Slowly...
Posted 14 years agoSlowly, slowly I am beginning to get back into the hang of doing more art. xD
My summer break is turning into less of a break and more of an opportunity to work and gain experience in the veterinary field. It's great for me, since I'll be applying to vet school in a few years, but boy do I miss the free and easy summers I've had in the past. Oh well. :3
I'm still managing to do a fair bit of art, thankfully. I'll continue to upload here, hopefully expanding what I submit a little bit more. I'm eager to do some anthros in color now, and do some more dynamic expressions and poses. Just got to push myself, hah. -coward-
Hope you're all doing well!

Uf!
Posted 14 years agoSo sorry about the lack of...Anything from me! I feel pretty awful about this, since I felt like I started off so well. I hope I haven't disappointed anyone who's wandered by (or my single watcher; You are so very much appreciated!). I'll try to make a paltry excuse here and hope that it doesn't cause everyone to lose faith entirely.
I am actually working on something that would be acceptable for this site (a gryphon, in fact; not technically anthropomorphic, but I think it's close enough to go here...I hope). However, I am also in this horrible art class at the moment that is eating away at all of my creativity. I feel guilty everytime I try to work on my personal works rather than attempt to finish something for it. It's a digital class, and I don't have Illustrator CS5 on my poor little PC, so I must go down to the computer lab everytime I want to actually get the homework done. Naturally, this causes a few problems here and there in terms of time. Even then, after all that nonsense concerning art, I have a full load of other, far more difficult classes to attend to (like now for instance; I'm technically working on an honors government paper...Sh....).
So anyway, I just wanted to give a little shout letting you all know I am alive (for those who've wondered or might have been confused). I think I'll try to get a few sketches up soon just so my gallery doesn't look quite so empty. I've been doodling in the margins of my notes, but I'll attempt to aim them for my sketchbook next time.
Thanks for your patience!

Hi there...
Posted 15 years agoNo one's actually watching me (what would you watch me for? I haven't got anything for you to see yet. xD), but I just wanted to put a little disclaimer up.
It might take me some time to put anything into my forlorn little gallery, because I am not usually an anthro artist. My main interest has always been in realistic animals, but putting animal characteristics to human shapes is proving really difficult for me. Seems like every time I try (and I've got such lovely images in my head), they turn into regular foxes or wolves or whatever else I'm attempting! I'll keep working on it, though.
Also, I'm very new to the anthro/furry artist's community in general. It's something I've basically observed and admired from the outside looking in. I'd like to explore it a little more, though, and hopefully one day I'll be comfortable with drawing them. I've come here in the hopes that this site can help me with that. :)
So, please don't give up hope on me! I'm working on something as we speak, and hopefully it'll actually work as it's supposed to, even if it is just a sketch.
Thank you to anyone who does stop by!
