experimental/grab bag commission slots
Posted 8 years agohey i was wondering if anyone was interested in getting an experimental commission from me? it would be stuff similar to this but with painted shading like this and the possibility of a full body for $25-$30 depending on complexity of the character

i haven't really liked the name moonfae for a while and every time i email or pp someone for a commission and say i'm moonfae from fa i'm like :/
guh i wish that fa was like twitter or tumblr where you could just change your username because this is such a pain in the ass. i've been gaining more active watchers lately though so i thought that it might be easier now to bring the people i care about with me over to a new account and not get lost in the mix

✩ She's a demon fox! i've always liked foxes and their almost canine-feline quality. i just started feeling connected to demons; i've always loved oni and all of those noh masks. i like their fluid kind of identity <: (Milky has a full demon form, too!)
• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect
✩ she's brown-grey and black with pink accents! i really like natural color schemes and i originally started with a grey/white color scheme before it developed

✩ she's very like myself, but i make her primary personality traits being anxious/shy, and sleepy just so i can have a role to play in fursuit haha

✩ welp, i've only really had two fursonas; milky and kitsune. kitsune was a fox-wolf and had my physical traits: blond hair, green eyes, piercings, a shape with my favorite colors in it... i desperately wanted to distance myself from her and changed her gradually to have some of milky's currents traits to make the transition easier!

if i owe you a trade, i remember!!!! i will be working on them in the next few days, so sorry for the wait everyone!!!
and, I'm almost 90% sure i'm going to anthro new england (ANE) this year, and i'm so excited!! i will be going with my housemate, probably for three days as my first day of classes is on the 23rd. i'm getting a two bed room, and would really love to have more roommates, not only for a bonding experience but to make the hotel cheaper! i'm getting a room in the main hotel. if you're interested in sharing a room, please let me know and note me!!!!

Posted 9 years agoas school approaches, i'm finding myself really anxious. and my anxiety mostly manifests itself in an inability to focus. because of this, it's been really hard for me to try and sit down with my tablet. i promise i'll get things done, but i'll probably have to be in my apartment at school and settled before that happens. sorry everyone ;3; i have lots of cool sketches and unfinished projects that i want to show you!

help with color palette?
Posted 9 years agowould anyone be willing to help me with a color palette? i'm pretty awful with coming up with ones that don't look really muted, and am struggling to get my possum's colors right. i just usually draw in my sketchpad with just a pencil, so when it comes time to choose colors, i'm just at a loss

Posted 9 years agoi keep getting myself worked up because people (namely furries) on my fb keep making these really inconsiderate posts that just reek of a lack of empathy. it may be difficult, but a sign of emotional maturity is thinking about a situation from both your own and the offending party's/victim's perspective
like damn everyone does things for a reason, and if people are telling you something over and over again, maybe a better option that just being angry about it is to pause and think why so many people might be saying it/ getting angry about it

Posted 9 years agoyesterday, when i just happened to be home from my internship, my dog had a seizure leaving her unable to walk
i have been up here alone so my family friend came and we lifted her into the car and took her to the vet
they discovered she had a ruptured tumor in her kidney, and internal bleeding had caused the seizure
i had to make the decision to put her down before her discomfort turned to pain. she was 12 going on 13, a yellow lab named Nova whom we adopted at 7.
Just kind of wanted to impart the news and explain why i don't seem like i'm working on much right now

Posted 9 years agoI'm gonna go to anthrocon ahhh!!!!!!! i've been wanting to go for years :'3 now that i have a car i can finally suffer the 8 hour drive by myself!
who else is going? i have no hotel arrangements yet; anyone need a room buddy? the only thing is that i don't drink or smoke, and i have a smoke sensitivity, so preferably i'd like someone that doesn't smoke and won't ditch me to go to bars :'3 i am the ultimate party pooper

Updates and first fursuit!
Posted 9 years agoWell, I've been ghosting on this website for awhile now lol
It's the end of the semester here, I only have a few days left!!! I can't wait to get out of here
I haven't uploaded any art/photos in a long long time but basically the reason for this is:
1. no time at school
2.however, i draw a lot in my free time! they're only unfinished sketches though, which i think people here wouldn't be interested in
3. i take photos of my fursuit on my iphone, and iphone photos upload sideways on FA which is UGLY
4. the wifi here is awful and most times i can barely load this website
5. my laptop broke down a month or two ago, and all my art and files are stuck on it! I got a new computer right away because i desperately needed it for school, and my tablet and its install data is at home. actually, thinking about it i don't even know how i'm going to redownload my tablet program, as i'm pretty sure it came on a disk and this laptop has no disk drive ;A; i'll figure it out when i get home
6. i get nervous and don't reply to things in a long time :<
I have, however, been working on making my first fursuit!! he's a shiba inu that i've dreamed of making for 4 or 5 years now. he's about 1/3 of the way finished at this point, and once i get out of school i project i can finish him up with a week's more work. exciting!!!
i plan to make another suit this summer, as i already have a lot of craftmanship details to work on, as i'm relatively new to sewing and whatnot. if things go right, i might also be interning at a stuffed animal company workshop this summer!!!
anyhow, i just felt like posting an update as i hate seeing my page just full of really old work and old journals
i should be more active again soon~!
p.s. i have another account, milkypink, that i've been saving for awhile. once i get going again i might move over there as i love the username and go by Milky now!
