Seen the new GTA 6 trailer?
Posted 4 months agoA thought occoured to me when i saw the trailer.
GTA Vice city took place in 1986, while being released in 2002. that is a 16 year difference.
wouldn't it be a clever callback to that by making gta6 take place 16 years ago instead of the present?
well, that would mean GTA 6 would take place in... 2026 minus 16 is...

So... Someone made unironically a (what i call with hesitation) spiritual sequel to Zelda on CD-I.
with cutscenes that looks like they were animated in MS Paint.

Posted a year agoThe game was fun, engaging, varied and had a smoother learning curve. something the original lacked.
then i "Beat" the fourth boss. notice the quotation marks. if you played the game and got that far, you should know what i mean.
It was a hard boss, killing heirs back to back, and when it pulled off the shit it did, it made me flip two birds and delete the game.
the game was starting to test my patience anyways. especially as prices went up and i could only buy one castle upgrade or armor upgrade per life.
besides, if the game pulled off that trick in the fourth boss... how will the rest of the game be like?

Dumb ideas
Posted 4 years agoin the last couple of months, i have developed a two silly ideas for my cast of characters in the C2HS2-series of comic i've drawn here. i decided to share them here to hear what you think of them, and also to remind you what type of year 2020 was.
the first idea i'm gonna share with you is the awful one: basically, ww3 starts, and my entire cast basically move into a nuclear bunker in Windstill owned and run by the Svenssons. yyyyeah... this idea is seriously awful.
i mean, what? i nuke the entire world of C2HS2 and make them all live in an underground vault? where do i go from here? i still haven't even figured out a single funny comic to make after the somber prologue. this is the type of shit you retcon as "it was all a dream" when you get tired of it!
i think the main reason i grew fond of this idea is because it tackles the idea of repopulating the earth, something we rarely see developed or explored in stories like this.
now that i've said it, this isn't an awful idea. but it's better not done with the excisting C2HS2-cast. the world of C2HS2 is sexy, fun, and wholesome! it's not a nuclear wasteland!
the second idea is more fun. and absurd. but to be fair, 2020 was absurd.
in it, my entire cast, becomes employees of the president of the united states.
the premise is that the mayor of sixypolis (who we've only seen twice in the comic) ran for president, won, and hires the cast of C2HS2 to be in public office.
i actually still kinda like this idea. i guess one way i could make this comic is by making it as untopical as possible. it's not about politics, ideology, partisanship or policies. it's just my characters representing the country.
i think i started to lose interest in this idea when i kinda realised the scenes i made in my head was very similar to "My cartoon president", a show a lot of people have... sour opinions on. also i wondered what would happen if i got sick and tired of the premise and just wanted to make all the characters return to normal.
hey, guess what? this entire journal was a dream! nothing meaningful and important happened in it! but it was at least fun, right?

Posted 5 years agoToday started normal. i woke up, spent some time surfin on the comp, and took my friday morning shower.
I then got a text from microsoft that set me in full panic mode:
There has been suspicious activity on my email account.
Apparently someone or something successfully managed to syncronise to my e-mail-account, causing Microsoft to go ballistic and deactivated the account because of this suspicious login. so after loggin in and changing the password, i learned that this has been going on for... a long time.
i did some investigation and apparently, by using IMAP, people are trying to syncronise accounts with the adresses alone and gain access to the account. while they don't get control of the account so they can hijack it because they dont get the password, they do get access to the account itself, and whatever that is in it. this is apparently common. so common that companies never notifies you whenever there's a failed sync.
at first i thought it was one person using a network trying to reach my account, but naaah, more likely my old email is on a high number of lists and a number of hackers are just trying to see if they can access my email as well as many others with syncronisation alone. just to see the inbox.
Most of the time it wont work. but sometimes it does. i hope no harm was done.
I have activated 2fa on my email, and the password is changed to a stronger one, but let me do a little vent on why it made me decide to write this journal:
This incident reminded me why i don't thrust technology 100%. Most stuff i do online is for fun, but i still take online security a bit seriously.
i rarely click on links, i often type my passwords out of order, and i have adblock more as a security measurents rather than just to make annoying ads gone.
I can only hope that the new steps i have taken will remind them that my email is not theirs:
