Just a quickie
Posted 18 years agoI've to be fairly quick 'cos I'm in an inernet café and it's pretty expensive... oh, and I'm typing using a foreign keyboard and all of the keys are mixed up and it's so odd...
The holiday has been AMAZING so far and I'e been loing eery minute. I had 333 submissions and 77 journals to read... So, I'm gunna read/view them all when I get back.
Missed you all ^^ Thanks,
~Morats

HOLIDAY!!
Posted 18 years agoYup, the time has come for me to wish you all a good two weeks 'cos I'm off on holiday to France, or more specifically a beautiful holiday resort found just West of Nice [Southern France]. [You get actually see it really well from Google Earth. Look for Agay and there is a resort nearby called Cap Esterel [I think that's how you spell it] and we're staying there! It's bliss!].
Thanks very much to everyone and, for tomorrow, see you all soon!
[Note, I'll be here today, so I'll be able to talk until then ^^]
Thanks, folks!

Posted 18 years agoMy Summer Thus Far...
Day #1:
Weather = Rain
Mood: Completely and utterly exhaused
Activities: Practise clarinet+guitar for exam on Monday, go to play football at friends, have dinner at said friends, practise instruments some more and not collapse.
Outcome: I was even more exhausted.
Day #2:
Weather = Rain
Mood: Jovial/Happy
Activities: Practise clarinet+guitar extra hard for next day exam, go and buy uniform for school in September, collect fleece from yesterdays visit to friends, go online for a while, read Harry Potter, try to prevent sister from revealing every single little plot detail before I've got there, visit Nanna, NOT COLLAPSE and sleep
Outcome: Not so tired, but still cheerful
Day #3:
Weather = Meh (that's my special way of saying very omninously cloudy)
Mood = Nervous
Activities: Go to guitar exam + clarinet exam, try desperately to ignore fellow guitarist who is eager to sabotage me by trying to tell me the ending for the Harry Potter book, which I in turn tried to prevent by covering my ears, which also meant that I wasn't practising for my exam, Babysit slightly younger brother, calm said brother after he has a major dispute with Realplayer, try to spend a few undisturbed minutes online, only to be repeatedly disturbed by little brother and Realplayer, relax and pick up younger sister from school (she finishes on Friday)
Outcome: I felt oddly unsurprised at the ending to Harry Potter since my fellow guitarist had already basically spoiled the ending for me, I feel slightly tired, slightly annoyed that in five minutes I have to go and get my sister and feeling that desperate loathing of What I've Done (by Linkin Park)...
Whoo! Glad to have got that rant off my chest!!! It's still day #3, in case you couldn't tell, although I'm actually more cheerful than I described. Plus, the guitar exam went great and the clarinet exam OK but I made a bunch of mistakes in one piece and completely failed in my attempt to play F# Minor... ^^ Oh well, thanks for reading! ^^

ARGH! TOTAL MELTDOWN!!
Posted 18 years agoRight, I have to warn you. Total Meltdown!!!!!!!
i) My monitor is dead... So I can't work on any of my writings or other stuff! Wah.
ii) I'm going to have little/no internet access from the end of July right through until mid-August as we're going on holiday!
iii) In History, despite it being our LAST LESSON of the year, our teacher decided it woulds be hilarious to set us another exam to do! URGH! I officially detest History, as of now, and wish that I had instead taken Music.
ARGH! Oh well, happiness all around!

Just 3 and a half days...
Posted 18 years agoI think I can make it. Just 3.5 more days of school left. It's almost over. But not quite! Wish me luck and hope that I survive until Friday [we finish at 2, hence the half day. Afterwards, we're going to play football (soccer), an added bonus]! Whoo! Go 'Summer', if you can call it that, considering that it hasn't actually stopped raining.
