Recent silence and upcoming Cons!
General | Posted 10 years agoWoof!
So, recently my FA page has been pretty dead. And those who know me a bit more personally know that I have also been a bit silent on other communications services, such as telegram and whatnot. This is because recently I made a move to a new living location :3 I have moved in with my boyfriend to a place, and thats what has been taking my time and energy for the last few weeks. I only just now got all my computer stuff and internet setup to where I can sit down and work again, so I am hoping to return to regular internet activity and drawing soon!
For the futures I thought I would also use this journal to mention what conventions I am planing to attend this year :3
I am definitely confirmed for Nordic Fuzzcon, and will be attending.
I have my ticket paid for Confuzzled as well, so there is a high chance I will be going :3.
I am absolutely going to Eurofurence this year.
And thats about it! Now to making more drawings and fursuits!
15E Sketchcoms, holiday edition
General | Posted 10 years agoWoof!
So time again for a round of quick sketchcommissions, this time holiday edition :3 because I feel like drawing some of that.
So the way this works is similiar to before. You call out that you want a slot, and you probably get it, for a 15 euro sketchcommission with simple colors and shading if time allows. But this time I would prefere ideas that were someday holiday oriented (or decorated, if naughty :3).
And I would also like to give priority this time to people who have not gotten one of these sketches before, to give a chance to people who haven't.

1. Dark-wolf91

General | Posted 10 years agoWoof! Another year gone past :3 I'll be one of the first to congratulate myself to a Happy Birthday! (A couple of you people already did, thank you :3) .
This last year has been a fantastic one. I have got to do many of the things i've wanted to do in life, I've grown more as a person, I've learned new skills and had new experiences and all sorts of other incredible things!
Here is to hoping that the next year will be as amazing :3

Eurofurence 21!
General | Posted 10 years agoWoof.
So, I managed to survive Eurofurence 21! I got back home on Monday, and damn was I exhausted XD I slept 16 hours the first day, and my feet are still hurting to day. And I think I stretched some muscles in my back too. But it was sure worth it :3
My absence online has been because of the convention ,and I realised a bit too late that I did not make a journal or anything to notify people that I was going, like I usually do. So, sorry bout that ^^
I hope to get back on track on the arts and the drawings shortly ,now that I am settled back home :3
As for the convention itself it was great this year, for a number of reasons. Ill just make a list of highlights to keep this from being an essay :3
Fuzzy's 80's Dance
I love the dances at cons, even if I am only comfortable dancing at them while I am in fursuit. And the 80s themed dance this year was my favourite. Not to say that the other ones weren't good, but this one was probably the one I enjoyed myself the most at. I am not a professional dancer or anything, so I like silly catchy things where I can make up moves to fit the track playing XD The crowd was a real good one too, energetic and into it. The tracklist was beyond cheesy and I am fairly certain that I can blame my favourite DJ Fuzzy for that. Thanks :3
Altough at the end of all the dancing my feet were near blistering, but I felt it was worth it. One of the drawbacks of dancing only in fursuit is that it wears you out real quick.
Rhubarb and Cosmik:
I admit I had not heard of these two, the Guests of Honor this year, before but I was pleasantly suprised by just how entertaining their musical performances were.
Bandthro:
The concert arranged by Fox Amoore featuring himself and other artists, including the GoH, was possibly the best rock concert I have seen in a very long while. The short length of it helped, as it allowed them to keep the show neat and focused, delivering nothing but their best performances from begining to end. I was very happy that I did not miss this event :3
It also featured the most insane drummer ever, I don't think I've ever been more impressed by a drum solo in my life.
Enter the Arena:
I love fursuits dancing. I love dancing in them, even if not very well, and I love seeing fursuits move around, so this event was a given. The dance styles included some real suprises this year, like sexy bellydancing :o And all in all, a very pleasant one. I think the fact that the show was runing a little late (big suprise) made it more enjoyable, as it forced the competition to keep a rapid tempo XD There was no time to get bored or anxious waiting for the next performance.
Time:
Somehow this con ran very close to on-time. Hardly any event was delayed more than 40 minutes.
Hotel:
The hotel itself was much better prepared this year compared to last time. The staff was more knowledgeable and ready to go that extra mile to help out us furries. I think they also realised after last year that we were completely harmless, and quite responsible, and so allowed us certain benefits we did not have last year, such as the ability to consume our own alcohol outside at the bonfire area :3
The hotel itself is clean and professional as always and the convention this year featured the best fursuit lounge I have been in, with the only drawback being that it was literally situated as far from the hotel rooms as you could possible get it.
Food:
This year I found my favourite place to eat. After surviving on McDonalds a few days, because it was right there and close and cheap x.x, me and Amri found the Asian fast food place near the trainstation. New favourite :3
Also, kudos to the kebabplace owner who was open untill 4AM and let us in for a bite in the middle of the night on sunday when we were hungry and needed sustenance. Really friendly guy :3 Turns out that to find the good food places you just need to walk a bit.
Personal thanks:
Really, I am not gonna fill out this section :3 There were too many wonderful people I got to meet up , hang out with, and other stuff, and it would feel weird just singling out some of them, and exhausting to list all XD So, thanks all of you guys for making it a better convention.

