I guess I really found what I want to do for the rest of my life. I mean, I've always had an idea, but... I just really want to scriptwrite comics for the rest of my life. And now that I've found that... I just wish I could draw them as well ^^; I feel like I'll get there someday, but it would also be a lot of fun to collaborate with another artist and make a comic together... Yeah. I just saw MLP Equestria Girl's newest move, Rainbow Rocks.

It... It was about as bad as I thought it would be, and by that I mean stereotypical. Even the villain's design made it plainly obvious their intentions- sell dolls like the Monster High dolls- and unfortunately the movie suffered as a result of the money-centered ploy. It is unfortunately even worse than the first.

The first I still genuinely enjoyed because the songs were fun and catchy, and even if it broke no new ground on the typical high school drama, it had moments where it was genuinely funny.

Not so with Rainbow Rocks. It's jokes weren't funny, it's songs weren't catchy- or really, very good- and instead I sat there thinking about how much it reminded me of other movies, namely the High School Musical series.

Sunset Shimmer... Dear goodness where do I start. I love her character. She became one of my favorites. She has so much potential to grow as a character and to see her continually pushed to the wayside or outright ignored until the end was grating and annoying, and just made Twilight's human friends seem a lot meaner than they were supposed to be. Especially the constant jokes about her bad move in the last movie. Like no, stop.
She was obviously hurt by it, and the apologies seemed half-hearted, even sarcastic, especially since it just. kept. happening.
Not to mention Flash's extremely out of character comment. "THERE'S THE GIRL WE ALL LOVE TO HATE" after she tried to save Rainbow Dash from revealing the girls' secret pony things.

Like please give Sunset Shimmer a break.

None of the characters in this movie were even likable, none of the songs were likable, and the villains? Please. They're a dime a dozen.

More sunset shimmer please.

And less obnoxious songs.

(I dunno Trixie's song was kinda cute but it was too repetitive.)
(Also Vinyl's part was adorable, as was Lyra and BonBon's. Like seriously, those two were adorable and I need more.)

Haha, I'll be celebrating my two year anniversary with my boyfriend next week! I'm so excited!
It's been hard, me being away at college and all, but we survived! And now year number two is on it's way.

Okay, so first of all, my nephew, Logan, was born yesterday. Seven pounds, two ounces of squirming adorable with tiny fingers and even tinier feet. He's the fifth niblet I have. :) and then along came Daisy.
Daisy, who was not due for another four weeks! I mean, she was huge so we were expecting her early, but not this early, haha! She's in the NICU, but it's just a precaution as everyone is doing super good. Hurray for new niblets! I now have 6 in my unstoppable army!
