Duckman
General | Posted 12 years agoWe're all adults here...right? Ahem.
Way back in the "day" a certain duck was pushing the boundaries of fowl sexuality and humor.
Oh Pleeeze tell me you know of Duckman! *bukaw!*

Happy Jacques SOLD!
General | Posted 13 years agoIt's bitter-sweet because I love Happy Jacques http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9107396/ he is my most complex cel painting to date and my most precious child ...but I'm super pleased that he has found a great, new home. A wonderful lady came into office the other day and bought Happy Jacques! Though I'm sad to see him go but...to have him in the hands of someone that is going to love him...well...that's what art is all about. I mean if you're doing art, keeping it on the floor in your bedroom? What's that about? Getting it out there? That's love. :) Thanks for Loving Happy Jacques!
The Gift of Slavery
General | Posted 13 years agoOnce in a while a wonderful gift comes along. A gift of freedom, a gift of mindlessness, and of eternal bondage...and a thoughtful gift from a friend.
Such a boon has come to me via the most generous
Kirisha via her Rubberbird conversion and resulting high position in the hierarchy of The Overbird's Empire.
Here is the gift http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9365200/ as envisioned by the most talented
Trunchbull
I am humbled by the presentation and most grateful to Kirisha for her kind gift. And since I'm in a time of difficulty, this gift means more than most. Much thanks, scaly Mistress. Much thanks indeed! :)

The Squid has left the building!
General | Posted 13 years agoYeah, gotta crow a bit! I sold one of my favorite cel paintings today: Busy Squid!
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7785454/
Something told me that he wouldn't be around for long because he's pretty cute and colorful.
A very nice young lady came into the office today, her and her husband really appreciate art, and she picked Busy Squid to go home with her. Yay!
That marks the 4th work that I've sold publicly in the last two months, those works being some of my faves: Banjo Tarantula, Coo Frog, Hummingbird cel and Busy Squid! Now if only I could have time to do more and make a living selling my art...time to kiss the 9 to 5 goodbye! :)
Man Of A Thousand Voices
General | Posted 13 years agoIt's about Mel Blanc (Bugs Bunny himself)...not only super talented but also super nice and beyond genius, funny and smart. It's great to see something like this that brings a human face to those characters that we grew up with and loved. He influenced generations of voice actors and more...it's not hard to see why.

Much Thanks!
General | Posted 13 years agoTo all those that faved Hellawulf Torment AND Urban Crow, I want to say thanks for those faves so much!
FA is starting to get way too slow (and way too picky about shout limits) for me to thank you individually. I still intend to keep on trying to do so though, but it's taking a long time.
Anyway, Thank you! :)
The Truth about Killer Dinosaurs
General | Posted 13 years agoYeah it's from the BBC and it compares T-Rex and Triceratops and what might have come about between the two in battle...using mechanical biometrics and composite models based on size and tensile strength of real bone and real muscle...and real (possible) brain-power and vision.
If you're a dino fan (and I know you are) and you like true science with a flair..then you'll dig this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUpfJd07pfM&feature=share&list=PL4E1BBDE9BEB8D251
In the classic battle between the two...who do you think would win? You might be surprised.

Dino Squad and Dino Transformation
General | Posted 13 years agoWhy has no one told be about this cartoon before?!
Of course I loves me some dinos and Extreme Dinosaurs and DinoSaucers rocks! I hadn't heard of this show before and I find it entertaining for obvious reasons.
http://youtu.be/JT1MLL5RjPY
If you like transformation (and I know you do) then you'll dig this. Sometimes they, like, transform way TOO much, but that's probably show filler more than anything. and the transformations are a bit "too" convenient at times as well.
The Dinos look seriously drawn if not accurate. But hey, who am I to turn down even inaccurate dinos...because I'm a dinowhore! ;)
The show is a bit moralistic, but there's a bad guy and he's a raptor (HISSSSS) because raptors always get a bad rap.... as in Bad Raptor! ;D
I'm attracted to the pterosaur dude, but then you knew I would be. Makes me wanna draw some more dino porn now. ;)
Here's a question: If you could transform into ANY dinosaur that you want (and possibly be stuck in that state forever) which would it be?
SoFurry n' Me

Thanks from the Rubberbird
General | Posted 13 years agoTo all of those that wished me a Happy Hatchday (even those that did not bow before me)...I want to say "thank you". :) There were way too many comments and congrats for me to respond to individually so I want to give you a shout and CAWWWW! and say thanks en mass.
When you are all enslaved I will remember your comments and well wishes...and torture you individually (with love). :D
Yours, in rubber.

