General | Posted 3 years agoevery few months a make a journal that's like, 'im going to get back to posting' and then don't but im on new meds and feeling good about it this time
morguebuddy will stay my main account, and will be nsfw but tame, your usual furry nsfw, dead dove content will continue to go to the dead dove account linked in the bio, and i'll also be using my nsfw twitter providing i can log in. i'll be rebranding the name of both of those when i come up with something. i'm also planning on making a fully sfw twitter at some point
my fiance will also help in running this account and the twitter if it gets made
and lastly continuing to try and make my commission info more accessible
reminder commissions right now are open as i'm trying to make back some money

General | Posted 4 years agoi know i said i was going to get back into commissions but That didn’t happen, however im goong to try hard and open a new nsfw dead dove account, so i can open sketch commissions there any anyone who doesn't want to see that kind of content can still follow here and see the stunning lack of posts

General | Posted 5 years agoI was tryna shove everything into like a clickable form type of thing cuz i felt like asking for a quote was kind of intimidating for people?
But i also feel really weird putting like “ +10 for shitty reference” and then people are still doing mathematics, and its the psychological 4.99 vs 5 dollar psychology thing i think? Adding things up urself feels more expensive then being quoted
I also saw people doing time slot commissions which i HATE, like, unless the artist can guarantee a deadline to finish up for ur budget cuz how can u really guaretee its gonna take them an hour to draw ur oc
So im thinking of re working my prices again cuz i keep letting myself lose out on so much time and effort cuz i dont factor bad replies and reference into the cost
And i know its pretty common to charge for big wings n shit but idk if its my autism or what but doin’ anything over basic patterns is soooo hard so i wanna factor that in
Like i feel at the end of the im putting so much of myself for my client and forget theyre coming to Me for work, like im not obligated to thow myself under a bus for them, especially if.i have to fight to get information the whole way
This is kind of rambling...
But uh tldr: i mght just give example prices on finished pieces, give my info for possible extra fees, and then just give basis by basis quotes

General | Posted 5 years agoKind of, the physiotherapist says im good to draw for up to 2 hours a day, but i probably wont be able to do that for another week until i do some strength straining. But i’ll try to work on commissions within my limit for now ^_^
