Help with CSP brushes??
Posted 5 years agoI have a specific brush that I use for my coloring on SAI but as of recently, I can no longer run SAI on my laptop so I've switched over to CSP. Unfortunately - I'm so very confused as to get the same kind of brush effect as I have on SAI onto CSP

I want a brush that has the airbrush quality on SAI, soft edges, opacity around 80%
Like I can easily get it on SAI but idk how to remake it on a new program, please send help ; ; β Update! β
Posted 6 years agoThis coming week I'll be starting my last full-year of college! With this coming spring semester, I'll be starting to first ever internship on campus and while Im very very excited and thankful, I also realize this is going to create some challenges regarding personal life/art and my schooling.
I want to be optimistic but also realistic, I'm unsure if I'll be able to open commissions in the foreseeable future, BUT that does not mean I'll be no longer be doing commissions. I'm hoping to still be able to take smaller commissions or take commissions based on interest (IE: how fast can I complete it, is this something I'd want to draw, etc.) For the most part, I see myself only doing adopts or YCH's for the time being.
I'll be finish up all the commissions I have currently in my queue, but I wanted to take a quick second to apologize to anyone who was hoping to get a commission this winter break, I thought I would've had more time to take more but it's proven me wrong. Thankfully, after this semester, I'll be able to dedicate full-time to art once I'm out of school! And I'm so close to being done with school completely!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, all the new faces I've gotten to me, and just everything! I'm so hopeful and optimistic for the future, I can't wait for what new journeys I'll stumble upon next! BAD NEWS: Car Accident
Posted 6 years agoLast night while my boyfriend was on his way to pick up our close friend (lives around 3 1/2hrs from where we live) to celebrate his birthday this weekend, my boyfriend totaled his car hitting a deer.
Don't worry - my boyfriend is 100% fine and safe!
He is EXTREMELY lucky he is okay during the accident none of the air bags went off, his seatbelt never locked, and he was driving blind (no headlights) with no brakes after collision on the highway, a few miles before the dead-zone for cellphone reception and this was all after hitting the deer at 70mph with only a split second to break even slightly.
Important thing is that he's okay and I can't believe I almost lost my partner last night :/ Unfortunately, this also means we are without a vehicle which also means we have no transportation to college, stores, etc.
At this moment we're seeing if any one of our friends or family could lend us their vehicle for this week while we figure out insurance stuff and look into getting a new vehicle.
I'm honestly not sure how much we will be covered at this moment or how much we will have to spend to get a new car :/ we are college students and we don't exactly have money outside of paying rent and bills...
We're still making phone calls and emails to our professors so until then, we find out more insurance stuff monday and depending how things go, I might have to open up for commissions or sell more adopts or ask for donations or anything ; ;

Posted 6 years ago[center]This weekend is my boyfriends mothers birthday and as some may know my boyfriends family is 4 hours away away from where i live. Ill be leaving today to visit my bfs family and ill be returning on Saturday or Sunday.
Ill be working on commissions during this time when im able too but currently im in the progress of getting a new job. My boyfriend starts his new job come monday and I have an interview later on today. Im hoping to continue working on art while working during the summer. I do not plan to work many hours as art is also my second job and Ill be taking summer courses for college.
While i may be busy, I plan to hold a raffle when I return, some YCHs and adopts! Im not quite sure what my plans will be for commission opennings besides accepting a few on interest basis due to current plans.
Ill be making another proper journal depicting what I have in mind for this summer, but until then i plan to finish what is left of my queue as quickly as possible.

Posted 6 years ago School is almost over!! And with this upcoming news, means a bunch of different stuff!!
So in past years, I've had to get a work long hours during the Summer because during the school year, I am a full-time student. This summer, my boyfriend and I are continuing school partially through the summer at more relaxed rate, but still students We will also be looking for a job (ideally an internship) - but the main point is that because I'll be still a student during the summer, I can look mainly for an internship rather than any job just so I can afford my apartment in the summer lol.
But because I won't have to work extensively, I'm hoping to do some fun things soon!

