Just a heads up that I will be removing some art from gallery, mainly the NSFW artwork. I don't feel comfortable doing it anymore (have had over stepped boundaries too often). I will be removing them sometime next week.
I apologise for this, but I am just not comfortable with this any longer.

General Update
Posted a year agoI know I don't type journals much anymore. I just want to say that I am still alive. Things have been good, but things have also been not good. Health wise, I am not okay. The doctors aren't sure whats wrong with me yet. I have an appointment due in a few days. I'm nervous about that, I want to know what's wrong, but at the same time I am scared.
I haven't put details about what is going wrong with me publicly yet, and I am still not comfortable with sharing it. All in due time.
I will be doing a gallery clean up soon, I want to remove some of my older art etc. I just want my gallery to be nicer than it is. I'm also uploading here more frequently. I will also be streamlining my terms and conditions a bit more soon. For now I am only taking headshot commissions and 3 expression page commissions through PayPal. I may open for different types of commissions in the future, I normally announce these on Twitter.

Updating my Terms of Service!
Firstly the biggest change is that I no longer offer NSFW commissions. I understand that this may upset a few people, but it seriously messed with my mental health after a while, and I couldn't deal with boundaries being overstepped far too often.
I have more fun drawing stuff that generally is able to bring joy to people of all ages.

Please be aware that outside of doing art for my clients I have a private life that includes chores as well as leisure time, just like most people I do have family that I want to spend time with.

I do suffer from migraines which I get fairly frequently which does impact my workflow. If I get a migraine while working on your commission, I will let you know as soon as I can and I will keep in touch and will start working again once the light sensitivity phase has passed.
COMMISSIONS:
When you reach out to me for a commission - please be very clear on what you want me to draw and provide up to date reference sheets of the characters you want drawn.
If I accept a commission, I prefer to do the sketch before I receive payment. Please note that full re-draws could result in an additional fee.
I can take anywhere from a week to a month or so to complete a commission. I will provide WIPs when I have something new to share. I don't have a set schedule at the moment.
And please, when I provide you with your sketch - please look it over and let me know what I need to fix! I will do corrections on a sketch up to 3 times, more times will cost extra! Please don't wait for me to colour it and then ask for changes to the drawing. All changes requested AFTER the sketch phase will be charged extra!
Reference sheet commissions take me a while to do.
Payment is PayPal.
All commissions that I do, I have the right to show them in my portfolio. (Unless you don't want me too, please tell me)

Help Needed!

earlier this week I had to reach out and ask for help on Twitter about one of our cats (Nicky) that became suddenly very ill.
Nicky became very lethargic at the beginning of this week and wasn't acting herself, we struggled to get a vet appointment on Wednesday but eventually we got one. After her examination it was found that she urgently needs to be spayed, she is apparently in discomfort, crampy and miserable. She got an injection so we could bring her home and then rested and looked way more comfortable. She ate a few treats we gave her and we relaxed a little.
We adopted Nicky and her sister Lucy as kittens in October 2021. The plan was to have them spayed in April/May 2022 (June at the latest), but thanks to the current economical situation our rent has gone up, power and gas prices exploded, the cost of food has increased and the integration course that I have to attend is making a huge hole into our finances too, since we have to pay for it by ourselves. Nonetheless that most months we end up in the minus, we have been trying to save up on the side to have both cats spayed ASAP although we sometimes barely get over the month, none of us smokes, we do not have a car and walk a lot and we never were into partying, still there is not much left for big expenses.
When it rains, it all pours down at once though. I will be doing my German language exam on the 14th of January and I need to cram for my exam. On the 10th of February I have to do a political exam and later in February I have to go to the Ausländerbehörde and renew my permit which again costs about 100€.
Since Nickys diagnosis we found that we have to prioritise saving up and get the cats spayed. Each cat will cost 160€ to be spayed (320€ together). In USD, my goal is: $340. Of course it can be a bigger bill should complications arise, but we hope for the best.

It has come to my attention, that even though I have been polite and clear, some people are not respecting the fact that I can't work on anything!
Constantly spamming me on Telegram will NOT make commission slots magically open for you. If I haven't responded to your Telegram message - then I simply have not gotten to it! I don't open Telegram everyday anymore! If you follow me on Twitter - spamming my DMs there is NOT the best way to get my attention either. I currently have a clear queue, I am owning nothing so that does not give you the right to constantly spam me. And a lot of this is happening on Sundays too, which I have stated below that Saturday AND Sunday are my day off.

