This is a placement

Hello, yes. I am not dead
Posted 12 years agoSo I understand it's been a long time since I've uploaded anything and I'm actually about to upload a quick doodle I just did but anyway, sorry I haven't been around for a while. Basically I've been just slacking on uploading stuff, so I might scan a number of things from my sketchbook and color it or just upload the scans here.
Also I'm not going to be taking commissions after I finish this thing a local friend of mine commissioned me for. I want to take some time and get back into drawing in general while learning a bit more about figure drawing, anatomy, etc.
Lastly I'm at some point going to update my profile info/biography/whatever because it's so out of sync with my current self that it's slightly funny.

Commission info stuff
Posted 12 years agoHow commissions work with me
Commissioning process:
1) The commissioner will ask me for a commission.
2) If I'm open for commissions (which should be listed in my profile info) I will respond asking what you'd like drawn.
3) The commissioner will respond with what they want drawn.
4) I will respond with if I am willing to draw what's requested and the price I will ask for the commission.
5) I will start the commission when I'm ready. You can check the status of your commission in my journal signature or in my profile info.
6) When I'm finished with the commission, I will provide the commissioner with a thumbnail of the finished product.
7) After receiving the thumbnail, the commissioner pay the commission price
8) The commissioner will receive the full-sized image
Refunds and Cancellation:
If the commissioner decides that he/she wants to cancel their commission before it's complete, I'll cancel the process and I'll keep the file in case the commissioner wants me to start it again for the originally agreed-upon price
Dos and Don'ts:
Dos
-Feel free to ask me questions
-Be polite
-Give me either a decent description or, even better, a ref sheet or a few images of your character that I can use as references.
-Please credit me if you post my artwork elsewhere. (EG proper tagging on e621/e926 or linking back to the source if posted on a facebook page/tumblr blog)
Don'ts
-Please don't constantly ask me about progress. I will update the information in my journal signature and in my profile info.
-Please try not to be mean in general. I don't consider criticism to be mean as long as it's criticism and not just "this sucks, make it better."
-Please don't sell my artwork for a profit. I haven't heard of this happening yet, but I would prefer it didn't happen.
Small disclaimer:
There are some things that I haven't drawn before and I might not draw them very well. I will inform you of this if I am still willing to draw what you want me to draw, so just be wary of that.
When did this happen?
Posted 12 years agoSo I have apparently hit 1,000 page views o.o
Huh. Well awesome!
Thanks you guys :3
More art is on the way, but I'll be posting it after the whole batch is done.

Level Up! Age 18 Achieved!
Posted 13 years agoSo yeah. Now that I'm 18, I'll be turning my filter off now.
If my parents see bad things then they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sucks for them :3

Yeah so rainfurrest.
Posted 13 years agoIt looks as if I'm not going.
Some choir stuff is in the way and I can ask if I can skip it in order to go to rainfurrest but I'm betting she'll say no. If this is not the case and I somehow get her to say I can go, I'll make a new journal saying that I can go, but I wouldn't hold your breath, because unlike most school events at the beginning of the year, this is actually an important trip, which is why I'm pretty sure she'll say no to skipping the trip to hang out with friends.
So I'm sorry I can't make it. I'm pretty bummed about it.

A year's time
Posted 13 years agoHmm. Well this is strange. I just looked through and counted my submissions in a year's time spent actually sharing art on this site. I have 24 submissions, which averages out to 2 submissions per month, but the strange (but not bad thing at all) is that 10 of them (about 5/12, almost half) were released within the past month. And 8 of them are drawings that I've done in just the past week. I think this just means I've gotten reason to start drawing again.
So because of that, I'm going to open 4 slots for full-color requests. One slot per person. These will all be clean. I am 17 and as such I will get banned on FA for drawing adult art. I will keep track of all of them on this Journal and release them when they get done (I don't know how fast that will be).
TL;DR version: I'm feeling artistic and I'm opening requests for 4 people.
Slot 1:

Slot 2:

Slot 3:

Please leave a comment or send me a note explaining what you want.

My body is slowly turning to dust...
Posted 14 years agoYeah. So. Today was my birthday. It was a pretty good day as far as birthdays go. I guess I can say that I'm getting old. So old, that my gray hairs are falling off and I'm slowly doing bald. Soon, I'm going to get a facelift and get botox injections so that I won't continue to see my youth fading before my eyes.
Turning 17 is so complicated.

Baby fucking squirrels
Posted 14 years agoSo last weekend on Saturday, I went out with my queerfriend (ze prefers to be called a queerfriend/transfriend rather than boyfriend because ze's gender-fluid) to a meet with a bunch of awesome people who own birds of various types, mainly parrots. While we were there, there happened to be a woman who worked for an animal rescue-type place. We released ducks into the lake outside the house we were at.
Turns out that she'd released ducks there in the past, several times. She also had baby squirrels with her. Baby. Fucking. Squirrels. She had actually invited us to feed them. So I did. They were the cutest things I'd ever seen in my life.
Basically, I got to not only hold baby squirrels, but I got to feed them via a syringe, but it was more voluntary by them than it was by me. They used their little paws to grab the syringe while I was holding it. It was, again, the cutest thing ever. EVER.
If that wasn't on anyone's bucket list to feed baby squirrels, PUT IT ON THERE! IT IS AMAZING!
Yeah. That's pretty much it.
