General | Posted 8 years agoc: No body cares about what I got to say, but I'ma say it anyway! WOOOO!! (Also I woke up at a decent time for once and am motivated #madeanamazingbreakfast)
1. What are 3 things you want to do before you die?
- Travel the world

- Own a doggo (I really love dogs)
2. What's one thing you desperately want to see/witness?
- I really want to take a hot bath (like a hot tub) under the stars during a full moon in some place mystical.
3. What's something you desperately want, but is impossible/unrealistic?
- I've always wished I could turn into an animal or talk to animals. c:
4. What is your greatest achievement?
- I rarely see anything as an achievement for myself, hell, waking up is a damn achievement xD But my dad would always look at everything I did and tell me how amazing and proud he was of me. So tbh, I don't mind if I see even the smallest things as an achievement, because at the end of the day. I'm content with what I do c:
(If I had to pick one great achievement, it is making it to where I am now. Going to college, renting an apartment and being able to draw for people and myself <3)
5. What skill do you wish you had above all others?
- I suppose I can already do this, but I'd love to draw better haha. I love drawing and I know it takes practice, but if I could be a master already. I want that!
6. If you could go back in time to tell yourself one thing, what would it be?
- Nothing actually, anything I could say to myself may change how I am now. I know I went through ALOT of misery that probably was unnecessary, but it brought me some cool people in my life. If I had to tell my past self something tho, I'd go back a year ago and tell my past self not to eat so much damn shit in college. And to tell my past self to make that last phone call with my dad worth it. (it was worth it even now, but I wish I could've talked to him even a second longer <3 #thefeels)

- You've always been there for me, and I don't know what I ever did to deserved an amazing person like you. I know the person will know who they are when I say, you are one of my greatest friends and no matter what I did you saw the positives in me. Anyway! Wanted to let you all know that my first week of spring semester went good (if you know me then U know I get soooo anxious every 1st week of any semester ><)
I also wanted to let you guys know that if you have any questions about your commissions/ych/etc, I keep my trello (queue) updated nearly 90% of the time (the other 10% is that I fell asleep and forgot haha)

College Update / Commissions - Starting Jan. 22
General | Posted 8 years agoSo as many of you are aware, I'm a college student, and the difference from last semester and this semester is that I'll be taking 5 classes (all in person/in-classroom) instead of 4 classes (last semester one of my classes was online).
What that means is I'll be ALOT more busy with college. Which means I'm going to be changing how I do commissions. Currently I've been acceptting commissions via notes + journal. But for the most part I want to stick to journal methods because I don't want to overload myself.
I'll also be updating my prices and trello! <3 just something to keep in mind!
The reason I become so busy isn't JUST because of college, but I also am the main person who cooks food for two other guys and does laundry (ud be surprised how fast this apartment gets dirty). So ; ; Alas, the break has been fun! But alas, gotta focus on college too.
Here are my class times during the week:
Mon + Wed + Fri: 10am-3pm
Tues + Thurs: 11am - 2pm

General | Posted 8 years agoI streamed last night, but due to it being so late and problems with my back/arm, I had to stop!
So! I'm about to drop off my roommate to work and then I'm going to play a league game <3 So I'll probably be streaming in 2hrs? (6pm CST, give or take a few)
I haven't been feeling the best due to odd dizziness, back pain and pain in my right arm >< so! I'm hoping to overcome that all and be able to get a decent stream in!
Not taking commissions at this time ^^ just doing owed art!

