just wanted to say hi here, and let everyone know that things are fine, everything is okay, and sorry I haven't been posting that much recently, I haven't really been wanting to share much recently.

I'll likely get around to sharing the shenanigans that I've been getting up to at some point sometime, but for now, I do hope you enjoy the gallery as it is for the most part.

Soooo I got a new position at work, that eats up most of my time, at least Monday to Thursday. Four tens, wheee!!!

I get weekends to plan new photoshoots, and maybe I'll get around to beginning an art dump of some kind (if I can remember what art I have posted and haven't yet, and from what artist. Aaagh, I am soooo disprganized)

Hey everyone, I wish I was writing on better terms.

I'm going to be transparent with you all, I have to hold off on the rest of the image uploads to my gallery for the time being.

I have had some mitigating circumstances in Real Life that are going to take precedence over posting pictures and sharing art/comms that I have gotten.

If I seem pretty silent on here, that's why, I can divulge information to those that really want to hear, but I wanted to update everyone who watches and reads these with what's going on with my end.

Holy moley, looks like i missed that milestone, i'm over 500 watchers! I want to thank each ane every one of you that read this now for watching me, since i didn't really have the chance to do so, and i do not often write here.

Now that i got that out of the way, i have a serious backlog of commissions that i have accrued recently, as well as other suit pictures that i am going to be releasing for you all to see within the next few days, i will likely be uploading one to two pictures a day, in hopefully chronological order as i got them.

Good day everyone, I hope everything is going well for all of those who read this~!!!

I have a couple announcements today~!

The first is this. I'm going to get the bad news out of the way first, so we can move on to greater things! My Ashkore suit, the one that has been featured in many photos and shenanigans on this page is now in pieces, and will not be returning to the limelight. This head and suit is now officially retired.

That being said, There is a dim light in the ashes that once was the Ashkore suit! my mate and I are now in the process of making something new and exiting for this year, a brand new Ashkore suit, featuring everything that I wanted in the first two iterations of the suit! Be on the lookout in the next two-three months for new pictures, progress photos, and finished products (should I decide to post them). Any and all support as the new and tasty is being worked on is greatly appreciated, and patience is going to be an enormous virtue in this endeavour~!!!

As of now, there will be no suit picture requests, and any new suit photo that is posted is of the old Ashkore suit, that is no longer around. ((no notes on pose requests until further notice!))

Hey everyone!

So with the new year upon us, I have a few updates for you all!

I'm going to be working on a brand new suit head of ashkore, with the help of my partner and mate,  venblackfurr.

This being said, I'm not saying when or where it will be debuted, but y'all will know when! Now that I have that out of the way, I do have a few announcements.

I do have a few new pieces of art that I will be uploading in time, when I can get around to actually doing it. I am no longer working overnight shifts (yay!) so I should have more time to engage in suit shenanigans and taking photos for everyone to enjoy!

I never thought i'd say this, but i had a few photoshoots planned that i was going to do, but as many of my friends know, my mate  venblackfurr moved in with me a couple months ago. As such, i spend more time with him, and with me working full time night shift, i just don't have the capability to do any photoshoots. Soo for the time being, i will not be releasing any new mama ashkore suit photos.. buuut, i will be releasing art of ashi whenever available.

i may be swayed to a ko.fi or something, if people do want to help support the cause, i do need some photo equipment upgrades for better shooting, programs, better "rigs" for the suit, etc.

Hey everyone!

having taken a look at my gallery, I noticed that it was innundated with some older pieces that have not aged all that well. As such, I have migrated them to my scraps folder.

I do hope to continue with getting pictures out sometime in the near future, however it is update time for you all.
I work the overnight shifts now, so all of my activity has been Nocturnal. With my partner,  venblackfurr moving in, we have not had time to do anything with me in suit.
We have been looking for a house, but thats been rather slow, between that and job hunting, things are slow, so if anyone made a reccomendation and sent ideas over, it could take some time for suit pics to show up again!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I missed a few days with the picture uploadings, I recently came into some sick days, and tuesday I ended up going to somewhere that I absolutely hate going.

Those who are squeemish, skip to the break.

---Story begins here--

So I was at work on tuesday, and being a landscaper and horticuluturist for a theme park, we need to keep our various sharp objects sharp on equipment maintenance day. Well luck would have it that the boss nicked one of our loping shears, and I offered to file the nick out and sharpen it. As I was putting the finishing touches on the blade, the file slipped and tender flesh met very sharp shear blade. Took myself to first aid, then they sent me to the hospital, where they steri-taped and wrapped the thumb.

---BREAK--

So after that hospital visit, I am now stuck with one wrapped thumb, and instructions to keep it clean and change the wrapping every day. So for the next few weeks there will be no new pictures involving green scale Ashkore until I am clear and this thumb is fully healed. Other than that, I am doing juuust fine~!

Hey everyone.

The last piece of the costume that I was going to get a photoshoot of Ash in arrived this morning, but I seem to have contracted a cold or sinus infection or something of the like.. so I'm not going to be taking that photoshoot today, unless I start feeling better later on in the afternoon. I will, however, share a couple pics I took with my phone, should anyone be interested..

Wow.. 27 years, gone by in a flash.

So today, hatchday. Yay! Aaand to answer the big question(s) of how i feel and what am i doing? First i am working, then probably staying in, and how t feels? Just like any other day.

Work continues on pieces and those who i have said i would do work for? Have not fotgotten and will get to them when i can, this work thing js takin a lot of my time ;p

So a little updates again!!

The shoulder mentioned in the previous joirnal is getting better, pain is gone. Regularly scheduled scratching of pencils on paper will resume!!!

In other news... The mountain dragon will be getting older on the 25th!! Next friday~

okay so!!!

last weekend at work I sustained a repeated stress injury to my left shoulder, pulled muscle/rotator cuff injury. The week went by and it healed, or so I thought. Saturday I reagitated it again at work.. so I haven't really been able to draw or do much with that arm (since it's my drawing arm)

hopefully soon I'll get back into the groove and work on some more pictures!!

So! I have a few convention appearances lined up, aaaand they are as follows:

* April 1-3: Zenkaikon: Lancaster, PA
* May 13-16: Steampunk World's Fair, Piscataway, NJ
* October 14-16: Steampunk Unlimited, Strasberg, PA

The latter two I may be apparing in suit, with World's Fair a definite. I am undecided on Zenkaikon, though I will be making an appearance, so for those who are going to appear at any of these three cons... hit me up and we'll chatter!

Hey everyone, got a few updates here to go over~

First and foremost if you all have seen, I updated my suit, going with my original design of ash before coming here to FA, more pictures to come in the future, especially now... once I find my old /get a new better camera. Many antics to come~!

Second: I finally rebuilt my computer, so step one done. Step next is to, over time, upgrade the system to where I want it to be.

welp~ that's it for now, I know I'm a dragon of few words, but... I get across what I need to in short lines. (*snigger*)

So.. the old compy... named minion 1.5 years ago, is on its last leg of its operational life... postings of new pics will probably be coming to an end, as the mobile upload system turns all my images sideways...when the system does go down, it'll probably be some time until I get back on, seeing that my income is going other places (bills and feeding me)

anyways, I just figgured I'd give you all an update on the state of this drake and its minion 1.5.. and I will try to keep y'all posted on the state of repair of minion 1.5... hopefully Minion 2.0 will rise from the ashes soon.