15E Sketch commissions, round 2!
General | Posted 10 years agoWoof!
So, the first round of sketch commissions turned to be quite successful, a bit more than I expected even :o
So I will be opening up some slots for them this week as well. The idea is to have slots open every day but that just is not always possible due to RL and such, but if you do get into a slot you should get the picture drawn within a day, altough even that got stretched to a day and a half in some of the previous cases :3 Im working on improving that speed.
So, yes, the same deal applies as last time. 15Eur for a speedy sketch commission with flat colors added to it. Topics can range from sfw to nsfw and as creative or uncreative as you like :3
Tuesday/Wednesday slots:
1. Kelthis
2. Dark-wolf91

15Eur Sketch commissions
General | Posted 10 years agoRawr!
Hello there fuzzies. I have decided to intensify my drawing routine a bit by opening up for quick sketch commissions in addition to the regular commission que :3.
So from now I'll be opening 2 slotsa day every other or couple days for sketch commissions, at a price of 15 Eur each :3
I expect these to be done in about a day, if not the same day that I take them, resulting in a flat-color sketch. There wont be pre-approval alternatives for the sketches, like I do for other commissions, and no backgrounds (altough props might be fine).
NSFW ideas are of course very welcome :3 Edit: And if you have suggestions for poses and such, those are of course taken into consideration!
So, lets see if this leads to something interesting.
Slots for this week: None, because of furmeet.

Off to Confuzzled

And so I am off to confuzzled =3 Well, I will be arriving at the hotel on friday morning/noon. If anyone is around, feel free to say hi. I'll probably be sporadically contactable through most IM and online services I usually use.

I'm not dead
General | Posted 11 years agoNot yet, anyway!
I notice that I have been more or less completely absent from activity on FA for the last couple of month, but that certainly hasn't been by choice x.x
The last couple of months have been unexpectedly busy for me with projects and tasks that have been taking my time, almost burning me out on some things that I usually enjoy. For better or worse the up and coming Nordic Fuzzcon will be the cutoff point and deadline for a lot of things I got going on, and I am looking forward to it as it means I will be able to breathe and resume my normal online presence after the end of this month!
Thank you to all the new watchers I have somehow aquired during this unwilling hiatus, and to all my friends who have had patience :3. See you at the start of february!
Edit: Months are so confusing when you got stuff to do all the time! See you in march XD

So I am very much looking forward to the next Confuzzled already, definitely trying to get myself there if I can. Altough it is a bit of a long way ahead, and good that since it means I dont need to be quite so hard on the ball to get my registration done, I was wondering who else that I know was planing on going?
Birthday!
General | Posted 11 years agoAgh XD Another birthday!
Happy one to me I hope. Every new year has been better and more interesting than the last! I hope it keeps up for this one!
Add: Oh man, that was a lot of responses XD Normally I would thank each and every one of you personally but this time Ill experiment with just doing it in one big bulk here. Thanks a lot you guys!