Story Time with Ashie!
General | Posted 8 years agoOkay so, my boyfriend (Appa) and I (Ashie) decided today was the day we start our work out (we've been trying for a long time been each time has failed, mainly cuz we lack motivation LOL)
Anyway, so we were planning on going to the gym (but realized, why are we working out when we are literally going on break tomorrow for a week or so lol)
So instead we decided to run/walk to the gym which is about 2 miles. So not too long. (if you know me, i run half a block and die inside, im NOT athletic at all, all my weight is in my ass and proud of it rofl)
So we get to the store, and Appa's like, lets buy some medicine while were here. So while he buys medicine, i go off and stare at cookies (yes, running deserves cookies). While picking up the cookies, i manage to drop another tin of cookies all over the floor. Which i immediately say "WASNT ME!" and the people at the counter burst out laughing.
One of the workers helps me clean it up in which hes like, oh id love to eat these cookies, too bad theres cameras in the store.... I mean theirs cameras everywhere... Micro-cameras... Microphones... O.O *stares me in the eyes like their watching*
Anyway, Appa brings to my attention, why are we buying stuff when we have to run/walk about with it xD so we leave our stuff there so we can run and get the car.
When we get back we ended up buy medicine and cookies..... and a tub of ice cream... cheese... chips... salsa.... a bunch of other shit we dont need but deserve because we ran 2 miles. All of which added up to a total of $50.
MORAL OF THIS STORY: I went to the store the first time just to drop a tin of cookies, only to return and buy $50 worth of junk food because two miles of running deserves that. Yup.

General | Posted 8 years agoThe next few weeks are going to be big for me <3 so I wanted to post a journal explaining it a bit! Not really an important journal, but its been on my mind so c: thought I'd make one!

I wanted to start off by saying, thank you, to everyone who has supported me thus far <3 I am so thankful for everyone of you! I never would of thought I'd make it to 1,500 watchers >< Hell... It took me 3 years to reach that much support on DeviantArt, and that was many years ago. I never would of thought I would be doing art like how I am now, it feels like it was just yesterday that I made my first sona, like wow.
I've gotten alot of tips and support in this past year, as well as a number of struggles. Such as learning to interact with the community, juggling school and free-time, hell, this is my first year living on my own (not including the college dorms).
I hope to be able to continue doing what I love here, and I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me, it means the world!

Now that December is approaching, that means a few things.
1. Exams
Because I am in college, it means that final exams are nearing. Which means I may be slow to responding to comments/notes/etc, as well as I may lose alot of motivation due to stress >< ... It's happened in the past, so fair warning!
3. Closed Commissions
Along with exams means, closed commissions. I've had a few people message me regarding if I am open ^^" And although I LOVE christmas commissions!! and I REALLY want to do them! I can't >< finals + commissioned = disaster (trust me). So as of currently, all of my commissions are CLOSED. They will reopen in January with NEW prices and a new format!! I'm currently working on setting up alot of stuff to help me make my work habits better and easier!
With that being said, I am still planning on taking maybe a few IN-STREAM commissions or through journal, so <3 keep an eye out for those! I'm planning on doing those AFTER finals tho!
2. Winter Break
And speaking about winter break, once I am finished with school stuff, I really want to do more art <3 work on my website and be more interactive with you guys! I want to do alot of streams during winter break!

I'm basing alot of my goals/patreon on Poofylion's setup, meaning I want patreon to be worth it for the patrons! Meaning I'll be giving 15% discounts on commissioners to certain tiers as well as "In-Stream Free Chibis" to certain tiers too!

But! Seeing as today is the last day for my break <3 I'm going to be streaming! I'm going to finish one of my commissions and then start on another one first. Then afterwards, I'd LOVE to do some christmas themed freebies!!
I'm in a bit of a toss-up what I'll be doing for the freebies (IE: chibis or headshots/etc), so for the most part, the freebies are going to be "Artistic Freedom" (aka: I'm choosing the pose/style/etc. You supply me with the character and maybe a theme <3)
I'm hoping to be streaming in an hour, 12:45pm CST c: Currently making breakfest!

