I usually try to keep things light here, but right now I really need to be honest with you.
I’m about to graduate from university, and out of nowhere, a wave of unexpected expenses hit me like a truck. I knew there would be some costs, but I had no idea it would be this much.

This past week has been pure chaos — buried in endless bureaucracy. I thought I had everything done, only to be told I did it wrong and had to start all over again. Now I’m preparing for my final project defense: creating the physical products I designed and printing large-scale stands.
And the prices? Honestly, they floored me. I wasn’t ready for how expensive it would all be.

I haven't posted about my cat in a while, I took her to surgery today. She's having two teeth extracted. Hopefully everything will go well without complications and I'll pick her up tonight (btw three months ago she had two teeth extracted...)
I've also asked for an x-ray to make sure her life is not in danger. Because it's still unpleasant to feel broken ribs when I pet her or pick her up.

Hello guys!
Sima had her surgery today and I was very nervous. After I was told about the risks, I started to worry and at the same time reassured myself that everything would go well and without complications.
Aaaaand it did! I was very happy to see my cat awake, as if nothing had happened. Now there is recovery to be done! ^^

Also, they didn't remove the broken rib because they just now told me how dangerous it could be and generally told me how the surgery would have gone

The whole time I've been treating the cat for surgery, rebuilding her gastrointestinal and liver function. We had two blood tests and after the second one we were told that they could take Sima for surgery! The surgery is on Wednesday.
Honestly, I'm still worried. I hope everything goes well.

About the bite, my arm is long healed, Sima was in quarantine for 10 days and I got a certificate that she is healthy and rabies free. The doctors recommended not to vaccinate the cat until she has fully recovered.

I was walking my cat today and she bit me, I treated the wound and thought it would be ok. But my arm started to swell and I was in a lot of pain, and I only recently went to the emergency room

They gave me four injections, something for rabies. Now I have to get rabies injections for a while.... until I get a certificate from the vet that my cat doesn't have rabies....

We went to the vetclinic today for a checkup. Sima has some gastrointestinal problems so now we are trying to get her internal organs working properly. This is also necessary for the surgery: if she has problems, she will have a hard time with anesthesia or will take a long time to recover - that's the first thing.

The second thing is that before the surgery I have to take tests (they will cost me a lot) and then they can tell me whether she will be sterilized or not. The doctor also said that together with sterilization they can fix the problem with the ribs.
Sorry if every time I write different information about the surgery. One doctor says "it is better not to touch anything if the animal does not bother anything", and the senior doctor just said that they may try to remove the rib.

But overall she's doing well ^^
P.S. Fan fact: doctor said that in the human age she's 63 years old 💀

Hello everyone!

It's been 2 weeks and I took Sima for a second x-ray, she was screaming the whole way (but that's just because she doesn't like to ride in a backpack).

Well she feels great^^, but she still has that broken rib at the bottom of her rib cage and nothing can be done about it. The doctors still say to monitor her condition and bring her in if anything happens. They also said to register Sima for sterilization in 2 weeks so that she would not want to go outside.

I'm happy that everything's okay.
I'm starting to really believe that cats have 9 lives (well, or that Sima just has a strong immune system), it's just that so many things have happened to her before, but this incident was the worst.

I will still keep you updated on Sima's condition. And take care of yourselves and your pets!!!

Today is my birthday. I'm 20 now! I will be madly happy if you fav my works, write a comment or make a journal!
Also I won't mind if you make me a small gift - a drawing with my characters.

It's already the evening of my birthday and I'm going to bed as I'm very tired for today. In the morning I went to the Botanical Gardens, afterwards my friend's mom invited us for lunch, and we also visited a flower fair. We did a lot of walking today. All in all it was a good day, and the first birthday I have had that was so active. I think I will try to do the same in the future.

Hey there! Today I took Sima for a second checkup . Doctor said that everything is fine for now, but in 2 weeks we need to do a second x-ray and possibly do surgery and put the rib back in place. Watch her condition and if she starts breathing badly, take her to the doctor right away.

I’m really happy that she looks much better. I hope nothing happens in the meantime because I have to go to another city for almost a week. My aunt has to look after for Sima.

I took my cat to the vet today. Thanks to  Licky_Lucky_Latrans for the donate, I was able to pay for the visit, x-ray, and medication
Turns out a street dog broke 4 of her ribs and punctured one lung. They said the ribs can't be repaired, but animals can live with it.
It is still very scary that she may die because she is not young, she is almost 10 years old. I love her very much and Idk know how I will experience if she dies , BUT she is alive and I really hope that she will recover.
Now I will give her medications and shots and on Sunday I will go with her for a second checkup.

I guess I'll start over. I have a cat, Sima, who often walks outside, but then comes back home. And recently, she didn't come home. I couldn't look for her during the day because I work all day, but at night I went around the neighborhood but no luck. All night I've been crying and hoping she'll be okay.

Today when I got home after my shift I asked my mom "did Sima come home?" she said "no, but I saw her sitting in a big tree and when I called her Sima didn't pay attention and didn't move". We decided to go and get her from there. I climbed up the tree and took her down with difficulty, she hissed at me..... When I felt her I noticed she had a huge hole in her ribs and there was something squishy under her skin. I was very frightened and started looking for doctors who could help. But because it was too late in the day I was turned away, and early emergency appointments are very expensive. I have no money....