This summer I'd really like to focus on more personal art rather than being burnt out with commissions. I'd also like to do a lot more gifts and free art streams!! Posted 6 years agoI have to prep for my upcoming college finals this weekend which includes getting a kick start on my final projects. I'll be going to my boyfriend's families house which is quite a drive from where I currently live, but I need to film some footage by there place for my project. Sadly it means possibly missing my family for the holidays (Even my boyfriend's family won't be spending Easter with us), but unfortunately I really need to get this start on my college assignments.
I'll be taking care of commissions when I come back and tackling the more important things first so that I can ease out of this year of college <3! I've got a good start on things, just have to get going on it.
(I've also been donating plasma as of lately and it kind of throws my drawing and my whole body a bit off for the day. Trying to get use to my new routine since I've been actively trying to get into better health with my boyfriend which means exercising, ugh xD im so weak rip. I apologize in advance for my absences or messy work schedule )
I hope everyone has a great holiday this weekend!!

Posted 6 years agoI'm so sad to say that my trip to Vancouver for "Vancoufur" is over. I had SOOO much fun meeting my long time friend, coffaefox, her boyfriend and her family! They are so nice and funny, and tall ff- why must I be so short xD!

Posted 6 years agoI'm back from vacation! Ah! I'm so happy, the trip was amazing and I just can't express how beautiful this adventure was!
I got to snorkel in coral reefs, see tons of schools of fish, rode a horse up a volcano/mountain, ate various foods and so much more!
The entire trip I slept only for 3-4 hrs each day, some days even less. So now that I am home... IM SO DAMN TIRED. I legit just slept for 15 hrs. Did I also mention I came home to my state which is currently like -50'f (including windchill). Let's just say I'm very cold and tired, and i think im coming down with a cold?? (Thank goodness I'm already back home tho)
Anyway - in regards to commissions. I will NOT be accepting any new commissions for awhile. Sorry for the inconvenience but since the mini hiatus - i don't feel comfortable jumping back into art. BUT I do plan to continue doing adopts/PWYW streams AND freebie streams!
Who knows - maybe I will open soon, but I'll be starting my college semester a bit late due to my vacation which means I want to focus solely on my college. I hope you all understand!

I will be inactive/very little activity until the beginning of February 2019.

I will be gone for a good majority of the month. Beginning of this month will be spent packing/making adopts/getting ready for my trip, Jan. 17th (β€οΈ My boyfriends and mom's birthday β€οΈ) til Jan 28th - I will be in the Philippines visiting not only my own family, but my boyfriends family as well over seas.
When I return home - I'll be focusing hard on schooling (I will be missing a few days of school for this trip - hence my urgency to get back into school)
I will possibly be posting some adopts soon to get some more pocket money before I leave! But as for those who will be awaiting commissions - I will be gone for a little bit and will have to post pone opening commissions for awhile (I also need to update my commission prices for 2019) Future Adopt Idea?
Posted 7 years agoWould anyone be interested in a "Palette/Egg Adopt" featured in teirs?
It'd be I'd have a few egg/palette style adopts based around a theme - and you'd be buying off of a tier list. Kind of like a pick and choose - different prices get you different amount of stuff + specifics on your adopt.
The adopts would be artistic freedom for the design, but you'd have a set color palette from the adopt and you'd be able to pick body-type/gender/species.
Would this be of something of interest?

