I'm thinking that since its so hard for my computer to access the internet from up here in my room (pretty much mondays) I've been giving thought to buying a laptop. Yeah, just a little post thing. I might, idk.

yeah, trying to stay busy and keep my mind off of unfortunate events (a good buddy was forced to move down south and more) so I'm going to be going back to drawing and writing more. Already did 2 linearts, and I'mma start redrawing some old characters, maybe doing some fun charcoal pictures. Just letting everyone know. might consider trying to do some charcoal gift pictures for afew people but that's a story for another day.

Sorry, I couldn't help it. Anyway, yeah, I'm still alive. my mouse guard picture is taking forever, because it's probably one of the biggest things I've done. yeah, that's all for now. Phil's out. gotta go to my buddies little bros grad party then work.

so one day I was in Barnes and Nobel with my buddy Orrie and while he was looking for the new warhammer 40k book, I saw the 1001 comics you need to read before you die book. I flipped it open and first thing I saw was the comic "Mouse Guard" so for the past month or so it was floating in my head. I went back the other day and we found some of the collections and I felt for $20 it was worth a shot for the first series of the comic.
I just finished reading it and... I really really liked it.
that's not to say there aren't any problems with it. At times the "epic" moments (like when a mouse takes on a crab with nothing but a fishing hook) seemed to be over to quickly, but that's not what I fell in love with. What drew me in was the art. it really fits the idea beautifully and the mice look like believable mice (with scales and what not seeming right) with the looks just fitting great setting a feeling of epicness at moments when fights happen (as mentioned earlier).
What keeps me hooked is the idea. The idea is mice have expanded borders and no central leadership. So the guard was made to try and protect the mouse villages and commerce between them. they're more then just soldiers, they protect other mice, trying to keep them from harm.
I guess what I'm saying is it's an interesting series so far, and I really enjoy it. I also recommend giving it a flip through if you happen to see it somewhere.
(It's 1:30 am and I couldn't think of anything else to stay up later from now (cause I close tomorrow) so that's why I wrote this lol)

I hate myself for wanting to do something, I wanna make a space marine comic (a very long in depth comic) based around a story of the relationship (NO GET THOSE DIRTY THOUGHTS OUT OF YOUR HEADS PERVS!!! XD) between two brotherly space marines after one defects to chaos. my problem is I can't draw spess mehreens to well unless they take up a whole damn page, and then only in certain poses. might ask to see if someone else can draw space marines and maybe other things from the warhammer 40k universe and work from there *shrugs* idk. well see later.

that make me wish I had a laptop again. it was beautiful outside, so I could have gone out there and just been online to talk to people while just having fun out there. anyway, in other news, I finally get a day off and where do I spend alot of it? You guessed it , at work. people are so crazy over monopoly, that I couldn't go grab my paycheck again! anyway, I have a new drawing coming, I really want to get my latest picture down soon as it doesn't look that great without the rest of the armor lol. oh, but I finally named my space marine, Christep (cause I know so many of you where crazy over that lol.) and. ... that's about all I got, I'll update everybody later!

also can use a friends comp that has flash and a friend of mine is giving me his FL studio so eventually after my shirt is done, I might make something with some music to it made by me lol. ... I dabble way to much into to many things lol.

couldn't sleep so I thought I'd post something kinda funny. My mom got me a new smart phone from T-mobile. Out of all the choices presented, I decided to go with the LG Optimus T. so far everyone who I've told the model name has mentioned transformers in some way, usually in the form of asking "is your new phone a transformer?" Just thought I'd share lol.

Thinking about getting back into it, but I can't decide what I should start with. I was thinking either all green, or a 2 color combo of some mixture between green, black, and white. any opinions would be nice. (might get a shout out in my next post if you let me know what you think, and more if you can donate old cards XD

well, Idk what to do, no job, so no money coming in, gas in the car is running low so even if I get a job no clue how I can make it there, need to repair my car (again with the money I don't have), and I have no quick escape through college.

I, as the payed artist, have every right to decline any commission I do not wish to do. I also reserve the right to post all commissioned work in my gallery and allow it to remain there as well as in my artier account  philtrocity. I will only begin drawing AFTER receiving payment. I can take at least 8 hours on a drawing, so please be patient. Drawings can take at least a month. If it is taking to long for your liking, communicate with me and I can give you progress pictures or we can talk about a refund if it's more than a month after I have informed you of starting.

You will have your choice of general objects (some ideas: A bottle, A thick book, A fork)
All base line prices will be fore a 3-object drawing that will require your approval on locations of objects.
Limit of 10 objects per drawing.

Outline (no shading, just lines drawn with charcoal) $7
Extra object (4-6) $3 each object.
All objects after 6- $5
3 tone picture (pure black, pure white, and the middle gray of vine charcoal) $15

Full shaded picture (every shade I can muster in the picture with my charcoal and erasers) $20

All objects after the 6th - $5
Character commissions in charcoal
All of these are based on a 1 character picture done in charcoal.

I was mulling it over, and I thought maybe I could open myself up to commissions since I require monies. I would only do pictures in charcoal for my commissions.

After almost all of 2 hours I finally figured out how to change my password so I could finally log in. I never thought I'd say this but I honestly missed online play 0.o very first thing was Red Faction Guerrillia, I forgot how amazing that game is online lol. I especially enjoyed dropping someone into the abyss outside of the map by destroying the supports keeping said building from falling off of the map (yes it counted as a kill for me) now I'm off to play MAG.
For those of you who wonder weather I'm dead or not, I am not. I have actually one very special piece that I plan on finishing tomorrow just so you can all see, I'm quiet proud of it (since I had to make up where the f*cking lighting was coming from) and can't wait to do another picture of this caliber (I sunk nearly 7 hours into this one alone!!!)

I know I haven't posted something for awhile, but I thought I'd get some thoughts from afew people. I've been doing alot of more "arty" peices with Charcoal, and though I'm not the best, I know alot more now than I did at the start of the school year. I was watching Brentalfloss (who is a teacher) on youtube for some time and he's recently started a video series teaching people the art of writing actually good lyrics (those reminescent of good music from the 80's and the method he uses to make parody lyrics) and that got me thinking. I love charcoal, I don't know what I'd do without it now lol. I love to draw, and I'm not bad at drawing artsy things. I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I made a new youtube account solely dedicated to teaching people the basics of working with charcoal? I might even do fillers of just me drawing for the fun of it with some friends and maybe my roommate lol. anyway, let me know what you think, and if you would actually be willing to try fallowing my instruction.
