If you missed out, remember it doesn't always mean I wasn't fond of your idea! There were so many more peeps submitting than usual! I will def come back to these ideas in the coming months, they were all so wonderful <3 Not enough time to take them all x.x

What is updated however, is my COMMISSION FORM with most, if not all, the information you need. My TOS is staying the same, I would just like to add a more detailed description on my new commission types now.
Note that my prices have increased, keeping up with new personal expenses and inflation. I haven’t updated them in a bit, however this will be my last jump for a couple years or more I hope!

Posted 3 years ago Hello!~ Hope you all are doing well. Spring is here and oh boy are new things about to happen!
My partner, 
will be arriving at my place on April 13th to start getting himself established here before he's officially on the lease in June! I'm SO excited to start this journey with him, but with that comes much stress and even more things to do! I/We will be very busy in the month of April setting things up so I will NOT be opening commissions. I am already behind on some work from this month so I will be finishing up that and doing my patreon normal as well.
And the 14th is my 21st birthday! So we will probably be watching movies/gaming while doin a few drinks! Speaking of, if you guys have any suggestions on some simple drinks I could buy/mix at home (that are good starters) then I'd love to hear em!
I will keep you up to date but overall I'm equally excited as I am nervous over these new life changes.

I need advice/help on US Taxes...
Posted 4 years agoSo, this isn't the most fun topic, but I really feel like hearing from others would be the best thing.
This is the first time I've filed taxes and admittedly I am overwhelmed. I know it will get easier and I have learned a lot more in the last few days than I ever have but I just need to hear from other artists/freelancers and their experience.
I know that paypal and Patreon gives you tax forms, but only when you make a certain amount. Last year I did not make enough through either for them to give me a tax doc of my earnings. However, the sum together I have earned, I am unsure if it would require me to file taxes at all this year. What is the threshold of yearly income I need to pass to file them and not get myself in trouble?
If I haven't passed that threshold, should I even bother with filing at all for 2021?
Ive seen around that lots of self employed artists use form 1099, but isnt that for ppl with a single income? Does patreon and paypal count as separate? Also since I do not gain enough from paypal to give a 1099, do I even deal with that?
1040 schedule C was brought to my attention that it might fit me best and calculates your tax return. Even if I don't necessarily need to file, should I fill this out anyway and file to have it on records?
I am more than alright to open this to DMs and communicate more personal info to ppl I trust, but this journal might help other people facing similar issues/questions.

I will not be opening commissions for the month of February. This month I have bitten off more than I can chew, and I still have 2 commissions still to finish. I really just thought I could finish the work I took, however I have fallen behind and am really starting to feel the burn out, something I wan't to avoid at all costs. If I let it go too far, I am afraid of ruining my drive for art for an unprecedented amount of time. No one wants that! So I think it is time for a break to catch up. I was so eager to recover from Miza's visit and some car repair payments that I wanted to take anything/everything I could get without realizing how exhausted I was. Usually it doesn't take me long to recover <3
That being said, IF I can get caught up and feel motivated, my partner and I might do some collab commissions! They will not be full drawings however, we just wanna test the waters. Icons close ups, that sort of stuff! If that is anything that interests you let me know! We've always wanted to try it! If not this month, next month for sure!
Patreon will not be affected <3
Last note, some of you may have realized that I've updated my TRELLO. I have all status of all works there! Keep up with my work in real time! Im usually good at updating it xD.
