Thank you all for the watches! I've been received a steady bit of them, and its a little hard to catch up ~

Might be going to FC this Janurary! Not sure how many will see this but.. I thought I'd drop a journal here to see if anyone out there has any available room space for a batty to stay. Anyone have room for me for Thursday night - Sunday night? I fly back home on Monday :)

Went to Anthrocon.. Came home for just a couple of hours to drop things off, get some more clothes and that same evening road trip all the way down south to Florida where I stayed until just three days ago. Made it all just in time for Hurricane Irene, which really didn't do much damage at all where I live-- scattered leaves and twigs.

Thought I'd come home and upload all of the art I picked up from Anthrocon this year, and maybe do some more journal posts. Just thought I'd make myself a little more active here. :3

Normally I don't really go to conventions that much as I used to, but I'll likely latch on to the local groups to keep my social interaction constant. My last convention experience was pretty bad compared to my first ever convention experience. I want constant social contact and partying! :3

[ ] public speaking - I've done a few for schoolwork, but nothing serious. Its scary 'till I get started. Preparation boosts confidence. As for very important business-related things.. No experience.

[x] being a parent - Also known as "END GAME" to us immature men. :3 As of now, I've no interest in having a child. No solid career, no well-paying job? Forget it. Without those, I feel it involves a complete surrender of a life I feel I haven't gotten to live to its fullest.. Almost every parent I've met always has sad stories of how they have to work 18 hours a day, 7 days a week to support their child while living in miserable conditions.

[x] crossing hanging bridges - Very mild fear. As a kid, always had this recurring dream of driving off various bridges, either fantastical or real -- and always ending in dark, deep murky water. Or flying over it all. :3

[x] ghosts - Being a Deist / Agostic, I have a belief of apparitions and the other plane. :> I've "felt" things, both within, and outside my anxiety as if *something* was around me. In rare cases, I've seen very brief figures or funnels of light in a few places in seemingly random moments. I've never really had any experiences that one sees on television programs, like powerful hauntings, stomping boots, objects being moved, etc. My worst experience is approaching an apartment where an anti-social shut-in was found dead for a week. The negative energy was angry and repelling.
[x] poverty - Living in the cesspool area of a city, off the government teat, never to be able to live in a more wealthy apartment or a home in quiet suburbia away from the city.. Certainly so!

[x] trains - Recurring dreams of me being stuck in dark tunnels, then an approaching light and *VERY* loud, deep noise of a steam-engine train and its light bearing down on me! Virtually all of my dreams end with me pressing against the tunnel walls while the machine rumbles past me.

[x] being alone - Being alone for a little while is fine. Prolonged loneliness *destroys* me.
[x] becoming blind - I think virtual blindness is rare. I was born with a nasty case of myopia, so its probably inevitable that at some point, my vision will degrade to make me "legally blind" ..
[x] becoming deaf - Being born deaf is one thing, losing one's hearing after feeling the beauty of music warrants suicide!

I know I'm not around much here, but I thought I'd drop some Steam games I actively play in the hopes of 'networking' out a bit more into the fandom. I haven't truly mingled with furs on an active level and I've been hoping to change that all together. My userinfo has a list of what I'm currently toying with in between schoolwork, and places where I chat a little more actively, if one ever wishes to play / challenge / whatever. :>
