Jude Law and a Semester Abroad
Posted 14 years agoAnd even if her plane crashes tonight she'll find some way to disappoint me,
by not burning in the wreckage or drowning at the bottom of the sea.
And if you ever said you missed me then don't say you never lied.
Tell all the English boys you meet, about the American boy back in the States,
the American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say.
Who would do anything you say...
Never gonna get it right, you're never gonna get it
No more songs about you
After this one, I am done
You are, you are, you're gone
by not burning in the wreckage or drowning at the bottom of the sea.
And if you ever said you missed me then don't say you never lied.

Posted 14 years agoIs that what you call tact? You're as subtle as a brick in the small of my back, so let's end this call, and end this conversation. And is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with 'cause you left the frays from the ties you severed when you say best friends means friends forever.
So is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with because I've seen more spine in jellyfish; I've seen more guts in eleven year old kids. So have another drink and drive yourself home. I hope there's ice on all the roads so you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt and again when your head goes through the windshield!

Lights Go On Again
Posted 15 years agoIn case you didn’t know, I have had a pretty rough start this year. I was dumped during the Christmas holidays, had to move back to my hometown, switch schools before I was done my first year of Pre-Pharmacy (therefore forfeiting my dream career), lost my friends I worked hard to get while in school and work, and I had to learn to cope with my first breakup as he was my first love.
Fortunately, this is where the bad news ends for me.
I have no regrets and no mistakes. A mistake would imply you never learn anything from your decisions, so in theory, I have never made a mistake. Learning the many lessons I have gained from these years has given me perspective into people, my life, and more importantly, myself.
I am very appreciative and grateful that I have such supportive family and friends that have helped me deal with these hardships thrown at me lately. With what has happened, I am thankful that all of you have been very patient and understanding. I commend you for not wanting to rip my head off for my constant pestering and seeking guidance. You know who you are, and I sincerely love you guys. Thank you so much.
I am on the road of making myself succeed in my new career choice. I am still young to enjoy everything life has to offer, good or bad. Most importantly, I am on my way to becoming a much happier person and that’s all I could ask of myself.
I deserve that much.

Animethon Dances!!
Posted 15 years agoSongs I plan to dance to at Animethon with my portable boombox lol. With the exception of Again & Again and Bo Peep Bo Peep (which I hope my furry friends will dance to and/or with me so I can get it on video), I am only dancing to the chorus bits of the songs.
Still unsure what costume I should wear to dance these songs to. Yellow Ranger or Ash Ketchum?
Bo Peep Bo Peep - T-Ara (Learned)
Wedding Dress - Taeyang (Learned)
Sorry Sorry - Super Junior (Learned)
Abracadabra - Brown Eyed Girls (Learned)
Shock - Beast (50%)
Gee - SNSD (80%)
Tell Me Your Wish - SNSD (50%)
Again & Again - 2PM (70%)
10 Points Out of 10 - 2PM (60%)
Mirotic - DBSK (20%)
RingDingDong - SHINee (75%)
Lucifer - SHINee (0%)
Replay - SHINee (20%)
Rainism - Rain (40%)
Y - MBLAQ (30%)

So it went pretty well... :P
Posted 15 years agoMy protest went pretty well on Saturday. The radio stations and the Calgary Herald have not contacted me since I emailed them back after their responses but I think that would be miscommunication on my part since we did not stay at Three Mile Bend all day. Anyways!
FoxMc and I suited up while Tora played the unofficial official spokeperson with our tiny group. Throughout the day people gave us weird looks, people honked with their thumbs up and thumbs down, some people ran to us for pictures, and even some douchebags tried spraying us with their waterguns while Tora flipped them off and I made the jerkoff motion. Well come on, an SUV full of shirtless guys trying to make a beaver moist? Sorry. I'll stop.
While this is a really wide range of reactions upon seeing us, the people walking around Three Mile Bend made it a point to tell us that they agree wholeheartedly with what we are doing. Got many funny reactions from the many dogs too. So sorry!
We spent a good hour of that day having slurpees at a Macs since it was so bloody hot out, and we even got more signatures from random people. I have also made a petition and more than half of the list has been filled. I just need to find the time to give it to Trevor Poth. I wonder if it would take away from the seriousness if I presented it to him suited up? :P
Brenda Kossowan of the Red Deer Advocate came to interview us as well, and her photographer took pictures. You can read the article here: http://www.albertalocalnews.com/red....._99229724.html
Thank you

foxmc for helping me out. :)

Posted 15 years agoSo I have some great news... I hope XD
With
temperance's suggestion about a week ago that I should have a protest against the unfair treatment of the beavers that they would either be relocated or killed, I have organized a protest with
tora_the_maestro that opts for relocating rather than euthanizing. After all, it was the dog owner's responsibility to keep their dogs safe and they failed to do so. My preference is that the beavers will be left alone in their area they have made home and educate the public to be more responsible in an area teeming with wildlife but obviously if this cannot be done, then relocation is the next best choice.
Already I have made contact with two major radio stations in Red Deer (CKGY and Zed99) and two newspapers (The Calgary Herald and The Red Deer Advocate).
The Red Deer Advocate already included our names in their news story in light of the recent beaver shooting as well: http://www.albertalocalnews.com/red....._99100264.html
I will be suiting with
foxmc at the site where the dog attacks and beaver shooting occurred (Three Mile Bend) at 11 am on Saturday July 24. If anyone who reads this journal wants to join then I will be grateful if you came. If you cannot, and judging by the lack of posts on the thread I made on
Albertafurries regarding this protest, I won't have any hard feelings if you can't make it. This will be done anyways.
Thanks!

Some really retarded news today...
Posted 15 years agoSo, I was notified by a friend that some beavers in Red Deer (where I live) are going to be trapped and killed. Why?
Because some beavers were in a park that happens to be an offleash dog park with a river bank and tons of trees. Perfect for a beaver, no? Yet, some owners did not keep their dogs on their leash when they encountered these beavers and allowed for the dogs to chase after them. The beaver did what was necessary for its survival and defended itself by attacking the dog when the beaver felt threatened. One dog died from blood loss and another had stitches, and now Red Deer is planning to kill the "aggressive" beaver(s).
Seriously? The Park's Superintendant Trevor Poth acknowledged that "beavers are usually not aggressive unless threatened by other animals" but "because of the gravity of the incidents, the beavers will be trapped and killed".
Good job. These owners let their dogs chase after some wild animals and you are going to kill these beavers for acting on a most basic instinct? At least re-locate the damn beavers or inform the public to keep their dogs on a leash when they encounter wildlife. There is no need for killing them. FFS!
