Ok, so I think I might've figured out what the problem is: I haven't been drawing with a pencil and paper for a while, and when I'm on the computer, I guess because it didn't feel natural, I was trying to get something perfect with something I'm not perfect with. I'm writing this journal now because I resumed work on an older sketch in my sketch book and I actually already like where it's going, so we'll see how I finish it, and I do have a plan for how I should handle drawing with the computer.

I'll slash out the previous journal, but I still think I need time before I do anything. So the hiatus is still in effect until I start uploading things again.

I see no one comments much on the journals I post up, no problem, these are more or less for me to know what's up with myself, and if anyone's curious, they could read, and possibly give me their thoughts.




ACTUALLY... Do you guys think I should do something like "TMI Tuesday" or whatever people do nowadays? I feel like something like that would connect me even more with you fuzzles. Recommend things for me to do, even if it's free art journals or w/e just tell me! :D


EDIT** I really don't like listing names, but thank you to the people I've spoken with about this all the other day, I feel like I just needed someone and you guys were there.

I just don't know how to draw anything right now, it doesn't feel like a temporary art block, it feels so permanent, and I don't want it to be like this. I try drawing something, anything, and it doesn't look good, or I have no courage to finish it, I feel like it's just gone, like, it didn't like me, the creative artsy side of me is gone. I don't know if or when I will upload anything in the future, we'll just have to wait and seen. I'll leave myself on an indefinite hiatus. I'm so sorry to everyone that actually liked my work, I'm proud of stuff I've done before but this feels so, horrible. I'm making this journal, but who's gonna give me their thoughts? Is it even worth the effort of typing all of this? Whatever, I did it anyway, just, here ya go, I guess...

I feel like, I'm slowly starting to loose my creativity in art, it's just starting to not feel good drawing anything right now and it kinda bothers me that I'm thinking this way. Maybe this is an art block, but, I was actually just sketching the 2nd page to that comic I'm working on and I feel so, lost. I don't know what to say, but, it's bothering me.

Total says it all, and my last journal indirectly hinted this. I want to make sure I concentrate on school, so I'm putting art on like a 95% pause. If I ever get an opportunity to doodle something between now and then, and I can upload it, maybe I will, but I know after next Friday, I'm sure I'll feel less stressed about making sure my grades are fine and I'll work on things again.

The second page to the comic is still not even sketched out, and I'm sorry to the winner, , that I'm taking forever to get it done, but I think school's a bit more important right now.

The title isn't really subtle here, but I have uploaded quite a bit of unseen sketches and versions of some of my artwork that only really I've seen and I just wanted to share it, ALL onto my Dropbox, which can be accessed through my profile info up top. I'm on my phone so it's kinda hard to flip around pasting links and such.

My grades in school are pretty... decent... I'll say. I want them higher, is what I'm saying, and because of that, I haven't been concentrating on a lot of other things. Like drawing, my own personal projects, and I too, have even been distracting myself from school with talking to friends, trying to make friends, checking online constantly and leaving Skype open for people to reach out to me. It's hard because I'm used to a certain routine that's so careful, because I'm always being cautious with what my mother sees me doing. She knows I embrace the title "furry" and I'm a fox and whatnot, but she's barely seen anything I've done or drawn, because I know she'd think it's wrong for me to draw it or something, she'd just be disgusted but the truth is, it's something the world allowed me to do, and so I'm doing it. Tough tits. No pun intended because she's my mom or anything. >3>

And here you kinda have it already that I'm just slow with art because, I just, mentioned, why; yeah.

Alright, so,

Recently, I've been thinking a lot about how I should see the world, because there's so many ways to do so and... I'll just say this: In case no one really checked the video in my last journal, please do so. I feel like it helped me so much with just explaining again how I should think. Here, you don't even have to go that far to see it.

Also, I've been meaning to get more shit out, but I haven't, oh noes. .-.

