Posted 13 years agoThis journal relates to everyone; although it is primarily about things in The United States of America.
Here is a little history lesson on a few things for clarification on later pieces of the journal itself.
Today (most of) the entire world economy is valued by the US Dollar Bill, and in fact is NOT backed up by any amount of gold in weight. The reason behind this is very simple.
The 2 main exports of the world are Oil and Wheat, after World War II; the price of 20.67 (in gold) was lifted allowing it to float through foreign exchange with no set value in gold however this only lasted one year before fixing again at 35 dollars per ounce of gold. This rate had foreigners drooling, it made foreign money more expensive to carry- after all who wouldn't pass the opportunity to buy gold cheap? Within time the US had dominated the world gold market.
In 1944, 44 allied nations had delegated what is called the Bretton Woods system which basically valued most foreign currency by the US dollar bill which at the time was still backed by gold.
In August of 1971, the redemption for gold and the dollar bill was abolished by the United States and with it, the Bretton Woods Act of 1944, it was replaced with "nothing but the promise of the federal government;" this was also considered the "Nixon Shock." From what I understand it's goal was to combat the 5.something percent inflation rate in 1971.
All that in a nutshell- most money is worthless if the US government collapses.
The story does not end there, this is merely my opinion (nothing more) on how everyone can be happy again.
In December of 2007; the market turned sour o.O but why George W? Why us? Why now as my life is just starting does everything suck?
Let me assplain.
Remember how I mentioned that the US dollar was basically worthless? Well during the mid 2000's, if you remember; everyone owned a house. It was the thing especially in Las Vegas. Own a cookie cutter house. Mid 300,00's! I remember seeing those signs everywhere growing up. I used to live in a nice place. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, big kitchen. Good times.
Well banks qualify home owners based on their credit score. Since everyone who had a good credit score had a good house and a job, the banks lowered the standards for credit approval. Now you have people with lower credit scores, flaky jobs to be homeowners. Again this filled- banks crying over loss of bonuses, loss of interest homeowners would usually pay for these houses. As time grew, more and more people had a house, until almost everyone had a house. A homeless man with no job could be approved for a loan. Well, these "homeowners" could not afford the house and filed for bankruptcy.
The banks suffering larger and larger losses based on fucked up loans caused them to loose money as a corporation. Notice the owners and larger shareholders in these banks are still filthy rich.
Eventually the government had to help the banks in what was refereed as The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which if you remember loaned 700Billion (4rlz BILLION) dollars US financial institutions. This is a loan by the government who's money is backed up only by itself to bail the banks out of financial destruction.
A few insurance companies lost billions, as the banks were insured by them, they ended up having to pay the banks for foreclosure protection or something (really don't know much about that).
Now the world is in debt, and the only reason it affects everyone (not just the US) is because the US has ownership on foreign currency.
How do we get jobs America?
Simple, almost every time a republican gets in office; they promise to cut taxes and do. You might think this is great! Less taxes! However the government needs money to run. The money used to run the government while republicans are in office actually comes from the SSI fund. That's right, the money taken out of every paycheck for YOU retirement is used as a tax replacement.
so number one is:
Study the politicians running.
Read about them, see what kind of tax cuts/employment promises they offer.
Don't vote based on your political party only or if he/she is white or black. Study.
2) Simplify the tax system. Say goodbye to the "Tax Return"
Having extra cash in January is great! But even better are jobs and money in your pocket all the time.
If everyone had an easy 10% or so deducted for taxes, there would be no need for filing, IRS arresting people for punching in the wrong number AND a much richer and prosperous economy.
Remember, if the government had a constant flow of tax income, there would be more room to budget and really even 10% of federal tax is a VERY low amount compared to other countries around the world.
With more US jobs comes more worth in the US dollar, less dollars printed and more value in money around the world.
I don't know about you but I would LOVE more money and more opportunity to succeed.

Posted 13 years agoIt's Christmas eve. I have no idea why; but before; Christmas was full of joy and it was a day I looked forward to spending time with family and friends. Now, I find it "dull of joy" and depressing. Partly due to faith; partly due to life in general. I had a dream about having my own family. For some reason it sounds sweet.

Posted 14 years agoI watched a show today (for free) called Divas at the Imperial Palace. It was pretty fucking cool, especially Madonna. I fucking love Madonna. Anyway, I am feeling like shit due to some kids prank to rip out my speedometer and breaks on my bike... AGAIN I will try and be happy, I'll ignore all the shit that is fucking up in my life AGAIN and try so hard to have a good day...

Posted 14 years agoI am watching Lemonkramer play Uncharted 3. He got it (yet again) sent to him from Nolan North, apparently a friend of his via twitter. This guy never seizes to amaze me.
The game itself is awesome. Everything from visuals to the soundtrack is nothing short of beautiful. The physics on the engine is outstanding and the story line is phenomenal. For once I am jealous of console gaming, and wish this game was available for the PC.

Posted 14 years agoHello everybody, this is Keturah sitting down at work in the break room. The news is on and maybe the news is partly the reason I hate having a TV.
The dullness of aware reporters; not truly understanding the pain of people they broadcast irritates me.
Someone that was a freshman at my High School this year, was stabbed more than 40 times by another student that was in my class.
What can I honestly say about this?
People are evil.
What kind of person honestly thinks it's alright to hurt another? I understand that hate may be given and developed- but how can one be so evil? I know this does not mean shit for me to post this online, however I am in constant pain just doing nothing for myself or others. The world is shit, I want to help- I want to keep others mindful. I am doing nothing. I want more for my life; I want happiness for everyone. If I have to die for it, I might as well...
I love you all and although my actions and behaviors may mark me as an idiot- it's my form of medication from constant depression.

Destruction of the Harmon Tower
Posted 14 years agoNot like it really matters anyway, the Harmon Tower a part of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas is being BLOWED UP because it is structurally unstable and will not withstand an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 or greater on the Richter Earthquake Scale.

Posted 14 years agoHello everybody, I am doing great. Working lots, and although stressful- I take the time to gather as much furry porn as I can through FA. I need a good collection for the end of the world in 2012. The trick is to not get aroused in the save as process. Honestly hate fapping to the same shit I did last commercial break. On a brighter and happier less perverted level. I am going to ban smoking on my forums, underage drinking will not be permitted in the chat room either.