Holy cats am I tired!!
Posted 7 years agoThis past few days I was staying at my boyfriends parents house who is currently having their house under construction which meant early every morning until the afternoon - guys were drilling holes in the room right above where me and my boyfriend were sleeping. Oof - forgot ear plugs xD kind of forgot about the construction
Then on our way back to our house - my boyfriends parents wanted us to drive their car down to a city (sort of) on the way to our place. It's actually kind of an hr out of our way but whatever. WELL - they didn't give us the gas cap key (a key meant to open your gas cap, some older cars have it). So we ran out of gas and had to wait for his parents to give us the key which took WAAAY to long.
So by the time we get to the town (not our house yet) - it's like 10pm. So we decide to stay in the town for a bit since we're tired and we have friends there. So we hung out with friends and then leave around 2-3am. We got home at 4am and we had to leave to help my brother the "next day" at 8am to move into his new apartment.
Let's just say my morning went like this...
Wakes up. Boyfriend asks if he can stay and not go to my brothers place because he's tired. I break down crying cuz im running on 3-4hrs of sleep. He comes along cause I was sad xD - THEN I was feeling really sick cuz we we're out in the cold like the whole day. So i puked on the way to my brothers apartment on the side of the road.
And in the end - i still helped my brother move his couch, mattress and all his stuff. I even bought myself a cat poster today to match my "Pug Edition - The Great Wave off Kanagawa" tapestry LOL
Finally am home at 5pm. But I don't plan to go to bed yet because I have school and it'd fuck up my sleep cycle AGAIN - so RIP

Posted 7 years agoIn the past recent years, I haven't been actively participating in holiday events in the art community. This year I want to change that!
This year I'm hoping to participate in the 2018 - "Art or Treat" event in which people can experience "Trick or Treating" through the art community!

On the 21st through the 31st of October, post a journal/tweet/etc that's called "LIGHTS ON"
This shows that your "porch light" is on and you're accepting Trick or Treaters.
People can come to your journal/tweet/etc and comment "Trick or Treat!" or whatever other code word you'd like to use.
At which point, the creator of the journal can offer up art as treats for those who comment. They don't have to have it as first come first serve, and they don't have to do everyone who comments either!
And, as to not overwhelm people, you can set a limit as to how many trick or treaters you'll take.
Everyone runs out of candy eventually! Once you hit your limit you can change your journal to Lights off or closed, etc.
I feel this could be a chance for some people to get some art and have fun while doing it as well~
Also, please don't be greedy! Be courteous to your other Trick or Treaters!

Posted 7 years agoToday was my last day at work before I start my third year of college! September 4th is the first day of my college semester!
What this means is... I can finally come back and do art!! WOO! That means all art that is currently in my queue (to-do list) will be finished relatively soon! I have a few days until college starts and I plan to use every minute to finish up my owed art!
Once all my owed art is finished - I'll be posting some "Fall Themed" YCH's!!
(Not quite sure if I'll do a multi-YCH batch of chibis or one solo anthro thigh-up YCH. Let me know which you like better!)
Commissions from this point forward will be done differently too. I am going to do more YCH's and limited slots for commissions (one or two slots). I hope to be adding "Telegram Stickers" to my commissions list too!
I also am planning a raffle for both my twitter and FA account once I reach 2,000 watchers on FA!
Bunch of stuff I want to do once my list is cleared up! But I'm so excited to start doing art again! (Also hoping this year of college goes by easy xD!)

In regards to my current job, I am hoping to change my work schedule to only one day of the week for very minimal hours so I can retain my job, do college and art. (If I am unable to get these hours tho for my job, I'll most likely be quitting my current job and going back to art strictly)
Because of my changes for this coming school year, I'll be managing my commissions differently and setting work times for art so that I have a better social life outside of art and work. Future Raffle??
Posted 7 years agoi just noticed Im almost at 2,000 watchers on FA! Sooo happy that i made it this far!!
Im so thankful and happy to see all the progress ive made over the years. Im also very thankful for everyone who has supported me this far!
As most know - im still currently working but once I hit me 2,000 watcher goal Ill be hosting a raffle to celebrate once the scholl year starts and I resume art!
Im not quite sure what to do for the rewards of the raffle, I want to do two winners. One winner for those watching me on FA and then another raffle for those who watch me on twitter.
Depending on how big or how small the rewards are will determine how many winners Ill do <3!
(Was thinking maybe a thigh up picture or some telegram stickers or a choice <3)
(Also I plan on doing some water themed adopts soon hehe)