I want to give a little warning about this here, I'm actually working on re-shading it, and I'll replace the old file with the newer one when I'm done with it. I had a method for how to shade a picture, but I think I just mystically gained the knowledge on how to cellshade and I'm gonna practice that right now.

Hello again!

Alright, so, as you can probably see, I've been posting up more adult work. Reason being is that you guys like it, and personally, I like it, too! So, have fun pawing off if so you want to!

The journal's title says two things: One, that I'm alive, which has probably been obvious with the art that I've posted up recently. And two, that I have come up with my own personal submission method. Yeah, so, my plan on how I'll be doing personal art for now will be to upload a colored sketch like this, then in the future, whenever I want, I'll work on proper inking, coloring, and shading! Wrrhrr!!

Hmm, other than that, again, I can't think of much else to add. My birthday is coming up in March, and my 2nd anniversary for being Xanyo is 5 days before that. Hopefully I'll be somewhere doing something fun rather than reclining in my seat and pawing to others' work.

Been awhile again since I've posted a personal journal, but I figured I should because now, there's somethings I could bring up. ^^ One, for Christmas, I got THIS, :D and I have to wait til I get home to use it because I'm at my father's, I live with my mom. DX I wanna touch it and stroke it and love it ;3;... Anyway, aside from that, I did get some money ^^ (saving some of it) and I also got some... ear warmers, and tons of shirts and such. xD

Hello all ^^,

As it seems, it's been some time since I've posted a journal up, and it's a little late now, and it's the weekend, so I decided to use and abuse my "fuck-it" adjustment to post one up!

I guess I could mention a few things;
1. I may be getting this for Christmas.~ I'm so excited ^^, my previous tablet was basically one just to get the feel of how to use and work with them, imo. So I appreciate my mom getting that one in the first place! ^^
2. I'm aware that the new Xbox has come out today, but I'm not interested in getting it, not any other console coming out. They all don't catch my interest and I'm not looking forward to advertising in my consoles. :I So I'm sticking to my wonderful and glorious PS2, GameCube, and PS games, as well as w/e computer games I may get.
3. I've been sketching up quite a bit of things in my sketchbook and I haven't uploaded much of anything since the last little collage of things. Should I get back to doing that? Since I can actually upload pics from my phone anyway. :P Maybe I should... >.>

Hmm, well, besides things not related to me, I can't say I really have too much else to say. I have joined a lot of raffles recen-... OH!!

The new policy that FA has brought up regarding advertising raffles and pimping raffles seems like an "okay" decision. Obviously I can see why people strenuously hate this decision, and I've seen other's totally adore Fender for this. I don't want to voice my opinion too hard for one side than the other, I'll just say this decision doesn't bother me.

Hello, I said that these journals would come sporadically but hey, I actually have things to talk about.

From the title, you can see I'd like to talk about art, more specifically, I want to talk about that YCH I posted up a few weeks ago. I did mention it was a school project before, so I worked on it hard enough to at least get the two front characters drawn ( ravelights and zildjainzone ) and, of course, I handed in the project as that to my teacher. (Gotta 93/100 for it ^^) AND I DO PLAN ON FINISHING IT!! Sorry for caps-locking that, but I don't want people to be worried that I had forgotten about it, or abandoned it after I got it half completed for school. I actually plan on trying to complete it very soon, for my next reason.

As you also may be able to see from the title, I mention that I'll possibly be away from my computer. This is because I'm also not receiving the absolute best grades either. ;3; I'm not failing, and I'm not really on the verge of failing, but my mom doesn't want to see Cs and Ds on my report card, and unfortunetaly, they'll be their, laughing at her and telling her truly how lazy her son is. Either lazy, or unfocused. Either or, I haven't been concentrating on school because I also have a life that doesn't concentrate and put school first. I like drawing and socializing, ffs I'm a human, too.

But I guess to sum it up, there's a chance I'll have my laptop taken away and I'll be away from FA and w/e other sites I'm on, BUT, I plan on trying to release that YCH before report cards come in, which is Nov. 13th. So I've got time, and that picture will be up soon.