Birth of a Rubberbird
General | Posted 13 years agoYes this most auspicious day marks the birth of one Mr.Minos. (After conversion a new birthday begun)...but this is the day of days when he/me was unleashed upon an unsuspecting world. Woe unto you oh Earth!
You may bow before me now.... :)

Super Dance Party!
General | Posted 13 years agoFrom the awesome mind and imagination of
Barzona comes the ultimate (if silent) flash animation from his fertile bull mind. Ahem, and yes there's a little wicked MrMinos Rooster/Cockerel action in there too.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8111410/
I think there needs to be some "house" music up in here!
Good stuff from Bar Z! (a most excellent artist) Check him out. :)

Screaming Chameleon
General | Posted 13 years agoGot Vinyl?
General | Posted 13 years agoYeah, I'm talking about Record Store Day!
I'm a bit late 'cause Record Store Day was yesterday (April 19)...yet time is timeless and some things should be seen, if you're into that sorta thing anyway.
Here's a cool little documentary (it's about 27mins) about the joy of music, records and those that dig sounds and bands...with a focus on the very old, yet very hip n' cool source of music that came from the actual stamped vinyl disks called albums. *gasp* Yes some antique thing that uses physical means and moving parts to recreate sound. :O
If you're in the US you should be able to view this documentary...but I don't know about the UK or other countries. You'll have to give it a try.
http://www.snagfilms.com/films/titl.....he_documentary
Now I'm a bit remiss in finding out about Record Store Day...but then I put on vinyl nearly every weekend (because I love music of all kinds) and "burn up" my turn-table and very ancient Cerwin-Vega speakers with much rock and other oddities.
I remember my very first record purchase (and I still have the record ) it's still in pretty good shape. There's a very good chance my "vinyl" is much, much older than you. :D
If you dig music you might like this little documentary. Check it!
Harry James- Green Onions
General | Posted 13 years agoBehold! Soulful old white men.
You will never again see such a collection of soulful faces and joy of music as you will see in this video. Look and wonder at the power of music through these masters from the past.
Don’t laugh at those receding hairlines and the old clothes…for that is YOU one day.

Where's there's a Whip...there's a way!
General | Posted 14 years agoI enjoy this little clip for such obvious reasons: I love the Orcs (these are the best Orcs IMHOP) and of course there's a whip for motivation. >:)

From the Animated Return of the King circa 1980...one of the first versions of Lord of the Rings I ever saw.
Also there's Goblins! Wait for it, get over the singing because there is a TON of it in the books.
http://youtu.be/zPkqjc23yqs
And of course the first Hobbit movie I ever saw (animated of course) because how else could you do it back in 1977?

Time to Crow!
General | Posted 14 years agoYeeehaww, I found out today that I sold another art piece in gallery!
This piece, framed and matted of course, sold at the Danville Community Arts Center:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6415831/
It's my little pen and ink frog. Certainly it's not the most money that I've made selling art...but there's something special (and ego trip-boosting) ;D about someone walking through a gallery and liking your stuff enough to buy it!
What's sweet is that it is my second piece to sell there and I've sold a about 5 more privately .
Forgive my crowing here...but it's nice when someone likes your stuff. :)

Nemsis The Warlock and Commodore 64 Music
General | Posted 14 years agoMusic from the video game composed by Rob Hubbard in 1983. Pretty fantastic for its time, IMHOP. I like the rawness of it. The theme has power even for so primitive a media. Of course there are more up to date, sexier versions of this Warlock Theme on youtube, but this is the one that I can't stop listening to...thought I would share. :)

Cat Scratch
General | Posted 14 years agoOk here's some music for you...perhaps meant for those of an older generation when some rock (as in ROCK N' ROLL) was hard.
This might be the original furry rocker. See, he has a tail and he's definitely wild! I remember this from a long time ago...Wow some wicked stuff back then. Perhaps the wilderness is still in us all? Yeah probably.
So, if you wish, settle back for some Cat Scratch Fever ala Ted Nugent.

Hopefully this link works for all....

The Saint Inspector
General | Posted 14 years agoPerhaps one of the oddest, if not coolest, animations that I've seen in a long time. If you meet the criteria then you, too, can become a Saint. ;) Stop motion animation by the Bolex Brothers from 1996.
Warning! Surrealism ahead....and some claymation cartoon nudity of the male anatomy.

General | Posted 14 years agoA really excellent documentary on the most prominent surrealist of our time. There's a reason he's famous and known. It's all because of...him.

Quite a fun watch to be sure, and it might tell you some things you never knew before, or presumed you knew. An eye-opener for me as well!. :)