Life Update

I took an unintentional hiatus from here, but I was actively doing art and commissions in other places, mainly on Twitter, which is here https://twitter.com/KelFoxie
I have been updating my commission info, and I will be adding new examples soon as well as I will be making a proper commission sheet with examples and prices on.
So life update:
This year started off really rocky, I suffered depression. Then my long distance fiance visited me, and we got married! So that's something. I took a little unannounced hiatus. I have had surgery during my absence, and I am doing quite a lot better.
I will be updating my Terms of Service for commissions, and that is what this journal is mainly about.
Terms of Service:
1. I will accept commissions via Twitter, here on FA, and Telegram. (though quicker responses are received on Telegram and Twitter)
2. Most of my characters are NOT available to be used in NSFW images, be that in images I draw, or someone else.
3. The commissions or any art I do is NOT allowed to be "tokenized" or used in any kind of crypto currency mining of any sort. NO NFT.
I will offer NSFW art. But there are a few rules regarding what I won't and will draw.
I WON'T DRAW:
Scat, baby fur porn, rape, extreme gore, vore, macro, micro, zoophilia...
(Exception on nappies (diapers), as long as it's not hyperfilled, there is a possibility I will draw it)
Moxi is off limits to NSFW art.
I think I remembered everything. If it's NSFW you would like, you can inquire about it and I will answer. Please don't be offended if I decline it. ^^

Hospital Update

I went to the hospital again on the 23rd of June for my check up. And even though I said I am not much better, and I am still in significant pain and still have a lot of bleeding... the doctor suggested to just "leave it alone" and see. So I might have to go back on the 18th of August. But I am thinking not to even bother. Because it will probably be the same thing again. Drive to another city, wait three hours in a hospital ... to just be told to leave it, and then drive almost 2 hours home. I don't know. I think I will just continue to bear with it.
Work from me will still be slow, since sitting is often painful for me. And I need to sit when I work on art. I will try work through my back log and get the art done that I owe.

Posted 9 years agoCommissions are closed for now, they will probably reopen at the end of May or beginning of June. The only commissions I will do at the moment is the cheap $10 Zootopia headshot option. These will close on the 17th of May.
I went to the doctor last week, and I will have to go to a hospital in another town and will probably have surgery, which scares me a lot. I have never had surgery before. The hospital here doesn't have the right equipment needed to internally check me out.
And I will be leaving on the 18th of May, I am not sure when I will be back home.
In other news, I have always wanted a tablet PC, one of those with a stylus. They are always hard to come by in my country. I finally found one on a local site similar to eBay. But I have a problem. It came without a stylus. So I am in desperate need of one. It's an HP EliteBook 2730P. eBay has the styluses, but I don't have enough money to get one. I also need to cover postage.

I just want to say that I might be a little slower with my work, I have a medical issue that prohibits me from sitting for long periods, which to me really sucks. Instead of retyping everything here, my Deviant Art journals have the stories if you are curious.

So yesterday I had a bad episode where the bleeding didn't stop for quite some time, I actually panicked about it. I should see a doctor again... but I am scared of being shunted off again and not taken serious. This is impacting my daily life. :/ If I had medical insurance, this would probably be easier than relying on a state hospital.

What a year
Posted 11 years agoI just thought I'd post a journal again about what's going on.
My mom had a stroke in July, and died the same month. I'm still very depressed about this.
Early hours of the 26th of November, my grandfather had a stroke, later that day, his lungs collapsed. He was in ICU. I just got the news that he's dying and probably won't see the weekend.
This year has been extremely depressing and stressful. Now I'm more depressed.
I will continue working on the commission I owe.
(P.S. This grandfather is my dad's father).

On the 28th of June, my mother had a stroke. It left her paralysed on the right side of her body and she couldn't talk. She spent a week in the hospital and then came home. My dad and my sisters looked after her and we had a nurse come by to help. She was doing well and made amazing progress.
My mother's condition deteriorated on Saturday the 19 of July, and she was admitted back to the hospital that Sunday. Yesterday morning, I got a call to say she passed on during the night. I'm not sure what the cause of death was, but it was probably a second stroke.
I'm beside myself with grief. The tears haven't stopped.
This loss is great and nothing can replace her. I do feel comforted though knowing that her suffering is no more. I do believe in God, and know that's she's with him now in Heaven. She's been reunited with her lost family.
One day, we'll be together again.
For now I shall mourn.
Commissions are closed. My PayPal will be defunct for a while... it was linked to her credit card which will be cancelled.
But if you really want to commission me, I'll make some sort of plan.

I'm going through a difficult time at the moment. And I'm confused and don't know how to talk about it. So, I guess I'll leave it at that because basically, who cares.