I hope everyone had a great holiday break for those in the United States c: !! I went up to my boyfriends parents house for the holidays (which is about 4 hours away from where I currently live/go to college)
Did I ever mention his mom is a cook? And a GREAT cook at that omg. She is a one-woman cooking force that is not to be reckoned with! While up there I got to watch two scary movies and then some c: I also saw 'Justice' League also! I had a great time this past week <3
My bf also bought me 'Pokemon: Ultra Sun'!! So I've been playing that all day LOL, tomorrow I plan on finishing atleast one of my owed art xD
Finally have some time to look through my notes too c:

General | Posted 8 years agoThis is just a heads-up prior to changing my commission prices, commission sheet/form and queue!
As you know, Fall and Winter are two of my favorite Holidays! But as the new year approaches, that means a new start! This year was my first full year on FurAffinity and actually using it and becoming familiar with the community!
In the early months of 2018 (preferably January) I'll be changing my prices, the way I take commissions and possibly how I update my queue! If you have any tips or comments as to how I do them now or what I should consider in the future, feel free to comment below <3

Anthro vs Feral Artist?
General | Posted 8 years agoLast night it occured to me, how much of an artist I have changed. I use to be strictly a feral artist.
Now look at me?? I havent drawn feral in forever. And honestly,
I kind of miss it hm...
I think, on the side of regular commissions, I want to do some more feral art for free time. More personal art of course but,
its quite amazing how when you change art communities, your art style can change and all.

A year ago today; I called you at 8:00pm, and heard your voice just like any other day.
A year ago today; you told me you loved me and how proud you were of me for the last time.
A year ago today; we made plans to hang out, see a movie, get dinner.
A year ago today; three hours after our phone call, you moved on to bigger and better things.
A year ago today; I lost one of the greatest people in my life, my dad.
People tell me, I handled it so well. That they could never go through what I went through or that they can't imagine. You told me not to be sad when you were gone, my entire life you prepared me for this moment, yet even now it's still hard. You told me you to be happy everyday, no matter what it takes, and to always be proud of myself. Maybe that's why I "handled it so well", because you told me to be happy.
Truth is, I miss you so much. And thing is, deep down, I feel like I was cheated, I only was able to have 18 years spent with you. But then I remember, I am so thankful I even had that much time. Everyday you made me laugh and smile. Id kill to have one last moment with you. I never would've thought that I'd be one of the last people to talk to you, if I had known, there would be been so much more I'd say. Id tell you how thankful I am that you raised me to be so kind and full of laughter. Id tell you that I am so proud to call you my dad.
I know Im being strong, being the girl you were proud to call your daughter. But even still, this one day, I can't help but say...

General | Posted 8 years agoAs of recently, I've been feeling more and more discouraged with my art, like I know what I want to fix and I wish to practice more <3
And as commissions come in, I'm currently in college so it takes me slightly longer to make sure I have commissions finished AND still be on track with my studying SO
I was curious, if you'd be interested in In-Stream, Waist Up commissions
(You dont actually have to attend the stream, but the stream gives me motivation)
They'd have minor/little to no shading tho, I'd be adding minor backgrounds however for a total of $35.
What do you guys think?? If i get positive responses, I'll try to do it by the end of the week <3, otherwise if people don't like the idea I'll delete the journal and all so ^^ lol! Test and Trial! Burglar??
General | Posted 8 years agoAs stated in my previous journal, this past two days I was away in a cabin without any wifi. And may I just add, it was AMAZING! Made smores (tho it was a gloomy weekend and rained), went kayaking, boating, caught a bunch of fish!
ANYWAY, while we were there, the next door neighbor's house was broken into WHILE we were right next door.
And here's what happened!!
So me and my bf arrived at the cabin at 6-7pm, we went down to the lake (right in the backyard) when we saw the "neighbors"
which was 2 girls and 2 guys, around the same age as us (19yrs-23yrs, college age). They were playing beer pong, nothing out of the ordinary. The girls were wearing short shorts with a bikini top and the guys were shirtless but it was already pretty dark so we didn't see much features (btw, its like 60'F, so its too cold for this attire lol)
8-9pm rolls around and were eating burgers by the fire when one of the girls comes over to the fence drunk and asks us to take their picture. 1st. Rude xD we were eating, 2. we were so hesitant because this is just some drunk stranger. So we say yeah maybe later and remind us.
ANYWAY, they continue partying and I go to bed around 11pm. Next day we get a knock on the door from a strange man saying his house was broken into. Of course we were nervous so we didn't tell him our names or anything. Later on we go downt to the lake to find cops at the neighbors house.
TURNS OUT the "neighbors" were burglars, they had broken into the ACTUAL neighbors house (the strange man) and his own tool shed and decided to throw a party.
Oddly enough the burglars did the dishes and took out the trash lol (and no, the man does NOT have kids or anyone who would have kids who would be "borrowing" his house)
We filled out a report with the cops and everything, but omg, its amazing what can happen. What happens normal was actually not. Makes u feel a little on edge to think how easy it was. Mini Update + Important Info + Commissioners/YCH's

