πSilly Meπ #1: Making My Own Ads
Posted 9 years agoLast Christmas, the biggest thing that I want was a RetroN 3 from Hyperkin. It's a 3-port video game system that plays NES, Super NES, and Sega Genesis game cartridges. Fearing that my parents don't know what I really want, I decided to make my own advertisement or some sort. I put the pictures, the logos, and a lot of information on it. I listed the console colors and check boxes by them. I wanted a black one so I put a check on it and crosses on the others. And I even listed the hazards and put the elongated website on there. My parents got my ad thingy, but then I was thinking what kind of silly thing I have done. So I created a shortened version of it by removing the check boxes, hazard list, and website name. At first I thought it was a dumb and silly idea to do something like this, but at least my parents really understand what I really want for Christmas.

Spyke Tyranno Dream

SpykeTyranno. I gave him a hug and rubbed his big belly (silliest idea ever π). Suddenly my mom dragged me away from Spyke. She was really upset about what I did. π I guess I should mind my mother all the time. π

Mom's Gator is Stuck in the Mud!
Posted 9 years agoDecember 7th last year was not a good day for me! This was when I got the gator stuck in the mud! Around 11:30 that morning, I decided to go for a drive around Grandma's property on my mother's Gator 4x2. Little as I knew, when I went off the driveway to the shortcut to Grandma's, I got stuck! The Gator got stuck in the mud that came from all of the big rain from October. I tried to get the Gator out by getting Grandma's shovel to dig the mud from the tires. I spent about 2 hours working and thinking what am I going to do. My first thought was mom is going to kill me if word of this gets out. I left the Gator in the mud until everybody comes home at the end of the day. When everybody got home, my brother Price called me that he heard about what happened. I went back to the Gator and Price was down there with Uncle Ralph. We attached the Gator and Priceβs truck with Grandmaβs chain and he pulled. It came out of the mud and itβs free! After hosing it down and took it home, I told my mom the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. She didnβt get mad at me and she understood I made a big accident. Since then we never took the detour to get to Grandmaβs, we go to the end of our driveway and cut across Uncle Wayneβs property on the Gator.
Thatβs the end of my story!
Thatβs the end of my story!

Have You Played Aero the Acro-Bat Before?

Developer: Iguana Entertainment
Publisher: Sunsoft
Platforms: Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
Story: 4/5 β β β β β
Music: 5/5 β β β β β
Graphics: 4/5 β β β β β
Gameplay: 3/5 β β β ββ
You play as a "batty" circus performer named Aero as he goes on a quest to save his friends, the circus, and the whole world from an evil magician and industrialist Edgar Ektor.
Edgar Ektor was once a boy who was banished from the circus for doing dangerous pranks. He vowed revenge that he will destroy every circus from all over the world. Ektor created his own industry and he teams up with Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel. During a performance at the circus, Aero and the Flying Pepperonis were doing an act until the lights went out. Ektor appears in front of Aero and tells him that he captured his friends and he will destroy the circus. It's up to Aero to save his friends, the circus, and the world from the evil industrialist.
Aero will also astound you when he fires from cannons, cross a tightrope with a unicycle, and even goes bungee jumping in his journey. If you really want to go bungee jumping in real life but never got a chance, you can simulate that moment in this game. It's an awesome 16-bit game with nice graphics and totally cool music.
The quest continues in Aero the Acro-Bat 2.
Aero the Acro-Bat is a lesser-known character that really interests me. He and I were both born in 1993. I really like his style and attitude. I now have a used copy of Aero the Acro-Bat for my SNES and RetroN 3 but I never finished it yet. You will enjoy this game, sometimes you might rage quit over losing a lot of lives by jumping into spikes. Never give up and always try again until you get the hang of it.

Wacky Tony Bear / Nick Wolf Dream
Posted 9 years agoI sometimes dream about you guys on a night, some in a bizarre twist. Last night I dreamt about me in some sort of space ship and I saw Tony Bear (from
FurryDude88). Later on I also saw
nickwolf wearing a suit and a tie (kind of like the one he wears in a pic I saw but without the vest), and his stomach growls. Yeah it's kinda strange why am I dreaming all of this, but they do happen.

My Favorite Fairy Tales DVD
Posted 10 years agoI should have told you this a long time ago (that includes
MDTartist83). One time I went to Walmart, I looked at the DVD movies, and I saw a fairy tale cartoon collection that has the same images from My Favorite Fairy Tales. It has a different title and it wasn't from Saban Brands on this one. I forgot what the title is so I just need anyone else to know about it too.

