces this time, because I can usually do those pretty quickly & easily. Plus my aunt is supposed to be helping me get info on lot rent at a local farmers market or something of the sort, and I need a bunch of things stocked up if I'm gonna try to do decently. But yeah, so if any of you are interested.
I will be posting photos once I've got them baked.




{Update:} Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed with this clay.
There are a few colors I like, and the rest...
Just didn't make me happy.
Oh well, I suppose it can't be helped.
I may still get some more in the future if these sell well.

Now that I'm settled into living with , I'm searching for a job.
I forgot how frustrating that is, but hey I suppose I'll find one soon if I keep at it enough. I've also been eyeballing this cute little light blue VW beetle in our neighborhood, I know I can't do car payments right now but it keeps calling my name. I'm planning on going to check it out this weekend, see if its in good shape & what the people want for it. I can dream, right? XD
I've been working on a few new ideas for projects to do in my spare time. So hopefully I will be able to finish some of those up soon & be able to post pictures. On top of my newer ideas, I'll be starting up the PokeHeart project again. (For anyone not aware, this is a project I've been working on for awhile & will be continuing to work on for quite some time. I plan on sculpting ALL of the Pokemon, each holding a heart.) I bought the clay the other day for Gengar. A friend back in NC wants two Gengars. One small one to hang from her car mirror, and a larger one to sit in her room.

Prices vary with difficulty and size. Most the time my prices are pretty cheap.
People are constantly telling me I need to charge more for things, but I don't like to charge high prices.

I'm not really great at asking for things, obviously.
But I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

Basic Price Range:
Charms: usually run $1 - $3 depending on what it is.
Earrings: all $2 per pair, unless its got expensive pieces.
Bracelets: usually $3 - $6 depending on what materials I use.
Necklaces: usually $5 - $10 depending on the materials I use.
Sculptures: usually $5 - $25 depending on size & difficulty, & if it has added things.
KeyChains: usually $4 - $8 depending on size & difficulty.


Note: Keep in mind, prices vary depending on how hard it is for me to make the thing & if I use multiple materials. I generally like to keep my prices fairly low though if I can.

- Where did the name of your fursona come from?
If I remember correctly, when I was like 7yrs old & staying at my dad's for the weekend I just came up with it one day while I was playing outside with my dog. I had had the character idea for awhile just hadn't decided a name till then.

- Why did you choose that species?
I just wanted something unique. Completely my own.

- What color is your fursona and why?
Purple, with black markings.

- What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your irl personality?
Didn't I already tell about her/his personality in this thing? Go read that bit. Anyway, Moofie is more bold and outspoken than I am. I don't always need to be noticed, in fact a lot of the time I'd rather not be noticed by strangers. I can sometimes be a super introvert. But with my friends I'm really extroverted. Fairly loud, and just comfortable. I dunno. I'm bad at explaining me. I'm complex and so are most of my characters.

- What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you irl?
Nothing right now.

- How has your fursona changed over the years?
More defined, specific. Instead of just morphing any species she wanted when I originally came up with her. Now she morphs genders & has her own specific species.

Lots and lots of years. I believe I first came up with Moofie when I was about 7years old.