For the Future
Next month I start my 2nd year of college. This time I will be working while attending school. I still plan on doing things as normal <3 I just may be a little slow or forgetful so be patient. My brother has this awesome shirt that has a banana slipping on itself, and well ANYWAY, he bought it like 8 yrs ago and now it no longer fits. But it's legit his favorite shirt and I feel bad cuz I walk around in it still cuz it fits me and everytime he seems me he says "man I wish I could still wear that shirt"
ANYWAY, its his birthday in 3 days and Id LOVE to order him another shirt. HOWEVER, I have no idea where he got it!! I found it online here http://www.birdfight.com/slippy-banana-t-shirt/ (exact same shirt too!) but I dont know how or where to order it???

General | Posted 8 years agoI have some exciting news! I'll be moving to my first apartment (living on my own officially other than when I lived in the dorms last year)! I'll be moving in with my bf and one of our close friends. I'll be moving in Aug 1st and be moving all our stuff/setting up that whole week. Then on Aug 6th I start working at my new job location <3
With that being said, I'm going to be VERY busy. This week I have family over still, but I am planning on finishing all of my commissions. At the very least, starting on all of them. I have my laptop now! So I am capable of doing my commissions way more comfortabley! Sadly though, I do not have all my brushes and information on this computer anymore (they had to restart it when they fixed it) so I'll have to reinstall everything. Oh well
Anyway! Here's too a fresh beginning! I apologize if I may be slow to respond and such, the month of August is going to be really busy (setting up for college/moving/work/etc) but I'll still be available for commissions and stuff <3
Hoping August goes by smoothly... August 8th was my fathers birthday. Seems still so surreal to me.. Hoping to do something fun even tho he won't be around to celebrate.

On some other news! My bf and I just got done buying majority of our furniture! We are currently 75% done with sanding + repainting the furniture (the old color was gross lol, black is much for fitting). We go pick up the dressor tomorrow <3 and buy all the other junk too. We also took a mini break and went to Six Flags with my brother and his brother! Was so much fun!
(Did I mention I nearly passed out just when I was about to board a roller coaster LOL. I was MEGA dehydrated, my arms went tingly, my vision went black lol, yeah, my brother had to escort me off the ride xD so embarassing! On the bright side! I had so much fun!)
I'm ready to plow thru commissions and work! Lets do this!
Life + Boyfriend's Birthday!
General | Posted 9 years agoSo, in 6 days (Jan. 17th) is my bf's birthday! Sadly this year, it is also accompanied by the start of our 2nd college semester. Which means I can't take him out for his birthday this year. Which is alright!
He really wants a Polaroid camera for his birthday, and sadly, I'm not quite sure where to buy a good one and one that isnt "girly" xD
Also.. This year our funds are low due to bills and such (bf doesn't know how to handle money rofl), ug life
So I'm hoping to save up as much as I can so we don't have to struggle so much with his finances.
On a side note, with the new college semester coming up, comes along alot of panic for me haha, new classes, new routines, new people.
All of which are alot for me to take in.. Which means my art may be slow and all that jazz while I figure things out.
Here's to a new year! Let's hope its better than the last.