Posted 10 years agoI live in South Carolina and I just saw on TV that there was a mass shooting at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston. The shooter used to go to the same high school as I went to. I feel so sorry for these people that lost their loved ones in the massacre. Shame on you, Dylann Roof!

My Thoughts on Aero the Acro-Bat
Posted 10 years agoThe world has heard of furry video game characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong, Fox McCloud from Star Fox, Crash Bandicoot, etc. There are newcomers that will appear in the near future such as Mutt from Lobodestroyo and Yooka and Laylee from Yooka-Laylee. But there are other game furries that are completely forgotten such as the Battletoads, Earthworm Jim, Bubsy Bobcat, Awesome Possum, Rocky Rodent, etc. The one character that got me more interested is Aero the Acro-Bat.
Aero the Acro-Bat and I were both born in 1993. He captivates me by his appearance and the way he does for a living which is working at a circus. The Aero the Acro-Bat video game was created by David Siller and was originally released for Super Nintendo and SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive in 1993 by Iguana Entertainment for Sunsoft. It was also re-released for GameBoy Advance in 2002. Aero the Acro-Bat 2 was planned to be re-released for GBA, but it got cancelled. It was even advertised on the back of the instruction booklet of the GBA version of the first Aero game.
He used to be one of the competing anthropomorphic video game mascots to compete against Sonic the Hedgehog in the early '90s. Its 1993 TV commercial "Bite Me!" has some really good early CG animation of Aero. What really disappoints me the most is that unlike Sonic the Hedgehog, there is NOT an animated movie or a cartoon series of Aero the Acro-Bat.
There are some voice samples of Aero in the 2 games such as "yeah!", "yippee!", "wow!", and my favorite one "y'ouch!" We can tell that he is one of those characters with a cute squeaky voice. Although the actor that did these samples were never credited in the games. My choices for Aero's voice today would be either actors Danny Mann, Frank Welker, or Andy Serkis. I would highly recommend Danny Mann because he did a lot of talented voices in a lot of cartoon shows from the '80s and '90s. He even did some squeaky voice characters such as Icarus the flying squirrel in Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland and Tasha the baby dinosaur in Land of the Lost. I would hate it if Aero sounded like one of the Chipmunks, which would be a bad reference. The music that was used in the 2 Aero the Acro-Bat games was done by a company called Fox Productions and they sounded great and I love it!
Aero's origin is unknown but I once researched the Internet that he works at a circus called the Zingling Bros. and Virtual Reality Astro Circus. He became a member of performers known as the Flying Pepperonis. They're talented Italian bats name Ace, Shade, and Flappy. The first Aero game never mentioned or showed us how Aero became a circus performer and joined the Flying Pepperonis in the first place. In the second Aero game we knew he was also a member of a band called Rowdy Rust. It also never mentioned or showed us how he also became a member of the band. He even has a girlfriend named Aerial who is too an acrobat.
Aero has an arch rival named Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel who got his own SNES/Genesis game too. But his worst enemy is an evil industrialist named Edgar Ektor, who was once a young boy was banished from the circus for performing dangerous tricks on unsuspecting members of the circus. He vowed revenge of amusements and proclaimed that one day he would destroy it all! That begins Aero's journey who unknowingly becomes a vigilante crime fighter in order to rescue his friends and the world of amusements. The 2 Aero games tell the entire story of Aero's quest. So Aero the Acro-Bat 2 is actually a "Part 2" of the first game.
Aero the Acro-Bat has been forgotten and I think that needs to change. He's been lying dormant since the original 2D gaming era came to an end. I hope that one day that Aero will make a comeback if there is an Aero the Acro-Bat 3, a remastered remake, or a reboot. It can be a classic 2D platformer, a 3D platformer, or both just like the Nintendo 3DS version of Sonic Lost World.
I have a pre-owned copy of Aero the Acro-Bat for my old SNES. It's not an easy kids' game because some of the levels are long and it lacks saving or password systems. It doesn't matter; it's still a classic 2D platformer with great music. If you still play an old Super Nintendo, SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, or a GameBoy Advance today get Aero the Acro-Bat 1 & 2 online or at a used video game store. Or if you have a Wii or a Wii U, get them on the Wii Virtual Console. I would say that today's kids of all ages will enjoy and adore Aero the Acro-Bat!
