Posted 12 years agoSince my last journal two days ago saying that I've been incredibly lucky with the whole obtaining shinys thing...
Well... um... I hatched a shiny Buneary today too.

Posted 12 years agoIn the evenings before bed, I like to unwind by hatching Pokémon eggs on Black 2. As such, I hatch a lot of the little dudes. I've already filled the Pokédex, so I'm aware it's kinda pointless, but I like it!
Having the Shiny Charm and using the Masuda method of breeding gives the egg a 0.1% chance of hatching shiny I believe. Which still isn't much, but is the highest chance to legitimately have.
I've hatched 4 so far! Ponyta, Teddiursa, Swablu (and about an hour ago) a Poliwag. :D
The Poliwag I'm especially pleased with, since it has its Hidden Ability! Shiny Drizzle Politoed is gonna fuck yo shit. Aw yeahhhh.

To crosshatch or not? Opinions please!

So basically using cross hatching to shade my line work has generally worked well for me in the past. However my most recent submissions were a kind of experiment to see what it'd be like without... I'm undecided as to what I prefer!
On the one hand there's the scratchy, textured lines;