Back from EF20!
General | Posted 11 years agoWoof / Rawr!
I have successfully returned from germany, having attended Eurofurence 20 in Berlin! In short I think the con was a great success, particularily for its size, the new venue and so much of the management being remodeled.
Travel!
Getting to EF was a bit of a hassle to figure out XD After exploring flight and other options I ended up scoring a ride in
Wolfer s car down to germany, along with
Wuffen and
Santafox. I think we ended up heading off around 2am in the morning and drove all night from Sweden to Denmark and then to Germany, with Wolfer and Wuffen taking turns behind the wheel. I must have ended up sleeping away about half of the trip. We arrived at the convention the following morning, a bit after check-in and registration started for the first day of the convention. The Hotel!
First of all, jeez was this place big! The size of the hotel was able to very comfortably house the some two thousand people who shoved up, but the size might have been a bit to the cons detriment. Because the size was so vast and people have a habbit to still flock to certain areas where everyone is hanging out it kinda felt enormous, full, and empty at the same time, haha. But the place was great. The rooms were spacious and acomodating, and the whole hotel was clean and well organised. The staff was very friendly too, and while at Nordic Fuzzcons previous location the staff donned cat and bunny ears for the event I heard rumours of eurofurence waiter walking about inside fursuits! I Don't know if that was the case, but I did see some animal ears there too!
The biggest complaint would be the elevators XD Not only did it feel like every last one of them broke at least once during the convention, but they were hideously slow and unable to handle the ammount of furs who needed to get places. The hotel also did not have stairs to get to the different floors, so on the extreme end people sometimes had to wait half an hour to get to their room.
The restaurants was interesting, there was like... five or more inside of the hotel itself. Food was overpriced, as expected, but actually really good. The ones I tried anyway.
The con!
Eurofurence was a bit strange to me. It managed to feel way larger than Confuzzled, the other larger con i've gone to, but somehow not quite as grand. Much more of one long continuous party interspaced with some great furry events!
All the events that I was able to attend were quite wonderfull. I managed to see the eurofurence Pawpet show and it was indeed far more dramatic than the brittish one! Very beautifull as well. Despite the length of it, I was glad I saw it. Not to mention the length of the queuing. Some people were seriously in line for three and a half hours to see the show XD But this was because it got delayed enormously. I really don't know what happened there but me and my friends just ended up ditching the line, going to eat dinner, having a drink, and then returning hours later to find the people we left in line in the same place. Glad for that sponsor badge in moments like that, still got a good seat when it did start.
The concert by Fox Amore was very good, and I grew a lot more interest in the guy after seeing him live. And all the creds to his accompanying guests, in particular the madman on the fiddle who managed to completely shred his bow during a solo while not missing any notes.
Also saw Sardyuon live, which was just as good as I hoped it would be. Loved it!
One of the strangest things was the seeming lack of a Closing ceremony. At least me and the people I know weren't able to detect such a thing taking place, and that just gave the con a strange sense of nonclosure. There was also some event where Pinky went on stage and mentioned the preliminary results of the charity, which again just seems strange that there wasnt a closing ceremony where the real sum would be announced. Throughout the con there was also a murder-investigation puzzle happening but I did not figure out how it was ment to be played or who was eligeble. There was a similiar theme at least Nordic Fuzzcon, but there the result of the mystery was announced at the closing ceremony and the winner.
The dances were a bit hit or miss. I LOVED the idea of the 80s dance but the execution just felt a bit wrong, like none of the mixes quite worked for me. The Big Dance at the end was the one I ended up spending most time at, several consecutive hours in a fursuit dancing <3 That was a great time, and I ended up staying at it untill 5am when it finally closed. I ended up missing the dead dog party dance, and most of the dead dog party, because I got a sweeter offer of what to do that night <3.
The guests of honor were very impressive, and I sure hope to find the pictures I got taken with ursula online sometime XD I got punched in the nose for it afterall. (Theres a bit of a story behind that)
The furs!
So many of them! So many nice people I was able to meet for the first time, and some I knew from online and hadn't met before. Because I cant just make one long journal listing every single fur I met (or can I?) I'll just make a special mentions thing!
Wuffen was nice as a roomate, not much incidents there XD Thanks to
Rayth,
oosarovakoo and
Modifiedlast, really had a great time hanging out with you guys throughout the con.
