2011 was the happiest year of my life and then also probably one of the most heart-rending

also a bunch of political stuff happened I guess and various important people and celebrities died

also I got my wisdom teeth out and now I have some vicodin which turns out to be pretty cool but probably not so cool that I'm going to take a bunch of it at once or find someone to buy it from

but I made it through and now it's a new year and things are gonna be better unless the planet explodes or whatever's supposed to happen

also I wish scifi showed the twilight zone more than like four times a year

someday I'll be able to afford to give everyone all the cool stuff they deserve

BUT FOR THIS YEAR JUST MERRY CHRISTMAS I GUESS and a bunch of you can probably just go look at that kaa picture I got from bite during sharkstream that's basically a present to everyone

some people ARE getting stuff from me of course and they know who they are

also I went to a party and drank a ton of whiskey and have pretty much only just sobered up in time to go to bed

HOLIDAYS

everyone raised like $2500 to help save sharks, I won a sweet bottle opener and kicked a couple of the latest humble indie bundles into the prize pool and got some stuff drawn

I also struck a decisive blow against  gerrark in the Boner Wars

all in all a good way to spend a weekend

so some cool people from tgchan are doing a 48-hour stream to try and raise a thousand bucks for sharks

you donate money and suggest a thing and it will probably eventually get drawn, priority goes to the highest donators though

also there are periodic raffles and you could win a shark puppet or maybe even some free commissions!

anyway they've already got over 300 bucks and it's only a few hours in, you should all come help out if you can

this game rules and it was totally worth modding my wii for and I don't really understand why NOA refuses to bring it over here

it's like final fantasy 12 combined with monster hunter and also you can jump and basically go anywhere in the world that you can see

I think some people hate the voice acting or something but it isn't bad, I mean everyone's british and that is not really a thing you can go wrong with

plus it's got a neat setting and it is fun 10/10

in preparing for this I have encountered a horrible dilemma

I got too many movies and now I don't know what to show

I think I definitely want to show catwoman because it is just amazing

but then I don't know what to show after it, I have several awful movies about snakes and a bunch of kung-fu stuff including wu-tang clan presents fist of legends II: iron bodyguards and like ten sonny chiba movies

I also have the pagemaster after recently thinking about how much I loved it and wanted macaulay culkin's bike as a child and reading that it was extremely poorly received and holds like an 18 on rotten tomatoes

gerrark has also proposed the novel idea of showing a GOOD movie second, in which case I guess I could show grosse pointe blank or maybe cape feare or something

it's getting to be time to look at buying plane tickets for AC, and so if a hotel room doesn't turn up in the next couple weeks I guess me and  grandpandaman aren't going. it kind of sucks cause there are people we were hoping to meet but everyone who has said they had room has suddenly not had room and I'm not buying plane tickets without a place to stay

anyway I've moved into my own place which is pretty cool and I'm doing a lot of cooking, just bought a food processor. also pandaman has started doing streams where he draws stuff while we argue, if you are interested in him drawing and us disputing how to correctly pronounce "herb" you will enjoy it
