On the removal of one of my stories
Posted 3 years agoHey all,
I made the decision to remove Breaking Barriers: Better Batter from my gallery. The contents of that story were based on a real-life experience I had and were not written with the permission of the other person involved, which I've realized is not a very ethical thing to do. In hindsight, I shouldn't have written it in the first place. I still have some other--completely fictional--stories planned to write and release at... some point probably, so you can look forward to those. Sorry if this is disappointing news, but disappointing some people online matters less than not being shitty to that person.
Thanks for understanding,
Brey

Story update + character art coming soon!
Posted 4 years agoHeya!
I just want to inform my watchers that the next story, unfortunately, is still in the planning stages. As of now, I have written very little of the actual thing, as I am trying to focus on building an interesting world and planning the development of the plot and characters before putting pen to paper... or fingers to keys I suppose. Now, while I doubt many of you horny animals out there are hurting, yearning, ~desperately craving~ that sweet, juicy MrYiffPants content, I do have a consolation in case anyone actually is disappointed that the story itself is still a ways off:
Part of my planning involves figuring out what all the characters look like, which to someone as fiscally irresponsible as me, means commissioning art!!! :O
At this moment, I have three pieces in progress, all done by lovely artists whose poor souls don't know what I'll be doing with the characters they're lovingly bringing into this world. These are Brey (my poopy alternate fursona who is LONG overdue for a ref sheet) and two of the main characters from the upcoming sci-fi story I'm working on. Hopefully you'll enjoy getting to see "me" for the first time, as well as catching a glimpse of some upcoming characters I'd be delighted for you to get to know! Hopefully they will be finished within the next few days; I can't wait for you to meet them!
Thanks for the attention uwu,
Brey
P.S.
I'm still open to input on that whole "first person shifting perspective" thing. It'd be nice to get people's opinions on that before I return to the BreyArgenverse.

My next story
Posted 5 years agoWARNING! SEVERE OVERTHINKING AHEAD!
Hey all!
Just here to say that I haven't forgotten about this account and to confirm that I am, in fact, working on a new story. I had made some progress with the sequel to Better Batter, but I wasn't completely convinced that the direction it was heading would satisfy what I expected it to be (the original was based on a real experience of mine after all). As a result, I decided to transition over to a different scenario and set of characters altogether. I'm making this journal to both to probe your opinions about the Brey/Argen story and to provide some context for the one that should be the next uploaded.
Better Batter Sequel (this section won't make much sense unless you've read Better Batter)
This story is a continuation of the relationship established between the characters Brey and Argen and sees them in a more intimate state having to face a new poop-related challenge. It's about further strengthening their bond through overcoming sudden embarrassment, but in order to properly communicate how their feelings have evolved since the first story, I want to explore Argen and his thoughts far more thoroughly and essentially promote him to co-protagonist. For stylistic reasons, however, I want to maintain that all stories about Brey be in first person. You might now see the problem. I don't want to shift the perspective to third person omniscient to accommodate both the main characters' thoughts, but keeping the entire story in Brey's perspective would be far too limiting. The solution I decided to work with was the ol' fanfiction staple: first person shifting perspective. Alternating between Brey and Argen's points of view lets me achieve the goals I had in mind, but it just feels... weird...? I don't think I'm having trouble executing it cleanly; my problem is that it just feels like an innately tacky and amateurish(?) thing to do. It's a pretty stupid reason to have doubts, but they're there none the less.
I want to know what you fuzzbutts think about first person shifting perspective. Does it turn you off of a story? If not, I can continue refining and working on writing this sequel the way I have been, but until I know people will actually read it, I don't want to commit more time to it.
Upcoming story
This story, on the other hand, I know what I want to do with. I intend to take it in a different direction in terms of its handling of the fetish content. It will still be about pooping and overcoming embarrassment (this time in a sci-fi setting), but I want to significantly modify the narration's acknowledgement of the shitting that goes on. In my previous stories, the narration- whether first person or third- has gone into exhaustive effort detailing the exact way the characters feel about the situations in an attempt to get the reader to call back on any similar feelings they may have had, and in doing so, I have filled up the bulk of the stories' text with words about the pooping itself. There's certainly a place for that, and I don't intend to stop writing stories the way I have if people really like them, but I might relegate that style of narration to the first-person stories in the future.
For this next story, I'm trying something new, something that falls more in line with the way I experienced this kink growing up. If you've read my bio, you know that the hottest part of shitting is the juxtaposition of the other guy doing it and my relationship with him to the gross and embarrassing thing that one (or both) of us is doing. I am not nearly as aroused by the actual actions taking place as I am by experiencing it as a culmination of our shared history, his personality, and the situation we're in. It's not the poop- it's not even the pooping- it's that he is the one doing it (or knowing that I'm doing it). Aggressive acknowledgement of the pooping and explicit description of the characters' thoughts can communicate the way they experience similar feelings, but it requires them to essentially share the kink with the reader and doesn't allow the reader to rediscover their own personal feelings in quite the same way.
For this reason, I don't intend to spend pages describing how embarrassed the main character is by the thought pooping in front of others, or how overwhelmed he feels by the presence of a hot guy he secretly likes. Instead, I want to write it like a regular story, focusing on developing the plot and characters to a point that when they start pooping (something that will still be prominently-featured, just written about differently), the reader is the one who feels that way about them. You can think of it like a pooping scene in something that is otherwise just a good movie with characters you like- just longer and more important. Their lives won't seem to revolve around poop in a way that makes it look like the story is trying to arouse you, but you'll get the same feeling as when that really cool character you've come to love and respect drops his pants and unabashedly takes a dump on-screen. I think this falls more in-line with the vision I had when I sought out to share the way I experience this fetish.
Anyway, let me know your thoughts about both of these things. I know I rambled like a motherfucker here, but I needed to get these thoughts out. Look forward to me being back with another lovely story about dudes breakin' barriers and bakin' butt brownies!
Thanks,
Brey

Posted 5 years agoHello to my 9 watchers! Thank you so much for showing your appreciation for the first story I posted! It means a lot that other people enjoy the same aspects of this kink that I do. Anyway, I want to start working on more stories, but I would like some input first from anyone willing to give it. My questions are as follows:
1. What species would you like to see represented in future stories? Foxes? Scalies? Avians? I'm open to a lot of ideas, although I wouldn't be as into writing some of the less "conventionally-attractive" ones, if that makes any sense. Sorry, things like bovines don't really do it for me.
2. Should I keep the narrative in 1st person from the perspective of Brey, or move the narration to 3rd person omniscient? I intend to stick with Brey as the main character, at least for the next story, but I would like to know if you think the way 1st person lent itself to describing his thoughts and feelings was beneficial to the story.
3. Do you have any suggestions for scenarios? I have a couple already brainstormed (don't worry, I'm not out of ideas already!), but I just wanted to know if any of you had a specific barrier-breaking poop memory or fantasy that you'd like to see in writing. In the same vein, are there any character archetypes/personalities that you think would be hot to read a poop story about? Consider this an invitation to give me requests... that I may or may not fill. Who knows?!?😅
Anyway, that's about all I had to say. I'm already beginning to work on the second story, but I'd like to incorporate as much feedback as possible before I release it.
Thanks,
Brey