mysticalsynergy, you are awesome on so many levels, probably one of the best dudes at the con! Big thanks to
Happy-the-husky for helping set up a room at the hotel! Home
The trip home wasn't that bad. I didn't get struck by any PCD, but I kept feeling sorry for the furs who did! But everyone appeared to be happy and smiling as they left the hotel ,having had a good experience.
Rode back to gothenburg from berlin with the same car-group of furs as I arrived with, and ended up staying a night at Wuffens place with snoring furs XD And back home in Stockholm again after three hour train ride. I am already planing next years EF!
Random aftermaths
I was talked into getting Twitter and whatsapp while at the convention XD so I guess I have those now.
So back at home now, doing the stuff I do!
Mm, Birthday next week, wish me a good one!
Eurofurence!
General | Posted 11 years agoRawr!
And so I am off to EF. Hope to see you people there ^^.
I will be staying at the hotel, and probably fursuiting half the time XD.
Will be gone untill the begining of next week, and probably out of contact on all mediums.
Have a good week folks.
Bwuh, sickness?
General | Posted 11 years agoAhr.
A few days ago started getting weird sickness symptoms, most likely a common cold or something. But it has put me out of action it feels like. I can concentrate on things just fine but it feels like the creative part of my brain has just been shut off XD I didn't know that was a possible effect.
Confuzzled 2014
General | Posted 11 years agoI have returned from England and Confuzzled!
To begin with I will say that I had an amazing time at Confuzzled, in many ways it was like all the best
parts of Nordic Fuzzcon but twice as large in every way. There was more people, the hotel was larger, the
events were more epic, and it even felt like it lasted twice as long (But that may have been due to me
loosing half of last NFC in my room sewing).
From what I understood CFz was in a new hotel this year. The hotel seemed like a great venue for the
convention, it was spacious with an interesting layout and sizeable areas for rooms and events. The only
problem I myself ran into (and from what I heard some other folks as well) was that the hotel staff seemed
completely taken by suprise as to the ammount of people who would show up, and just how intensively they
would have to work during the convention. The worst example was the bar and food staff who did not seem to
have any system in place for taking more than one order at a time, during the most extreme cases leading to
waiting times of closer to an hour untill you could even order food o.o But most of the staff I talked to
was very friendly and curteous, like the friendly indian dude who was manning the bar at 6am in the morning
and got my order for a hamburger.
The furry convention itself was a whole lot of new stuff for me. I tried to attend every event that I
thought was interesting, but there ended up being a lot of overlap of things I wanted to do, and sometimes I
just missed an event that was starting without me remembering XD. I saw my first Pawpets show and was blown
away by how much effort and attention they put into it, and it was hilariously enjoyable. My hosts in london
tried to introduce me a bit to what the show was about by showing me recordings of previous years, but those
really do not compare to seeing it in person.
I was able to attend most of the main-stage events, and they were all things that I am happy I attended. The
most unexpected pleasure was probably the gameshow-parody "Furry furtunes" (alternate spellings at different
sources XD) which was hilarious.
Convention time I ended up spending in part lounging with people I knew, and then a lot of people I didn't!
I was very happy to meet a bunch of new furs, and hopefully got a couple of new friends from that.
I also got to fursuit a lot more than at the previous cons I had been at, and this time broke my record of
consecutive fursuiting by going ten hours in a row during the last day (Which I count as the day of the
closing ceremony). The ammount of fursuits was way larger than at NFC, every day at the con I kept getting
suprised by new fursuits that I had not yet seen before and towards the end I felt like I couldn't leave my
camera for even a minute except when I was suiting myself XD Particular squee moment was also when I
unexpectedly came across a girl cosplaying as a non-furry character, Rabbit from Steam Powered Giraffe.
I did attend a room party. I had a great time. That is all.
I also took the opportunity to visit London for a week in addition to the convention time while I was in
England. I went sightseeing in the city, saw some of the landmarks I could think of, went to the Tower,
Bridge, Dungeon, Eye, Tussauds, and other misc stuff in town.
A great big thanks to my hosts in england, the bunch
Leonerd,
Delph_bunny, ferret, nall, who housed me for part of my trip, and Roy who kept me for the rest. For the convention itself I can't narrow down the bunch of furs I had fun hanging out with to a manageable
list, so I'll just say a general thanks to you all XD I know, boring right?
Great con, hope to attend the next Confuzzled.
Eurofurence next!
In England!
General | Posted 11 years agoRahr! So I have made it successfully into England and got myself settled in London pre-con, and will stick around for a few days after the con as well.
Any ideas on what to do here? o.o

