Hey, folks and folkettes!

I'd like to thank everyone who went along with me on this bidding process through dA so far. I know it's more of a Furaffinity thing (as far as I can tell), and I was honestly very surprised with the end results. I'll be working hard on these over the course of the month! Of course, that means standard commissions are closed for the rest of the month- but don't worry, I think I'll do one more month of standard commission work before I take a break for a while, and I'll make sure everyone's work is done with and more than satisfactory.

That said, bidding for the next three pics will start once I put them up on Deviantart. Same rules apply! As usual, folks, a reminder: only bid after you've looked through my gallery and read my methods and preferences! Everyone's got their method and madness.

Needless to say, it'll be pretty quiet on my end this month in the way of posted submissions since a lot of what I'm working on is reserved for the month of June. I'll still need my randomness and personal creativity outlets, though, so there will me more streaming happening. To those who like soothing music, cute artwork and terrible jokes, I invite you to join. I'll post my stream times up here, as usual.

So my last journal rant seemed to polarize some people, and I felt I needed to clarify things.

Just because I don't plan on a Patreon, doesn't mean I don't like the idea!

Some Patreon artists have done incredible things. Toddlergirl/BabyStar on FA has been able to work on TWO comic series, commissions and streams thanks to the income. Her fans have really helped her out, and that's a wonderful thing to see! As for me personally, I know my limits and will only open a Patreon when I feel I've reached a skill and dedication level to offer not only constant art and future story ideas, but perks and things like wallpapers, sprite icons, extra things I normally would have no time to provide.

So yes-if you have a favorite artist you want to help or see progress, by all means, support them. This is a small niche, but you can help those you approve of and want to see grow (in the metaphorical sense, you little stinkers).

Okay, I think that should cover it. Possible stream later this week, I'll keep you guys updated. May commissions being worked on, as well as some enticing Butt Month stuff to be shown in June.

Hey, males, females, and the diversely categorized! Thought I'd drop in with some progress notes.


The last few commissions I have for April are all 2+ character stuff and my day job is picking up at the end of the week, so you guys might see a lull in my work until the weekend. Chin up, they're still being worked on.

Now, this ol' tin can has seen trends come and go, and while he's not fond of learning new tricks, sometimes he hears the way the wind's blowin'. So here's my thoughts on some current trends among the niche and FA in general.

Patreon: Hoo, boy the Patreon. You're an artist, you get yerself a Patreon. "SUPPORT ME!" Hey, that's all well and good. If you like an artist and want to keep food on their table, you Patrize them up. Will I be doing it? ....Nnnno. Not now, at least. I'd rather just get paid for when I do my work, and I do have a day job, so that's enough for me. I do have plans for the future- a full bio and story arc for the Nekotykes, and like FIVE comic ideas, but I'd rather get them all on paper, scripted and roughed before I even think of making people pay for progress by month. Even then, I think I'd rather just work on it, have something done, and then offer it to the public at a reasonable price. If you guys want to Patreize me, I wouldn't stop you. But not until I have something strong, well done and constant for you all.

YCH: This, now, seems interesting. It took a while for me to think of how to work this in, and I may have an idea. June is coming up, and for those who enjoy it, that means Butt Month. This time, I'm offering six (count'em, six) YCH slots to be worked on and revealed during May. If you've wanted your character featured in Butt Month and have some spare dough to throw at me, you pick one of those up!

Streaming: I've been doing this more often, and I gotta admit I'm on the fence with these. On the one hand, it's fun, liberating and really frees up the creativity. Plus you all get to see my stupid humor first hand and YOU CAN'T LEAVE. AH HA HA HA HA. On the other hand, I've seen people get upset that their suggestion wasn't drawn during streams a few times. Now I don't know how streams work in other corners, but I must insist: If I say in my stream announcement and during the stream that I'm taking suggestions, not requests, it means I'm doing my own thing and picking what sounds interesting in between. I'm sorry if people get fussy about the way I do things, but for me streams are a way to relax and sketch as many cute things that I can think of.

Mind you, this one's going to be a bit different.

I'm seeing about making a new set of character types. The Nekotykes are fun, but there's definitely a "Look! I bit off of Capcom!" feel to them. So, I'm going to change up some designs.

The basic gist! I'll be taking animals and redrawing them in my experimental look. No requests for OC or already done characters or situations. This is a relaxation and personal experiment stream, so if you don't mind just watching me make art, then feel free to pop in.

You CAN, however, suggest animals for me to draw. In fact, I encourage it!

Also, some other stuff:

April commission slots are full, but if you've got something you want for May, hit me up. And we all know what happens in June. .....OR DO WE. NEW PLANS LOOM IN THE BACKGROUND!

Butt Month continues on dA, and has me thinking of making a PDF comic. Nothing huge or expensive, maybe a five to seven page bit for a buck or two.

If I do, which would you freaky fetishy folk rather see?

A busty, nerdy explorer being held captive by the guardian nymph of the Fountain of Youth?

Gelato and Lannith in some shameless yaoi action?

Or a troubled trainee's daily trials with her kitty baby boss Kylie?

Again, this is all scrambled up in my brain right now, but it's worth noting.

So I'm doing a little practice day by day to keep in the swing of things, and a friend noted how a lot of my recent pics had the same focus: Diapered rears.
