Stuff and shit
Posted 15 years agoWhat's the difference between Michael Jackson and a standard white plastic grocery bag?
One's made of white plastic and a danger to small children, and the other is a shopping bag!
What does Michael Jackson love about twenty eight year-olds?
There's twenty of them!

Some random health facts about salt and water
Posted 15 years ago1) Salt, in large enough quantities, can be toxic to ones body.
2) Water, in large enough quantities, can also be toxic. But only over a long period of time.
3) Taking in too much salt is easily counteracted by drinking water (which is why I'm not concerned about the sodium content of restaurant and fast food). The extra salt will bind to the extra water and work its way out of your system.
4) Water and salt work together in the body to help maintain blood pressure. Too much salt (or not having enough water) increases blood pressure. Not enough salt (or having too much water in the system) reduces it (which is just as dangerous as the opposite happening).
5) Despite how important they are together, you should NEVER drink saltwater. Saltwater can kill your liver even faster than binge-drinking alcohol.
6) Despite today's date, all of these are facts. 100% true.

I hate love
Posted 15 years agoI really do.
For me, "love" has been nothing but a synonym for "heartbreak."
I just don't see the point.
On a side note, this isn't directed at anyone in particular. I've just never had very good experiences with being in love.

RuPaul's Drag Race
Posted 16 years agoIt's kind of like "America's Next Top Model."
...
Except it's drag queens.
ANYWAY, I was watching it earlier. It's some funny shit XP I love watching drama unfold. I revel in other people's anguish, doubly so when they willingly make it available for public viewing. Am I a jackass? Yes. I never claimed to be anything but.
So, anywho, I'm laughing as these drag queens are doing a photo shoot and their wigs keep flying off because of the wind machine (the theme was loosely tied to Gone with the Wind.... VERY loosely). My mom asks me what I'm watching, so I tell her about it and she says to me...
"Why are you watching that? You have some desire to dress in drag? If you were meant to be born a woman, you would have been."
>.> I love my mother, I do... But I REALLY want to bitch-slap some sense into her. A lot, in fact. She's closed-minded. What she thinks is the absolute truth, and anyone who disagrees with her is misinformed or just plain stupid. Luckily for her, she's right most of the time, but she refuses to acknowledge when she's wrong (which, when it comes to affairs psychological, genetic, and just about anything that could be considered "extreme," is most of the time).
Sorry, just felt like ranting a bit.
Thinking on the subject of genetics, there are a lot of traits I possess that I didn't obtain from either of my parents or learn from my environment. I have several quirks, however, that can be attributed to my aunt and uncle whom I was never around long enough during my development to learn from. Curious.

I hate you Steve Jobs
Posted 16 years agoSo, Apple has released its new tablet, the iPad.
Right off the bat... right off the FUCKING BAT, I hate it.
Anywho, as can be expected, only intelligent people seem to realize it's nothing more than a large iPhone... lacking a camera and multi-app support.
But, also as expected, retarded iDrones are flocking to it, saying it's the greatest thing since sex.
How is an iPod better than a Zune? Because you can get Apple-specific things on it? Because you need a large, cumbersome application to put anything on it?
How is a Mac better than a REAL computer? Because hackers don't want to put forth the effort into hacking what is, effectively, nothing but a toy?
And how is the iPad better than any other tablet? Because it was released prematurely, without full functionality? As I recall, people bitched at Sony for doing the EXACT same thing with the PS3.

Sony games on Nintendo systems
Posted 16 years agoI refuse to buy them >.> Every time - EVERY SINGLE TIME - Nintendo takes on a game normally given to Sony developers, it SUCKS.
BALLS.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is a wonderful example of what I'm talking about. The game play was terrible, the card battle system was fucked all to shit, and even after commandeering it, Sony was unable to salvage it because of the original GBA release.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance could not even come close to living up to its spiritual precursor. Too many changes and an uninteresting and detached storyline made this game a fading shadow compared to War of the Lions (or, for the classic gamers among us, simply Final Fantasy Tactics).
Crystal Chronicles... don't even get me started on these games. They're so godawful, they shouldn't even be called "Final Fantasy."
So, this really all comes down to this: I'm not going to buy 358/2 Days (the new KH, for those of you not paying attention). I may rent it to see what it's about, but, based on its predecessors, I'm not expecting much.

Rant ahead >.> Feel free to ignore
Posted 16 years agoSo, apparently, Fatyogi got stuck in Italy and a bunch of people are trying to help him get back.
I say let him find his own way back >.> Maybe I'm just bitter, but it seems to me that the only people who get help aren't the ones who need it most, but the ones who are the most popular.
...
I thought people were done acting like life's a popularity contest after high school, but I was apparently mistaken.
I've seen a few journals where people in need of legitimate help are completely ignored simply because they don't produce any art. This guy... yeah, being stuck in another country constitutes needing some help, but he CAN get back on his own power, without every other jackass posting a journal about how we owe him or he needs donations.
It just makes me mad that people, perfectly mature and reasonable adults, STILL act like this.
As a side note, this doesn't mean I don't want to help him. I'd very much like to, in fact. I'm just infuriated that people act this way.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Posted 16 years agoVoted best of E3 2009.
And by the gods, I can see why XP Vanillaware fails to disappoint with the latest addition to its line of instant classics. Unique game play, visually stunning graphics, and beautifully orchestrated music make it par for the course in this tale set in feudal Japan. You follow the stories of two different characters each seeking out the unfathomable power possessed by the demon blades. Each story holds unique weapons and bosses, and the fun doesn't end at one play through. The stories endings change if certain weapons are equipped when fighting the final bosses.
I highly recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed Vanillaware's previous games, people who enjoy hack-and-slash adventures, and people who just flat out love RPGs.
PS. I'm totally typing this on my Wii XP It's hard work >.>

Ya know...
Posted 16 years agoThis doesn't exactly strike me as the site to display fashionable animals pelts, yet I have (once again) been proven wrong.
I guess I can't get my mind around the idea of wearing another animal's fur or skin, or using it decoratively. I kinda see it in the same light as if we were to skin and wear another person. I mean, I can see wearing leather. We eat cows, so nothing's wasted. But to wear an ocelot's fur, or to hang a wolf pelt on the wall... I can't see why people do it.

Earth Eternal
Posted 16 years agoI'm sure most of you know at least the name of this game by now. For those of you who are unfamiliar, let me simplify this game for you.
It's the furry version of World of Warcraft.
Some updates pertaining to the game:
1) It was originally supposed to be released 2 years ago (in the summer of 07). The game will be released next week in its open beta stage.
2) I was apparently one of the closed beta testers for it (though I received no notification as such). For those of you who may have signed up to be a closed beta tester, but were never contacted, try starting the game up tomorrow. Open beta starts early for any member of closed beta (even those that've never logged on).
You'll more than likely be able to find me there ;P Send me a note if you start playing

Siblings
Posted 16 years agoHow many of you have them?
How many of you have elder siblings?
How many of you have siblings (this seems to hold particularly true to elder siblings) who, during your years of existence together, seem to have gotten it into their heads that you owe them something and they have the right to treat you however they want? That they in some way, shape, or form, effectively own you and have a say in everything you do?
*Raises hand*