General | Posted 11 years agoHoly hecks o.o That has been a long time without any activity here.
No new artworks, not even much in the way of sketches or anything.
Of course there has been a few things that have been swallowing up my time and energy. A while after the very pleasant furcon here I was very spent on anything creative, after the consecutive marathon sessions on my fursuit. And after that I got a new job (yay!) and that has been an interesting change in rythm and pace. And my free time has been spent on so many more things than they were just a year a go, suddenly my circle of friends has either gotten larger or gotten more active, half the days of the week I am pretty much booked from morning to night, haha.
But also I didnt feel like drawing much for a while because I hadn't been drawing X.x its a little annoying but ive noticed that I need to actually keep up drawing to be motivated to draw.
Heres to hoping that I can get back into the groove of things again ^^

Fursuit and Nordic Fuzzcon 2014
General | Posted 12 years agoAhr, returned home from this years Nordic Fuzzcon just yesterday.
It is a little difficult choosing just where to start talking about it. For some major reasons it was really a milestone for me, and a con I'll never forget. While the first NFC was the very first furry convention I had ever gone to NFC 2014 was the very first convention, or any location at all, that I fursuited in!
After last NFC I had this plan of making my own fursuit and working on it for the better part of the entire year I was able to finish it just in time for the convention. In fact due to what in hindsight was a bit of poor planing (Oh its only mars, I have soooo much time to work on my suit) I was only able to finish my suit literally at the convention itself, stitching and gluing like a madman well into the morning of the first night in my room. But I am overjoyed that I was able to finish the suit and then wear it!
I am unbelievably grateful for all the people who helped me with creating the suit,
mickel,
darkwolf94,
kitsunexzeria,
oddity, and some of my non-fur friends and even family members who helped to sew and ducttape to get it done in time. And more than anything
vappu for helping me with the head and Pao for her amazing sewing abilities and knife-work. I am real happy with how it turned out.
As for the con itself, yeah, haha. The first day I arrived a little late, precisely in time to sneak into the opening ceremony as it was getting started, and right from the begining I ended up spending way more time than I would have liked up in my room working on my suit, trying to make last moment fixes to it. I suprised myself in that I did not give up and just go enjoy the con, my suit not having a tail and the bodysuit in essentially four separate pieces, paws unfinished, and all sorts of stuff. But I did take breaks to go down to the con now and then and visit some panels. But the first day was more or less spent entirely in my room, altough in the company of some great people who came by to help me. I think we ended up making an entire tail from scratch in one night at my room.
On the second day it was something of a repeat of the first one, while I went to some more panels and met some more great furfriends I did end up in my room a lot. Towards the evening when the parties were starting up I had pretty much decided to just leave the suit unfinished and do it the next morning, fix it then. People were starting to drink a bit and have fun but fortunately a mr chamafox convinced me that I should go back and finish it, since it was so close to being done. Altough when I got there I found that there were more stitches that had not been finished than I thought, and the entire thing took longer than expected, into some midnight before I was done. But a friendly lion leo hopped by to visit me in my room which I Thought was incredibly sweet of him, and he kept me some company while I finished up the back of the suit. Altough to horror I found that something had gone wrong in the sewing and there was a huge hole in my neck/throat, but by chance a Darkey came by at that time too and borrowed me his scarf which I could tie around my neck. At first it was just a quick patch solution but after seeing how it looked on me I really grew quite attached to it and made it part of the suit. Two friends apparently bought it for me from darky later which was very sweet of them.
And then I finally got to suit, right around midnight. The response was wonderful, I really am not used to that much positive attention. I guess if you've suited you already know what its like, and it was very fun to share. Over the following days I got more and more accustomed to the suit. After participating in the fursuit games at the con I felt like climbing out of it. The games I failed at prety spectacularily XD Not only was I unaccustomed to moving in the suit, but also in figuring out how to get my vision working in it. But it was fun.
But by the last day I had bonded with it and proceeded to suit for a good nine hours in a row, the dead dog party being one of the most fun I have ever been to (and in my oppinion the best party of the con, but I am heavily biased in that I did not attend the other ones much XD). By then people were helping me to drinks and the live dj was doing a great job, people were dancing along to the music in the common room, and I managed a whole lot more dancing in my suit than I could have imagined on the first days. After a while it really just feels like a second much warmer skin.
And the conga-line was hilarious XD
I also got to hang out and chat with some of the other suiters, both ones I hadn't seen before and ones i've admired for a good long while.
Aah, but there were so many people that I met this time, and sorry if I couldn't spend time with the ones I wanted to spend more time with, the con ended up so busy every single moment for me. And sorry if I couldn't/cant quite remember you yet if we met, my vision in the suit is not aided by not being able to wear my glasses and maybe not even getting a really good view of everyone XD
I also would have liked to attend some of the room parties, but when they were going on I was probably either sewing or hanging out with someone in more private somewhere, heh. Maybe next year. But at least the last night had a similiar atmosphere to how those room parties get when they are good, as the crowd of people left at the con got smaller and more intimate.
And a big thanks to Xzeria who stayed by my side much of the con and helped me out a ton in getting used to my suit and helping me out with all those little things like water and making sure it was sitting correct, and helping me get to places as well as finishing the suit. You are a great friend.
Was the convention as good as the first one? Yes, it was probably better. A lot of little things was learned from the past and things went smoothly and nice. And the staff at the hotel was incredible as ever, even moved to tears at the closing ceremonies. I am really sad to hear that the next years convention will not be held in the same location.
Did I enjoy it was much as the first one? No. But it is only by the smallest of margins, because of missing out on a bunch of it for my suit. But it was made up for it by getting my suit up, and I really enjoyed my time.
So many more little things that happened and come to mind but I think Ill end this rambling here, haha. See you all at NFC 2015.
Oh and the guest of honor was a Bryan Talbot. After being at his panels and speaking to him a little I have such greater respect for the man. Really a masterful comicbook artist.
